  1. There's one problem with the food. Anyone who eats it refuses to eat anything but that food. And the food was only provided at the time the wish was granted, making the granted food the eaters last meal. I wish for a powersource that fits in a pocket that provides unlimited free energy, the form and rate being able to be changed to what I specify. It must interface with anything I want to transfer energy to. It must be completely safe, with no dangerous side effects. Its existence must be known only to myself and anyone I choose to show, although showing it to others cannot be a requirement of it's use. The device must be completely undetectable. The energy must truly be 'free', and not come from anywhere. The manner in which the wish be granted may not affect my ability to have pockets at all. This device must instantly appear in my pocket, and be able to be removed from my pocket. This should be repeatable so that I can put it in my pocket or pull it out as many times as I want. I cannot be transported from my current position, or the world altered at all as part of this wish. The wish cannot alter my life expectancy relative to what it would have been prior to the wish, ignoring the use of the power source. There cannot be any additional affects other than those specified when the device enters my possession. I must also be able to give away the device without any harmful effect to myself.
  2. Journey before Destination - while the reaching the destination is fun, only part of fun is reaching the end. Most of the fun is reading the specifics of all the things on the way. So you'll miss out on being surprised by some of the big reveals, but doesn't mean you won't enjoy the books. If you're like me anyhow. That sorta thing might ruin things for some people.
  3. I'm with Voidus on this one! Also Allomantic nicrosil Feruchemical zinc
  4. It's annoying. I'm 2/3s of the way through local April 1. But then most of you Sharders have lag...
  5. Hal wasn't quick enough. It was his job, ever since bearing Odium, to watch over any of the Heatherlocke clan that went bad. Edrab was one such member. He'd only just heard that events of significance were occurring. He'd come as quickly as he could. But it wasn't enough. He arrived to see him die, and then the building fall on the killer. It amused him to note that the assailant was of the tribe of the previous bearer of Odium, and his somewhat ally while holding Odium. He reached down, taking the head of Edrab. Other were hunting for he knew. At least he would prevent it being descerated. With nothing left for him here, the world lurched as he worldhopped away. Stupid vigilanties...
  6. Is Coffee a Juice?
  7. +1 for Lindsey Stirling. Also speaking of maths, logic and puzzles, have you come across the Canterbury Puzzles, Chaos? One of the professors at my Uni runs a weekly puzzle club on campus, and we made attempts at some of those. They were fun. Mostly...
  8. Sounds like you'd be a cool professor to have. To bad this is my last year of maths. I eagerly anticipate its arrival!
  9. Should I be glad I'm not taking Mathematics classes wherever it is you teach? Oh, and did that forum update ever land?
  10. Hah. I got Clanky expelled as my last act! Woo! Good game guys! With only 3 students left unexpelled, the game game was close, methinks. And if I'd been able to remove Lopen, unless Wonko worked out that he could target me at the uni even though he was expelled, I'd have been able to take the game! So where exactly did my head end up? It was rather heavily contested over. Which leads me on to my next comment. Usually, when you're revealed to be a member of a hidden faction that the other players wish dead, the best thing is the trolling you can do before you kick the bucket. This time, that wasn't quite the case. This time, the best thing was getting everyone to fight over my head. Lopen obviously wanted it, and was the player most likely to get it. But I wasn't about to let that happen. So I moved to the streets, so that Wilson could have OW turn up as a mercenary, and take my head. I contacted Wonko, asked if he was willing to Troll Lopen by killing me first, and both told him how he could have hit me while I was at the university, and made his job easy by going to the Imre. And lastly, I got contacted by Orlok, who wanted to troll Wilson by him getting the head. I didn't mind this plan, but suggested he get it, return it to me, and then I could do what I wanted with in - potentially trading it to Alv for Wilson's profile and then sharing it with Orlok. Truth be told, I don't know if I'd have actually done that, and I probably would have kept the head, trolling Orlok. But all this was the best part of being outed. And woo! Death #11.
  11. I'm pretty sure that detail isn't actually in the rules, but neither was it in the rules last game, and the Kandra, as Wonko said, were Twinborn. Mistwraith that become Kandra, however, don't get powers - I was a mistwraith who became Kandra last game, thanks to Wonko(!), but all I had was my blessing.
