Long Game 43: Under the Banner of Adonalsium
Jo and the Bush replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
What if you gave players or shards the ability to put charges towards creating a world? That way, worlds could be restored, helping Autonomy, and hurting Ruin. Or just make that Endowment's Shardic ability. -

I like Bard. Also, @Steeldancer, i apologize for killing you, since i literally had no reason to. I just chose you mostly at random, and partially because it amused me to kill the one who most wanted Odium. -

Even if I had the Shard still, i wouldn't give it to you. I focus on clearing debts first. I currently owe Drought, Devo, and Ecthellion shards. Of course, you might be able to buy my debt from them so that i owe you a shard, but that is up to them. I have reached out to the current owner of Odium!43, both to ask them if i might reveal their identity, or if i can negotiate prices on their behalf. (I'm tempted to open up a bank, and start keeping items safe from future games. . . We should standardize how items work from game to game so that i can abuse the system.) -

Threats, guilt, theft, logic, legal action, tricking-me-into-adopting-them-than-killing-me, or time travel. Bribes are pretty low down on the totem pole. And feel free. I have already learned that the game is over, and i have received the names of both Hoid and Khriss. I know that Stick is Cultivation, i was going to shatter her, but Fifth saved her. -

Unfortunately someone used a better strategy than bribes, and Odium has been given to it's new owner. Once I get the list of shardholders from this game, i will endeavour to buy the rest of them to pay off the rest of my debts. -

@Droughtbringer @Devotary of Spontaneity @Ecthelion III, i owe each of you a shard. I am currently in control of odium!43. I will happily give it to one of you. Specifically, i will give it to the one of you who is willing to bribe me to choose you. -

Given the context, i can't think of a single other scenario that would lead to endgame, so yeah, Gratz HH. -

I finally made time to look through the thread, only to remember that the cycle ends at 8, not midnight. But, having read the thread, I agree with the various stances in favor of Lynching Living Legend over Ripple. I am sorry for being so vague, and not making any posts of substance for people to really read. I will get an analysis post up before the end of the coming night, that will cover at least all of cycle 4 and 5. If I have time, I will go further back. -

Mostly for the reasons others have said, I will vote for RippleGlyf as well. If I have time later, I'll start looking at bard's posts and look for his allies. Taldain World Doc is still quiet. 111 words spoken. -

Did I miss something? Last I checked, this was the list of suspects: Young Bard Eternum Fifth Scholar Jondesu Droughtbringer livinglegend A Joe in the Bush RippleGylf Megasif shanerockes Drake Marshall Elbereth Jondesu is of course dead, and we were focusing on the Rosharans and the Taldainians, which meant that the suspects are Young Bard Eternum A Joe in the Bush RippleGylf Other than Young Bard pointing stuff out, he hasn't been cleared, so why are discluding him? (Also, I'm not Ruin) -

Sart, Arinian, Hemalurgic Headshot and Myself are on Taldain. (And Trell) since I am tho only possible Ruin on Taldain, I expect that Roshar will be destroyed tonight. Can we get a list of who is on Roshar now? HH was last online 2 hours before the writeup, but none of his aspects voted. The player he voted on didn't even get lynched. So far, i haven't seen him abuse his power, so even if he is corrupted, I'm inclined to let him pursue making aspects, especially if it distances us from Ruin ending the game. -

Not that I can prove. I haven't left Silverlight. @Seonid When I was sent to Taldain, you put my name at the top of the doc, on the player list, as well as Jondesu's and Steeldancer's. From what i read, it was the same doc as the previous cycles, implying that players on world should be able to view who was previously on a world. My Question then is, If A player were to arrive on a world, and get sent away because they blew the world up, would their name be put at the top of the doc still? Or would it simply be ignored? -

>.< I literally just finished making that same list, and immedietly got notified that you had posted. Bah. Anyway, first off, to get this out of the way, Where is Honor? Does anyone have it? Or is it on a world somewhere? And secondly of Jondesu, Joe, Eternum, Shane, Bard, Scholar, and Ripple, I agree with Ripple as being Ruin. I know I am not Ruin, and I don't believe that Shane is active enough for it. I don't even think he was online during the timeframe, from what i remember of the Submarine PM's read times. Fifth Scholar did in fact claim to be going for Odium, and Orlok's notes indicate that Orlok believed him, so I'm not going to question that. Jondesu has not read or posted in Taldain this cycle, so I doubt it's him, though that is weak. At the time, that left Bard, Eternum, and Ripple. Before HH's post, i discounted Ripple, since i assumed that Monster/Ripple had not been active enough. I trusted Bard due to his theory of 3/4 refugees plus Ruin meaning that Ruin was on Roshar. I couldn't find anything to clear Eternum. I would vote for Eternum if Ripple can defend themself. -

Pinch Hitter buddies for the Win! Well, I am disappointed in the lynch, but i expect i would have been had HH been lynched as well. I'm going to throw it out there that I am also going to try to get Honor. It would be nice If only 2 other people tried for it, so that i could maximise my chances. =P Actually, how many people are still in Silverlight? -

I can confirm the N3 action. Also, i'm going to vote for Hemalurgic Headshot, not because i am all that suspicious of him, but because i trust Straw. Preservation's shardic ability is a powerful defense, and he used it on me, when he has no way of knowing if i am on his team. To me, that means he doesn't have an eliminator team, or he would protect them. -

Sorry for not posting yet, i wanted to finish taking notes on the previous cycles, but everytime i do that, i get bored 5 pages in. So i'll just talk a bit about this turn for now. Eh, with Braize gone, and Preservation in Play, maybe people decided the ratio of kills to protects was fine? Plus, you know, no one had died yet. When there is no evidence of kills happening, there is no pressing need to grab protection. Why wouldn't you get Ruin and Odium at the same time? I don't have any suggestions, sorry. Why Magestar in the first place? If this was a normal vil vs Elim game, i would declare this post strongly village, and trust Fifth. But, since there are two elim factions, the elims still want other Elims lynched. -

Jo and the Bush replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I don't know that. If I was Survival, i would give that offer, and then keep Odium and Ruin. You wouldn't be able to die that way, and could continually spam your day ability to get extra lives to survive the lynch. You would be virtually unkillable, unless folks went to Roshar, converted their investiture, found what world you were on, and double tapped you. I do not recommend giving Pyro Ruin or Odium. But, you are right that you did offer a way to help the village. So i will retract my willingness to kill you. I would like to leave Straw alive as well, pending further evidence of their guilt -

I do not. Seonid made Elbereth and I a replacement PM, but i have no clue what Orlok and Elbereth said in it. That said, i have finally finished reading the thread. You guys are talkative. I agree that Straw is probably Ruin, and that Pyro is probably Survival. I would still happily lynch/kill him for lack of a better target, since he has not offered a way to help the village. -
Long Game 42: Master of the House

Be Preserved Hadrian Heatherlocke gasped for air and reached out. His hands tore into something on either side of him, and he he blinked desperately as blindingly blue light pierced his eyes. Everything felt electrified, as if it had been numb moments earlier. He could smell soil, and mist, and the early morning. His stomach rumbled furiously, starving. Why am I here Lord? Because I have been outplayed. “Lard Ruler! Muh lard, yur uhlive!” Hadrian squeezed his eyes shut against the light, and rubbed them with his hands. Debris smeared across his face, soft and cold. Grave dirt? He pushed against the ground, easing himself up, as he squinted up. There was a figure. The figure looked poor, yet regal. Frayed, like an old sweater. No, an ancient cloak. Yet it was greater than him. He was a used napkin next to this. The figure hopped down into the hole and grabbed his shoulders. “Muh Lard, ken ye speak? Are ye ok?” His eyes began to adapt, and the man’s features swam into focus. Rough, dirty skin. More like stone than leather. Large brows, thick nose, beady eyes. A particularly ill bred Skaa. Ruin has bred himself a weapon, and put it on a throne. I need you to stop him. “I,” Hadrian inhaled, then exhaled, spewing out a layer of dust, “I am ok. What is your name?” “Yew, muh lard. Muh ma weren’t te most imaginative.” “A strong name.” His eyes finished adapting, and Hadrian saw it was morning. Very early. He scratched his chin, and was surprised to find stubble. I have kept you alive for now. They will not expect you. Hopefully you can disrupt their plans. Memories replayed themselves in his mind. He had died, and God had sent him back, with a purpose. Hadrian grinned at the Skaa, and clasped his shoulder. “Yew, a strong wood and a strong name. Help me out of this grave, we have work to do.” The Skaa cackled, and pulled him up. “Ye git yerself a nece long vacation, sur, but ye choose ta come back and work? Ye’d make ole’ Rab proud ye would. What ‘er ye be needing me fer?” “First, I need this grave buried. Can’t have anyone knowing I am alive. And then, I’m going to preserve the Lord Ruler’s reign.” Hadrian, I don’t know what Ruin plans for Altea and Locke, but he has laid plans for them. You must kill them before they can come to fruition. Please. Araris won the tiebreaker, joining Fifth Scholar, Crimsn, and Orlok as our winners. Apologies for being 6 days late. I blame Finals.- 352 replies

Errrrrmmmmm. I don't know. . . The problem is, it is finals for me right now. I really want to play, but i need to support the current "Don't sign up if you don't have time, and i do not have time until after this coming Monday. that is almost 5 days i would be borderline inactive. So i really, really, shouldn't play, which makes me really sad..
