I would like to announce that I DM'd for the first time ever last night. For five people who had never played D&D. And everyone seemed to have fun!

He actually tweeted recently (Tue Jan 4) that there is a character from Elantris in Mistborn. The quesiton is, did he mean the city of Elantris, or the book? Hmm... That's interesting... Merits further study I think.

When I click "Read more," on the most recent post (about Worldcon) it takes me to an error page.

I assume that only applies to people who have actually, ya know, read any of his unpublished works? I've never read any of his unpublished works, so i presume that he wouldn't prefer us to stay quiet about any thing that has been publicly said, and speculation, right (for example, the snippets he mentions about dragonsteel in that Q&A i just posted)? Yeah, ever since my first transgression (back on TWG I said something very stupid) I've been very careful about what I say about Dragonsteel. I brought it up here because somebody asked a question about Frost in public, and Brandon answered it in public. Frost happens to be a character in Dragonsteel. All of my points except the last one came from The Way of Kings, or public information on the internet. I will admit that I didn't think, "Dragons do/do not appear in the narrative," was much of a spoiler, but if Peter says I'm wrong then I'll shut up and never mention the book again. Better safe than yelled at by Peter. Anyway, enough about that, lets move on to the answers we just got!

Yeah, I didn't even remember that there was a prologue... Oh well. Thanks Chaos. Um... Taking your last comment as a subtle hint and shutting up about Dragonsteel now.

Summary: Fact 1: Frost has a non-intervention policy. Fact 2: The recipient of the letter in The Way of Kings has a non-intervention policy. Fact 3: The letter writer called the recipient an "old reptile." Fact 4: Peter has outright stated that there is a dragon in Dragonsteel. Fact 5: I don't remember any dragons in Dragonsteel. (Doesn't mean there weren't any, just that I don't remember any. I read this over a year ago. Somebody else who's read it, am I just being stupid here?) I was going to post a crazy theory, but as I think about it, I start to think that maybe I do remember a dragon. But I'm not sure if I'm remembering it, or just making it up. I'm thinking...the characters see one? Flying...over the Shattered Plains? Maybe? ???
