Vengeance? I think you misspelled justice. -

I disagree. Journey before destination, remember? -

I don't think Amaram is a KR potential, because he killed Kaladin's squat. Whatever his justification, he broke the first ideal of the Radiants, so he can't be one unless WoR's Amaram is some new and different version of him from WoK. -
I hope this isn't when Kal says the next ideal, because it would be too predictable.
-
Apologizing for something like this is not near enough and I don't think Amaram can redeem himself to Kaladin unless he dies protecting Kal or something. But Amaram didn't lie about how he got the shards, so perhaps he won't deny if Kaladin confronts him. Honestly, what happens between the two of them is what I'm dying to find out.
-
But of course for the most awesome of all POVs, Lift would have to be there.

I think true lies are much like Aes Sedai's truths.

Should I buy the hard cover or ebook of WoR?
Aleksiel replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
This is my dilemma as well. I'm rooting for the ebook mainly because I will be able to get it as soon as WoR is released. -
These POVs didn't happen at once and we saw the whole battle through them, each one of the POVs showing a different moment of it, plus all these characters were involved in the battle and they were three of the sides in it - the traitor, the victims and the saviors. I doubt Kal vs Szeth fight will last a whole chapter, let alone more or involve anyone but them. Though you have a point.
-
I prefer Szeth's POV. He wouldn't be expecting anything like Kaladin! Reading what goes through his mind as he realizes he is not one of a kind (yeah, they are different, yet alike enough) would be awesome. Especially if Szeth is to be captured or abandon his Truthlessness. I don't think we'll get multiple POVs because Brandon hasn't done this before and it would feel strange and out of place. Yes, certain scenes have been done in two POVs, but more than two isn't WoK style and I think it's safe to assume it won't be WoR style also.

Oooh, cool! Thanks! What? What?! No. No way. Worst case scenario ever! This would be the worst thing that could happen. Kaladin's story can't end yet!

Awakened swords? Nightblood? You lost me, guys. What book is this?

So what are you going to do until WoR comes out?

I am so reading Kaladin's reaction to Amaram before anything else. -
Ah, you're right. My bad. Then I have absolutely no idea here Gavilar's shards went, probably to his son though I haven't compared the descriptions of the said sets. Are the shards Dalinar gave to Elhokar those that can be rented for a price?
-
Yeah, but the more it's mentioned the clearer it becomes there's something to it, while the first time it's hinted is very subtle and easy to miss. That's why I was 'Oh, stormlight! How obvious is that when you know!' Brandon is really good at this! Edit: Though I wonder how nobody saw him inhale the stormlight.
-
Dalinar gave the set he won to Adolin. I think Elhokar's set was Gavilar's. Edit: typo

I also started re-reading WoK. And I noticed something when Kaladin first starts training as a slave with that plank Stormlight! Stormlight! The guys from Bridge Four are watching him, betting spheres on how heavy the plank was. It's really cool to notice such details I never payed attention to when I first read the book.
