  1. Sure. I guess for me, that you can go through Daniel and Revelation, interpret elements in a consistent way, and have it discuss important political events, and the development of the Catholic church, as we can read on Wikipedia, or in a history book, is pretty neat.
  2. Well it certainly has more than a bit of political commentary, including stuff contemporary to the time it was written.
  3. Revelation doesn't really deal with which nations would be doing what - that's more Daniel and Ezekiel. But yes, Revelation is one place where the events of Armageddon are discussed. And no, no fixed date (unfortunately), although it certainly does indicate that something should have happened by the end of this century (but likely much sooner).
  4. A mix of Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 2, mostly. And probably a bit of Dan 11. The general idea being an expectation of Russia (Gog/King of the North) gaining significant power in Europe, and occupying areas in the middle east, particularly Israel, with Britain being more part of the King of the South/Merchants of Tarshish in opposition. So for that to really work, Britain couldn't really be tied to Europe through the EU, and if it left, it would make the EU more open to work with Russia.
  5. I'll see if I can think up any good ideas (not that finding employment is one of my skills... :/ ). Have you tried volunteering at places at all?
  6. What would you like to get into?
  7. Curious, was anyone else expecting the Brits to leave the EU based on bible prophecy?
  8. When you say no phone, that's more no smart phone, right? Talked with some elders who were presumably on mission a few years back, and they had a feature phone they used to keep in touch.
  9. Thoughts on ?
  10. For o.o, I'd probably use (;mellow;) or (one I made). is probably fine for O.o. I'll see what I can do for O.O
  11. Are ;blink; and ;huh; using colons instead of semicolons. I believe Chaos is open to changing them to O.o and o.O, but I think he's busy atm... I'll see what I can do.
  12. A bit longer than 5 minutes, sorry. And I'm not super happy with it. I think it needs eyebrows... And I'll see what I can do. What do you use that to mean? Because there is this one built in:
  13. Give me five minutes.
  14. I've heard of them! Good old Age of Empires and Robin Hood. And Bible Prophecy! No you were right - this was the next sentence, basically, in wikipedia:
  15. And the Edgedancer stuff should be in spoilers, right? Even in the cosmere theories? And obviously White Sand stuff should be spoilered outside of the whitesand subforum.
  16. If I was going to completly redo all the emoticons (Brandonify all the standard emotes, and all that), then vector graphics is probably the way to go. But I'm pretty sure that the low-res emotes on the site aren't just scalled down versions of the HD ones. The HD ones look like they could have been made as vector graphics, I suppose. But I digress. For the most part, the ones I've made have been made by basically taking elements from a couple of the existing emotes, sticking them together, and then doing some pixel edits as necessary. And I've got things like a blank circle emote template, or a template project for the annimated book ones now. Plus, I'm not sure if the forum is designed to use vector graphics. A question for Chaos, I think. I mean, if it did support vector graphics, then I'd be open to converting the current ones into vector format. Hmm... Now brandonifying the emotes would be cool... I'd need some suggestions for what to do with each emote, I think...
  17. If it's a microsoft (outlook, live, hotmail) email address, at least pre-update, there was some issue with using them.
  18. New one for the most recent book release:
  19. Try selecting all the text in the quote, and remove it by pressing backspace. Then press enter once to move out of the quote box. This should cause the box to collapse somewhat. Then backspace twice. That's the only way (desktop or mobile) that I can get a quote to disappear.
  20. I only now fully understood the joke, after all the times I've seen that comic and been amused. Over the duration of the class, was it the class which caused the change in opinion or was it something else? There is a correlation with the time spent doing the cause, and the change in opinion of correlation implying causation, which would have implied the cause of the change in opinion was the cause. But as a stats student, he knows that correlation doesn't necessarily imply causation, so it is possible that the class was irrelevant and there was some other reason he changed his mind. Of course, in this situation, if there was no other factor in that period of time which might have influenced the opinion, then you could conclude with a fair amount of certainty that it was most likely the course that caused the change.
  21. I find the best way to remove a quote is to first select and delete all the text inside. Then press enter to go to a new line - this causes the box to collapse somewhat. Then press backspace, and then it should disappear.
  22. Ah, that explains it. I'm running Windows 10, and the version I have doesn't have that option. Cool!
  23. What does it appear as under addons? Curious in case I run into this problem in the future, but I couldn't see anything in addons at a glance.
  24. Did you mean that it's still German? Anyway, I'm not sure... Right-clicking the textbox in Google Chrome gives me the option to change the Spell Check language, but that doesn't seem to be an option on IE, and I don't have Firefox installed atm...
  25. My suspicion is your system language has changed. Look at the bottom right hand corner of your screen, where the time/date and notification areas are. There should be a thing that says 'Deutch' or something indicating that it's set to the German language. That needs to be changed to English. Edit: Alternatively, try pressing "LeftAlt + Shift". That should cycle through the installed languages on your computer. Edit 2: Right, you don't want to change your system language... (Maybe I should actually have read all of what you said, hey?) Hmm... the shortcut should let you quickly swap between languages. I'll see if I can find anything better... Edit 3: Changing that is your input language as opposed to the system language that everything else would be displayed in, so I'm re-revising my response to being that's probably what you want to change...
