Sorry I think the reason Nale things that Surgebinders cause Desolations, and the reason the original KR broke their oaths are going to end up being the same reason. Possibly involving spren-ish motivations.

Added Weiry's JordanCon transcription, and the SEattle signing linked above.
-
Yep that's what I read too, but I WAS trying to keep this thread PG

Peter just won this thread.
-
Wow that's from a while back. Sure, I can include that. Weiry, how far along is the Interview Database? Like, what date is it up to?
-
You don't wanna know what my brain read your thread title as I think that unless they are intentionally "looking" in the Cognitive Realm, they wouldn't necessarily see other spren. Syl noticed Pattern but had to go help Kaladin in the Physical so couldn't really investigate.

I updated the first post. Thanks! Someone should ask Brandon or Peter how many hidden things are in the map(s) total, so we can make sure we got all of them
-
Did we decide that the stamp on a lot of the maps were the cymatic pattern for Stormseat? And I think you're right about Roshar-Greatshell. WORSHIP HER!
-
Hey, I thought of it at the same time, you just beat me to posting I'm down for naming Roshar-Greatshell Julia! Do you think she's riding on the back of four giant elephants too? Should I update the first post with all of the Easter Eggs? (And what are they all?)

I don't think Adolin is a Surgebinder yet--he doesn't seem to have anything in his past that would break him enough to allow the Nahel bond. However, any reason he can't be a Squire at this point?

I think the odd creatures are greatshells. There was red, orange and violet blood in the WoK prologue. Red would be human, orange is voidbringer/parshmen, and violet would be greatshells. There's probably a maximum size to which parshmen/Parshendi can grow (square cube law). It'd be really great if the greatshells were actually allies of humans (with the right spren) and the humans have been hunting them to extinction all this time.

Brandon thinks that T went to the NIghtwatcher after Gavilar's death, though he wasn't absolutely positive. It was PAFO'd but I don't think we ever heard back for sure.
-
I'm sad to say goodbye to the Roshar-Greatshell theory though.

I'm pretty sure Nightblood is considered a Splinter of Endowment thanks to the amount of Investiture he has. And since it is safe to call Nightblood a significant Splinter at that.

Brandon's been pretty close-mouthed about Ryshadium, but there is something funky going on with them.

Well Shallan and Dalinar haven't really had a chance to chat yet. She's been willing to (eventually) trust Dalinar before, so hopefully in the next book, she'll tell him about the Ghostbloods. That would be really nice. Also, Kaladin tell Elhokar and Dalinar about Roshone, Dalinar telling anyone about his wife, and Lift tell everyone about her awesomeness!

So it WAS fractals! Whoooo! My mind can finally put this to rest. Awesome job you guys! Now how does this affect the history of Roshar? Or maybe he meant the making of Roshar in writing?
-
Here you go! .
-
That seems unlikely, because
-
That one has already happened. It's when Kaladin stands against Moash to defend Elhokar.

The Radiants are associated with certain colors, and people's eyecolor can indeed change to the color for the Order they are in. The wine colors are a cultural thing.
