  1. So we have 18 players, which means 2 houses of 4 and 2 of 5. If we can get up to 20 players, we can either have 5 houses of 4 players each, or 4 houses of 5 players. So if you want to start the usual last minute rush of signups, now is the time, otherwise, the spec doc is open, and active. (We're currently Sacrificing @MacThorstenson to the Gods of Luck and Chance (and Clowns))
  2. I ha e one in the works, but it's giving me difficulty. Trying to figure out a complicated new mechanic.
  3. 3:00 AM their time or your time?
  4. You can pass atium and take another action. If they promise to do an action in return for the atium, i will not hold them to that promise. They can break it as they see fit. (I will be disappointed in them though.) You signing up? Not letting me quote Metroid, but yes. You are competing against your own house. There will be one winner from each house. If a Kandra's master dies, someone else can kandrafy them. But they're going to keep their alternate win con.
  5. Alright, we have 17 players right now, which is enough for 4 houses. We're off to a good start. If you have signed up, please check the Player List to make sure I saw you. Also, some rule additions and clarifications: When a player is killed by Allomancers or Mistborn, Their Killer's house will be revealed You can pass Atium to another player in addition to any other action you take The Guards have an Atium enhanced ability now. When used to Roleblock a player, you will learn what action that player was attempting to take.
  6. Want a spec link? We in the doc would appreciate fresh Dr. Pepper.
  7. The atium goes to you, not your house. Your house is lame. If multiple people attempt to use the same action, they are simply told that the action was not successful. (Did not find Atium)
  8. 1. I can remove and add houses as necessary. We need at least 12 players to play, and no more than 60. 2. Your vote will not count. 3. You will not lose the atium if you could not take the action. 4. The Hazekillers will win, and the Mistborn will be expended. Yes.
  9. 0. Glad to have you 5th Scholar! 1. The Game ends when there is 1 or less players alive in each house. Kandra players do not count as alive for this purpose. 2. At the moment, Guards do not have an atium Ability. 3. Obligators can be used on your own house. 4. Apologies, that should be 33.33 repeating. So atium is a 1 in 3 chance. The first two tries, you have a 1 in 3 chance, but if you mine 3 times, the 3rd time is guaranteed, assuming the first two failed. 5. I'm going to be specific about this. One of the themes in this game is Balance. Every player starts off the exact same. So there are no secret Roles.
  10. Also, please read the rules first, so you actually know if you want to play.
  11. Jack Tormander presided over the ball. The fanciest one of the season, and the last, though few knew it. Most houses knew that the balls would stop soon. Tensions were on the rise. Atium had been stolen, nobles slain, Skaa rebelling. War was coming. But none of the houses expected it to start that very night. After the dinner ended, when the House Lords sat at the long table, waited on by their Stewards. Jack Tormander. Wyrm Heron. William Zerrung. Claincy Ffnord. Rab Heatherlocke. Matthew Machmuller. 6 of the most powerful people in all the world. While smiling through their teeth at each other, they sipped their wines and ate their desserts. While watching for knives and arrows, the drank poisons. While screaming in burning agony, they fell from the benches. The Ball didn’t go on much longer after that, as Nobles retreated to the safety of their keeps, abandoning their food and their smiles. Each of them seeing the double sided blade of Opportunity and Vengeance. When one man dies, another must surely take their place. The Lord is dead. Long live the Lord. Welcome to Long Game Forty Two! This is a Anti-Faction Long Game run by A Joe in the Bush and Elbereth. This is not an ordinary game, so please read the rules carefully. At the beginning of the game, each player will be sorted into a random house. (Tormander, Heron, Zerrung, Heatherlocke, Macmuller, Ffnord) There will be no more than 5 people per house, and no fewer than 4. Each house will have their own private Doc to communicate in. You may not Copy/Paste from or into your Doc. You cannot vote on a member of your house. Each house has access to the same 6 actions. Each night, you may attempt to use one of your house’s actions. If you and another member of your house attempt to use the same action, neither of you succeed, but you do not know you failed. Actions: Allomancers: You may send your house’s Allomancers to kill another player. You cannot send them to kill a member of your own house. Hazekillers: You may send your house’s Hazekiller’s to Defend another player from one Attack. Guards: You may send your house’s Guards to Detain another player, canceling any order they sent in. You cannot target a member of your own house with this. You can stop a player from using Guards. Obligators: You can send your house’s Obligaters to negotiate with another player. They will not be able to vote the next day, but they are not aware of this. Skaa: You may send your house’s Skaa to mine for Atium. They succeed 33.3% of the time. If you have Atium, you may use it to amplify another ability. See the Atium section. Beggars: You can talk to the Beggars, and learn who is in PM’s with a target player. You will also learn which of them is used the most, so don’t bother making 100 PM’s just to hide who you are actually talking to. Atium: In addition to the Nightly actions, there is a Daily Lynch. With regards to the writeup, the lynched player will be revealed to have Skaa Ancestry, and will be killed by the Inquisitors. Only one player may be Lynched per turn. If there is a Tie in the votes, no one is Lynched. You may also, at any time you want, make any number of PM’s with any number of other Players. This sounds like a pretty simple, cut and dry Faction game. But this is a Joe Game. Nothing is ever as it seems! In order to win, you have to be the last surviving member of your faction. In order to win, you have to kill everyone in your faction. Have fun! The Game will begin in When you sign up, please inform us if you would prefer Longer Days, or Longer Nights Player List: (Straw) (Shanerockes) Lebereth (Droughtbringer) Boseph Jush (Fifth Scholar) Count Olaf (Eternum) Auden Ostlin (Bugsy) (Devotary of Spontaneity) Lord Grumbles (Araris Valerian) Hadrian (Sart) Taswell (Jondesu) Remart (Crimsn Wolf) Altea Meza (Living Legend) Jonas (Stick) (Steeldancer) Leets (Orlok Tsubodai) Locke (Mafia) Ivan (TheMightyLopen) Quetzal (Walin) Dbec (Mage Star) Magus Astrum Quick Links
  12. Still making my way through Season 7. Just finished the Shatner episode. It was great
  13. Tied votes will be randomly decided. If there is a tie in the 2nd 3rd or 4th most votes, 3 players at random will become unconvertable.
  14. Fake Lives This is a Sanderson Elimination Quick Fix game set in the Perfect State Universe. If you haven't, you can learn everything you need to know by reading the first chapter for free. This conflict takes place in the Virtual World of Alornia. Kai's Machineborn are being hacked, and turned into Melhi's Bots. Melhi's Bots are a Conversion Faction, only starting with one player: Sophie who has multiple lives. She can trade them in to convert players to her cause. If there is a Bot who is not Sophie, all the Bots have access to a doc, and the faction can make a kill. But there are a few twist's on this conversion. If a player had the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th most votes on them that cycle, or the previous cycle, they cannot be converted, allowing for preventative voting. In addition, Sophie cannot convert villagers that have a role. Because of this, Sophie can target a list of up to 3 players to convert per turn. If her first choice has a role, they are notified that Sophie attempted to convert them, and the next player on the list will be converted. The Machineborn only have 3 Unique roles. These roles pass on to a random roleless player of any Alignment when they die, and each time they pass on, they get Stronger. The Knight can defend a player from an attack. The Knight Errant can Defend a player from an attack or a conversion. And The Knight Lancer can Defend or Kill a Player. The Steward can Target a player and learn if they have been converted. The Grand Steward can move a player's vote. The Royal Steward can learn a player's alignment. The Lover can cancel one vote on a player. The Fiance can cancel a player's action and vote. The Spouse can block a player's action and vote, and prevent them from speaking outside the thread for the next cycle.
  15. Hmmm, that is true. I suppose I got to excited about Metroid's Pupper.
  16. Alright, fair enough Orlock Tsubodai. Not sure who else to vote on right now. Maybe on Monster Metroid for not sharing pictures of the new Pupper.
  17. I am going to tentatively place a vote on Orlok Tsubodai for this. Kynedath, as he already stated, has always taken this stance. Sure, it isn't optimal play, but it is consistent play for him, and unless he is the only Eliminator in the game, we'll get plenty of other information without his voting.
  18. I will publicly announce i am going for the map. I'd rather get more items now, rather than wait until we have dangerously low numbers of villagers. Personally, i would recommend not going for the gun. The eliminators probably he a quick player who will grab it, and if they don't, we lose to many people.
  19. Shame that neither mr. T foil not Valens had reacted. Small actions begat small chaos, and the plants would only blossom in big chaos. So what else could she do to spook the crowd? Sir T Foil finnaly reacted, opening his lips and hissing out Smart man. Since people we worried about multiple people dying, encouraging that would encourage rashness of action. "Say, mr t. Suppose you're right about that Cactus feller being a plant. Suppose we could kill two of them.for the price of one?"
  20. Sabine smiled softly as she poured more alcohol into the empty cups. "Simpletons see what they want to see, not what is there." She muttered to herself as she picked up another empty glass, and wiped it with her rag. Shining now, it reflected her face, covered in patches of ash, over a coat of darker skin covered paint. Her hair was tied up in a bun instead of free flowing. "Seeing is in the eyes, not the mouth. Surely men of such wiseness should know this." She ducked down under the counter, and grabbed the bottles in the back. Stuff that Breeze reserved for greasing clients and marks both. "Sultan's finest, vintage." She whispered. She poured the drink into two glasses, and set them on the platter. "Sir and ma'am," she projected normally so that valens and Wilson would hear her. "Something more to your liking, sent by Mr. T foil.". Smirking, she winked at Valens.
