    no i was saying theres nothing important going on there hoid tends to be around areas where things are happening and the horeeater peaks has a shardpool that seems to be how he got to roshar in the first place and if that is how he travels then a good place to look for him would be around shardpools

    they are all part of a coherent whole. however i do believe that you would need to go in a certain order to bring all 16 back together as certain shards couldn't be held together at the same time regardless of the persons will power.

    you should have let him teleport to planets from alien movies the face hugger kinds granted hower with no one to teach you the odds are you would end up dead and thats not even your bane you can't use the letter s anymore i wish i could play any video game and it would look state of the art

    a false trail needs to be believable i find it unlikely that hoid would hang out there otherwise and it wouldn't be the whole lake it would be a normal sized shard pool somewhere connected to the purelake probably under the rocks

    granted but you forget your memories from any other world you were on i wish i could make a living by going outside and killing monsters like in dragon quest or basically any rpg

    well i didn't read the whole thread for each of those but at least in the first few posts they don't seem to use the reasoning i did to come to this conclusion

    i haven't ever seen then mentioned but has anyone else guessed that the purelake might have a shard pool. i guess this because why else would someone look for hoid there. it doesn't seem like much happens in the area and hoid likes to be near big events anyone that knows him would know to look elsewhere but maybe they just wanted to know if he came through a shardpool that is in the area. i always though it was an odd place to look before but never thought to much about it till about 5 mins ago when it clicked in my head.

    adolin won't have any trouble with what he did but what others think of what and how he did it will be a problem. and it will get out somehow. i do wonder if kaladin had happened across them fighting would his oaths/sly require him to protect sadeas.

    the shards might need a person because they aren't a complete being so they use others to fill the gaps if that was the case Adonalsium wouldn't need someone to hold him. i do however believe he would become something different then what he was before

    i still think logic or reason is a very likely choice and hoidhunter had a few good ones i'm sure we could tease a few out that would turn out to be true

    well there are 4 that are dead and somewhat up for grabs and assuming odium dies that would be 5 if a few got it in to there heads to go reform the shattered ones we could have 5 dual shards or other assorted numbers

    the third mistborn trilogy will most likely be something like that where there is only a few shards left all grouped together and maybe one or 2 singles like the one that just hides

    i don't think the base back story to hoid from liar is going to change but parts of lair have been cannibalized i think

    speaking of technology should roshar have better tech after 4500 years its not like they started from scratch after the last desolation and needed to discover how to make a wheel again
