Thank you. I have thought of 13 creatures that are way more powerful than anything else. Like if everything that uses magic was to level up then the most powerful individual would be level 12. A god would start at level 13 and top out at level 15. The 13 will start at 16 and top out at 17. From the very top of 12 you would only just be able to see the bottom of 13. At the top of 15 you would only just be able to see 16. So to stop Yin from consuming Yang instantly, there are 13 layers of a glass like substance. These layers will colour the light that goes from Yang to Yin. When a creature dies it will leave an etching in the layer. When the layer has become completely covered in etches it will burst and fly up to Yang and stick inside it. Once the last layer has been burst it will go up to Yang and pop it. This starts the end of everything. The 13 will cause the last layer to burst. Towards the end of everything they will gather on that last layer, which will be seen by the last 2 species to survive. They will then start fighting, as they fight they will start to break themselves apart. As their body is the universe, they will cause everything to break apart. Which I guess would suck for the last 2 species because as they look at them fighting they will see all of the lights in the sky go out. Until there is only one left, which will obviously be whichever star they happen to orbit, The 13 will then appear in the midst of the gathering of people, well 2 will as the rest will be dead, they will then fight until only 1 survives. Depending on how it gets written one of two things will happen, either the last 1 will explode and break the last layer in a violent manner and Yin will consume everything instantly or it will turn to the layer and break it in a non-violent manner and Yin will take about ten years to consume everything. The 1 will then answer any and all questions that whoever survives will have. Which is a big deal because prior to this point if any of The 13 answered a question in depth that person, and anyone in hearing range, either died or went insane. It will be weird because The 13 will gather on that last layer kind of in the middle of their fight. As they fight they will travel everywhere and break everything. But by the time they gather on that last layer all bar 2 species will be gone and roughly half of the planets and stars will be gone.

Both. I have the beginning and the end of the universe figured out. Spoilers Yin consumes everything because that's what Yin does. So any stories written will kind of follow the different species from their beginnings to their end. With 2 species watching the end of the universe together. How they react to the end, and they will know its the end because they will be the only species still alive, on the only planet still whole, depends on whoever writes the end. ATM I'm leaning more towards forms being that which binds. But it may change as I have only been working on this idea for about 2 weeks.

So me and a friend are creating a magic system. I suppose I should begin at the beginning. In the beginning there was nothing, then there was something. This something was Yin and Yang together as one. Eventually they begin to separate, with Yang on the inside and Yin on the outside ( think of them as a ball ). At some point Yang explodes and pushes Past Yin to create all of everything ( Yin goes into the middle and stays there until the end of the universe ). Yin and Yang together make all of the universe ( why they make the universe is yet to be discovered ). Life, as far as Yin and Yang are concerned, is both a inevitability and an accident. So they create 12 'forces' ( forces is a stupid name I want to change it ) These 12 'forces get to create 12 life forms. Each life form kind of represents the 'forces'. So these 'forces' are responsible for the development of these lifeforms, humans are not included in the 12. The Forces of the Universe They are as follows -Procreation, the force that creates life. -Decay, the force that ends life. -Light, the force that pushes the Universe outwards. -Gravity, the force that pulls the universe inward. -Vibration, the force of communication. -Forms, the force that decides what inanimate objects looks like. -Diffusion, the force that controls the movements of particles. -Combustion, the force that controls the change of one element into another. -Genetics, the force that dictates what forms life takes. -Friction(?), the force that governs the collection of energy. -Awareness, the force that governs how 'intelligent' something is. -Magnetism, the force that compels similar particles to bond. So these 'forces', which will each have a different colour, will be what the different lifeforms manipulate to use magic. By using these different 'forces' they will manipulate Space, Time and SpaceTime. ( These 3 things are a representation of Yin and Yang, with Space being Yang, Time being Yin and spaceTime being Yin and Yang as one. This system is very much in its beginning stages and any insight you lot could give me would be most welcome. Be aware that I am quite intoxicated as I write this Topic thing so if you have any questions or if I'm not really making sense I will endeavor to clarify sometime after you have asked questions, or not depending on the number of posts I suppose. If anyone tries to correct me when I am making things that they requested me to do I just say 'well here it is. Please knock yourself out so I can come and do it properly.' I then walk away and wait for them to get frustrated at whatever it is then walk in, tell them to go away and build it. If they manage to do it without my help I sarcastically clap when they come in to proclaim victory and ask them why they wanted me to do it.

I have a quasi theory that the reason The Lord Ruler was so brutal was because he was compelled by Preservation to create an unchanging society. So he worked to create an empire that he thought would last then was forced to preserve it.

Were there any episodes centered on just those 2? I'd rather not have Missy episodes be centered on Clara as most episodes she annoyed me. Though if they were to do that then I would rather it be Missy going along and grabbing all of the Doctors old companions, and their families, then grabbing the Doctor and killing them in front of him. As he watches helpless and knowing that he is the reason they are being tortured to death. But that's only because I would like to see a truly broken Doctor. Having him be the reason they die would truly break him, then Missy could take him and travel the universe together as she rebuilds him to a more pleasing version of himself.

If we could just get a couple of episodes of Missy getting a 'companion' and travelling with them that would be great. Without the Doctor being anywhere near the episode.

I think I have only seen 2 full episodes of 12. The rest I skip most of the episode. Especially when 12 gets that stupid guitar out, I mean if he is going to play an instrument it really shouldn't be a human one, it should be from gallifrey.

That was bad and you should feel bad. But you got a begrudging grin from me so you get an upvote. But note the upvote is given out under duress. As to the Doctors, as far as characters they are fine but in terms of story they are getting worse over time. IMO.

So you believe that Storing memories cause some sort of damage? As it is different to, say, strength in that Storing strength doesn't create a permanent reduction in the amount of strength available. If this is the case could you use Gold healing to bring the memories back? Or any kind of Investiture based healing?

Yes. But Stormlight healing is different from an active use of a Surge. For example Kaladin was able to heal using Stormlight while he was unconscious but he has never used a Lashing while unconscious. As far as I'm aware.

If a Radiant was to get hit in the head hard enough to cause damage to the brain, would they need to heal the damage before they could actively make use of their Surges?

He could easily heal it. But he still just got shot in the face. So he would be severely confused and in a lot of pain. Which would make him very easy to hit again. Ok. So assuming that the bullet stays lodged in his head, would Kaladin be able to Lash whilst the bullet is inside his brain? How much of the damage would he need to heal before he can actively use his Stormlight. Still gonna give the win to W&W. Guns are very powerful.

I don't think she would know, unless she has been to Scadrial's Cognitive Realm. I doubt W&W care about honour in the same way that Syl does. She is incorporeal and has limited effect on the Physical Realm, she would be less effective as a distraction than Wayne. Does Wax have an Aluminum gun?
