  1. Seeing as everyone else is suggesting plans for people with specific abilities, if you have protection abilities, and don't have a better target, I wouldn't mind some protection - due to meta-reasons (see LG18), I might well be a N1 target for a rogue coinshot or the Spiked. Apparently my head is a valuable commodity (gee thanks Alv...), and while I don't mind dying eventually (and would actually welcome it, presuming I do indeed kick the bucket in LG18, given a death this game will win me the Dodo award! 12 consecutive deaths in SE games!), I'd prefer not to die night 1...
  2. I think it's more you've chosen to suspend your studies, as it were. If you start paying again, you could attend. GMs - can a PC master choose to elevate people like Clanky just anyway? Edit: If you wanted a maths problem to send him crazy, you could have got him to prove that 0.999 recurring = 1. That one breaks brains. Edit 2: Wow, was there a flash mob robbing in the Imre or something? There's barely anything there! And yup, you read that right. I'm in the Imre, meaning any of you expelled malcontents can target me this turn. So come at me. Give me everything you've got!
  3. The MBI isn't so bad. There's a lot of character, yes, but character's don't know everything about everyone else, which means you don't have to have read everything to participate. Usually, when you create a character, you have a look through the characters of the more active players (or just talk to the other players) and find characters who yours might interact with. That limits the amount to read through considerably. What I'd recommend the MBI for in particular is for practicing to writing well formed characters - a character application is usually something like 1000-3000 words (people usually write about 1000 words for their first one, but write more when they've been around for a bit), and this encompasses their history, personality, and an RP sample. We like to make sure characters make sense, that their backstory is plausible, and that character traits that'd depend on their history are properly justified. It's certainly helped me, anyway. But like Coma said, post on the forum, use the chatbox, or PM some of us, and we'd be happy to help you settle in, if you give MBI another chance!

  5. Thanks, Elb So, doing a diff of the LG11 and LG19 rules: - aMalatium straight out tells you an action that they didn't use, rather than a hint. - Feruchemical tin now specifies that there it's the most recent 5 game-relevant words. Is that just clarification, or could you get complete nonsense last time? - Spectators who wish to be Mistwraith don't join the spectator doc. Most other changes are terminology related due to the setting. So basically unchanged.
