Dreamscape: SIxth Archive Gateway

"Only our minds can enter this realm," Calano said, knocking his skull, "That's how it works. The protections to safeguard anything bad are ancient and powerful, even more so than Kaos."

Yes, if Insa 'goes back' then she just falls asleep while waking up. Falls asleep in the Dreamscape, wakes up in reality. The inverse is true to get in to the Dreamscape.

Thaidakar, Bookwyrm, I'm too lazy to go back and read what's happened so... what's happened?

Bookwyrm had a vision that the Worldseers who were active here and made the archives were an evil branch-off organization called the Worldshapers, then downloaded the entire Archive into his magic book.

Thaidakar is fighting a suit of armor wielding one of the chicken knives. The same kind that killed Wizard.

Nameless followed Calano into the Archive. “Do you know if there’s an organization system? Something I could use to find books from specific worlds?”

Ravelast woods

A massive black raven looks down on Layra from atop a nearby tree.

A voice calls to Layra, a melodic, rich, feminine voice. Transform, call upon the powers you have been granted by the Kaos. Travel with me, quickly now!

"I'm sure there is," Calano said, "And Bookwyrm probably knows it. We just have to find him." He listened intently, then heard shouts and clangs, coming from a ways away.

He dashed towards it with a "Come on!" shouted behind him.

Layra thinks for a moment before transforming into a large mottled black and gray swallow, and perching up in the tree with the large raven.

Rue followed, twisting her ring viciously. She started the weave for compulsion, then set it aside and prepared weaves of air.

The Raven grinned at the Swallow.

Want to race to be the first one to corrupt a new person? Here's where they are at.

The Raven sent the location to the Swallow through the Kaos, transmitting the location to her brain.

The Raven cocked her head, Or you could just smell them. They smell pretty bad.

Insa watched them all race off. She still felt very strongly that they shouldn't all be here without anyone watching. "Good luck." She let herself drift off.

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway

At the same time Insa jolted awake. She looked around at everyone sleeping. None of them had been too worried about Emma but honestly Insa was terrified of her. If Emma could trap her once and almost do it again in a dreamscape then she didn't want to take any chances.

Dreamscape: The Sixth Archive

Bookwyrm's eyes widened slightly as he saw the sword in Matra's hand.

Not now. Ask later.

He began running towards where Thaidakar fought the suit of armor. As he ran, familiar minds entered his mental sight.

Calano, Nameless...and someone else. Someone I haven't met yet.

They were at the door to the Archive.

Hey! he called to them mentally. We have a situation, and could use your help. Bookwyrm transmitted to their minds how to get to his location.

Rue jumped at the voice in her head, but recovered quickly and sent back, What do you want me to do?

Our ally is fighting some kind of automaton, and I think he could use some help.

Thaidakar, we need you back so you can RP whether you actually do need help or not.

Thaidakar felt hollow.

Our bond was destroyed...

He pushed past the sudden pain and cursed himself. Thaidakar jumped off of the automaton, he needed help. He just couldn't do this himself... at least, without accepting that horrible future...

Rue let the compulsion weave fall away. It wouldn’t do much good here. Is there anything else? Anything more…alive? She sent. As much as she hated the Asha’man, she knew he’d be more help than she could.

A gateway split the air in front of Bookwyrm and Nameless charged through, flinging weaves of fire at the automaton.

Thaidakar turned, "thank the ancient ones..."

The giant suit of armor automaton waved its sword at the weaves, unsure what to do.

The fireballs slammed into the automaton as Nameless continued channeling, sending weaves of earth that caused the floor beneath the automaton to explode violently as he continued a relentless barrage of fire.

The automaton stumbled, almost falling. Thaidakar rushed at it, slamming a book he'd grabbed from one of the shelves into its feet. The automaton tripped, falling to the ground with a loud bang.

Nameless halted his attack, breathing heavily as he prepared a few more weaves in case the automaton got back up. "Thaidakar. Good to see you again. I'm glad you're alright."

Thaidakar smiled, "hey, Nameless. It's good to see you too." He grabbed the automaton's arm, holding it down. He grabbed its sword out of its grip, groaning under the weight. He walked over to its head as it started to stand up. It waved its arms at THaidakar, but he batted them away with the sword. He slammed the sword into the automaton's chest. The automaton made a high pitched screaming noise and then fell apart, pieces of armor going everywhere.

Nameless released the source, wiping his brow free of sweat. "So, this Archive. Do you know how to find stuff in it?"

He shrugged, "I don't know. Bookwyrm might now by now. I was... doing other things."
