  1. Why would a lesbian have, want, or need, a different job than any other woman? I mean, some of them would some of them wouldn't, just like all people. Sexual identity doesn't dictate job affinity.
  2. Anyway, Kaladin problem insisted. He's got a thing for doing things himself.
  3. Because time is really easy to tell when you're being tortured nonstop? Also
  4. Yep, it's real. I'm trying to get the person who recorded the video to send it to me, or upload it to Arcanum, or some medium where it can be linked to.
  5. Brandon's basically confirmed that Rayse is lying to himself and everyone else when he claims to be Passion.
  6. ...like? And still, probably not.
  7. I feel like now we're looking for a circumstance to fit the conclusion, instead of finding a conclusion that fits the events.
  8. It's more a general statement for the room.
  9. Thanks for transcribing it! I was going to if no one else had by Monday. Lucky thing I happened to find it.
  10. Odium isn't Passion, darn it. And also, renewing the Oathpact is a very bad idea.
  11. As far as we've seen, Cognitive Shadows stapled to bodies don't age.
  12. Any luck with your recorder?
  13. My big question was Cal's 3rd one, edited in Why would Kelsier have relinquished the body he already had? The spike is already connecting him to his body, why would he need something else?
  14. They had some degree of choice. Hoid was able to turn down one, after all. It might have varied for each person.
  15. Odium claims to be the Shard of Passion in OB. In no way is that confirmed to be true. And in fact, it's heavily implied in multiple WoBs that he's lying. Also this thread is over a year old
  16. I agree, your best shot is to explore Arcanum (wob.coppermind.net) for a bit, to catch up, then ask specific questions.
  17. Odium did not create humans. Odium didn't create or invest on any world until he got trapped in the Rosharan system. I believe that he was on Ashyn only long enough to influence people to screw up their planet, possibly as an initial move to use them in a plot to weaken or attack Honor and Cultivation. Things happened, and he found the singers easier to influence, or other events took place that we'll find out about later.
  18. I agree with this. Actually I think Kelsier is incapable of hiding his identity for any length of time.
  19. Welcome to the forum! This thread was about using bronze to sense investiture. Vin was just sensing a metal that she couldn't burn, not using bronze.
  20. I remember something about Miles being a savant, but it's one of those elusive (or imaginary) WoBs that I can't find again. That being said, Miles makes sense as a savant. He burns gold to the point where he's insensitive to physical sensation when he's not burning it. Very much like how Spook's senses were dulled when he wasn't burning tin.
  21. It's technically possible, but a lot more difficult, because in Feruchemy, it's basically about balance. It'd be very hard for a normal Feruchemist to ever be able to store up enough of one attribute to tap it enough to become a savant. If they were able to Compound, then definitely. Miles was a gold savant, for instance.
  22. We saw it when he arrived in Kholinar, and it was still next to him when he passed out.
  23. There's always another secret!
  24. He just has the eye spike that we know of, and it's connecting his soul to a body.
