i don't know if anyone has thought of this before but i found it odd that dalinar already knew the second oath to give to become a bondsmith. so i'm thinking he went to see the nightwatcher and he asked to know what the most important words a man can say are and she told him the oaths for the order he would fit best in to. He probably didn't know that it was an oath for the knights at first and just thought that it was what he was supposed to do by uniting alethkar. after he talked to kaladin and learned about the oaths he figured it out and then went to talk to the stormfather where he said he didn't need to be told the oaths. it could also have helped spur him on to change after his brother died.

depends on the type of inquisitor if its say marsh with every type of power in mistborn then yeah hard to beat the speed str compounding. the windrunner would get overpowered by speed alone but if its the inquisitor from the first books then the wind runner has it

i think the stormfather could offer any of the surges and picked the best to suit Dalinar there is probably a normal spren to give that bond other then the stormfather but you don't have that option for the vote

ask him if the stormfathers bond any different then a normal bondsmith's bond

what about curiosity that could be a shard and such a shard probably would not want to be tied to a single place when it has the whole galaxy to explore

i don't think the everstorm will forceably change the Parshendi just the sprenless parshmen though i could be wrong
