  1. So apparently they need a bio: I've already got something (thanks to you guys) which introduces me, somewhat, but this is also part of what will be representing our community to the others playing. So do you guys have any suggestions? Or do I just list my 'credentials' and my 'impressive stats' and call it a day?
  2. Maybe I should have led with this, but thanks everyone! It's an honour, and I'll try do my best to represent y'all. I certainly try to not die night 1, just for you.
  3. It might almost offset it it just below the average survival rate...
  4. Next question. Should I introduce myself as: 'Haelbarde (aka M'Hael), Lord Odium, The Soul of the Hazecrusher, Essence of Parodium, The One True Herald of the Brightness Ascendant and the Bloodthirsty Goddess, Bearer of Her Blood, Scion of the Heatherlocke Clan and Wielder of Discord, the Reigning Dodo of the 17th Shard, and Blessed by with the Intuition of Metacognition, the Manipulation of the Ghetti's, and the Survival Instincts of Maw.'
  5. If I introduce myself as 'Haelbarde (aka M'Hael), Lord Odium, The soul of the Hazecrusher, Essence of Parodium, The one true herald of the Bloodthirsty Goddess and bearer of her blood, wielder of Discord, blessed by with the intuition of Metacognition and the reigning dodo of the 17th shard', do you reckon I'll get N1'd?
  6. I think a pokemon that can create and recreate a pair of Pokémon with control over time and space probably should be regarded as the most powerful. Arceus doesn't have a check on its power either. Not sure what my favorite game would be. Pearl was the first one I played, but the idea of replaying it doesn't overly appeal to me. HGSS or Emerald (don't have a 3ds to play ORAS yet) would be my pick.
  7. Re: Dynamic rules for max fun - I may be biased here, but I enjoyed LG14, even if I lost it. And that was in part due to some of the on the spot changes. Maybe you did a few things wrong with that game, but ultimately I had fun. I can't speak for the other team though, and from memory Wilson was none to happy about some things, but the game ended how it should have. And I think a lot of the ideas I come up with more focus on the experience rather than the balance, and tend to stray away from 'elimination' gameplay... I think my point was, I don't have any complaints about your GM'ing style!
  8. If you go into Desktop Mode (the button right down the bottom of the page), you should be able to access it.
  9. Interesting... Anyways, the last episode or two have been good - Vax seems to sorta have cheered up. Mostly at least. The last while he's had a really serious/sad face the whole time. And Pike! Been cool to see Pike and Grog interact.
  10. Yup, all caught! They're a lot of fun! @Claincy: I find that twitch streams tend to be epicly slow, but the recorded videos on twitch that you get access to if you subscribe work just fine. I've subscribed once or twice (for instance, when twitter alerted me to a player death recently, I didn't want to wait till Monday for it to appear on the Geek and Sundry site...)
  11. More I was thinking it'd reduce the time commitment of any one player.
  12. It's a pity we can't have a few people share an account...
  13. One of the lecturers at my uni runs a weekly two hour "puzzle and games" club. We get 4-10 people usually. It's a bit of fun. Sometimes we get other lecturers turn up.I don't know what student culture is like where you are. So it'd depend.
  14. Sometimes the BBcode-HTML translator breaks, though usually it happens in places like PM or user pages. Or at least it happens on older versions of the forum software...
  15. What language? I was trying to write a simple piece of code in Fortran and arithmetic operations weren't working... Something to do with types of variables I think...
  16. My apologies for forgetting you, Hero. You'd make a good candidate too.
  17. That makes an excellent question to ask. What games do you like to play? Do you have a favorite board game?
  18. Not a big fan of Sudoku's, though there's some variations which are a bit more interesting (say, take all the numbers out, but in each 3x3 block, have inequality signs to indicate whether the numbers in adjacent squares are greater or less than it. Good! A few of my lecturers this year don't, and it annoys me...
  19. Haven't played any pen-and-paper rpgs in person, though I'd like to try and GM one for my family at somepoint... I've played a bit of the Mistborn Adventure Game in play-by-post form over on the steelministry. Video games: Kotor 1&2 TES 3-5 (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) Fallout 3, New Vegas (barebones, I didn't really enjoy them) Mass Effect 1-3 Dragon Age 1-2, plus 3/4 of Inquisition Does Pokemon count? I've a fair number of them.
  20. What's the real value of a particular iDevice?
