Pretty sure Renarins order is between else callers and stone wards. There is a line about else callers, light weavers and truth seekers and their link to the cognitive realm. The shared surge that is the link to the cognitive would be traveling.

Slivers of Odium (almost certainly spoilers and wild speculation)
Chlehrma replied to ArthurB's topic in Stormlight Archive
I am pretty certain that the unmade are slivers of odium. There was a quote at the start of one of the chapters that strongly alludes to this. -
Lopez is king of the herdazians. At the end of the book, Lopen is saying that he needs them to update the book to include another king. Also, there were five vorin kingdoms, but one vanished utterly and the Herdazians are Vorin in their own way.

[Full book spoilers] Hidden heralds in WoR?
Chlehrma replied to Everstorm's topic in Stormlight Archive
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 281018368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 490477872 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 I thought Shallan was drawing a metaphor for Jasnah making a simulacrum of herself. -
I think Shinintendo is correct. Either that or Roshone told them that both children had died after intercting Kaladin's letter about Tien. In either case, the reason that Kaladin did not receive any letters while in the army would continue to be because his parents thought him dead. His father probably became a drunk and his mother may even have taken some of the spheres and gone back to her family. I also wonder if Kaladin's father and mother have connections to any of the secret societies. I have to go back and reread the parts where they are talking about radients, heralds, and void bringers in the flashbacks from WoK.

They may have unknowingly been borrowing strength without realizing it. When they carried the bridge, I seem to recall some of them talking about how much lighter it had become.

Darkness follows the Law. By this I mean that he only kills surgebinders who are criminals. Lift, Ym interludes are very important in demonstrating his mindset. If someone made it illegal to be a parshmen, then maybe he might kill parshmen--since they do not surgebind, this is highly unlikely.Regardless, I think we have a chicken-egg issue. Does surgebinding bring the desolation or is it the intelligent spren moving into the world and forming bonds? Do the intelligent spren coving into the physical world cause the Unmade to stir or is it the actions of the Unmade that prompt the spren to return?

Shallan killed to protect. Adolin in a way did the same. There may still be an order out there for him. What I really want to see is what Shallan does when she finally figures out the Kaladin killed Helaran.

Shallan's order does not have a final ideal at can be expressed in words. For her to become a full KR she has to embrace the truth she has buried.

Well. We still do not know what kind of spren he has...and seeing the future is of Odium...so maybe he has bound a voidspren.
-
My guess is that their spren would be splinters. Stormfather, Nightwatcher, and Dawn?

In case anyone missed it in the first book, int he interlude Grump, Blunt, and Thinker are looking for Hoid. They describe him as having an arrow like face and white hair--but he sometimes dyes it.

I hear that WoR has been released in Japan. Now I just need to get a friend in Japan who speaks fluent english and who is also willing to read it to me...6.5 more hours...

I thought the spoilers on amazon were awesome! Especially the part when Kaladin armwrestles a Chasmfiend to win a Mac Truck. I never knew Kaladin looked like Rocky. It was awesome...wait...do we have different spoilers?

Dear GHM, We were sorry to hear about your family emergency and/or illness that required you to leave work early today. We hope you are feeling better soon--like in 1400 or so pages.

I do not think Amians get surges. I think they just live forever unless killed and can alter their bodies at will. The scourging had something to do with them being thought to be void bringers--possibly due to their shadows going the wrong way. Hopefully we will find out more in the upcoming books. It is my hope that Brandon keeps Axies alive.

If I donate a dollar can I be one of the cameos? Like when all you see from an extra in a movie is his elbow because he is just off screen? I could be one of the feet sticking out from beneath a fallen bridge.

Wait...Brandon is filling Bridge Four with his friends?! Sounds dangerous to be his friend...

Doubt it. Dalinar's wife is dead, Shallash is alive. Basil's mistress chapter.

Amaram is a goner. A few redshirts will probably die as well, just to move the plot along. I think someone important, like Adolin or Renarin, will be shard crippled, possibly killed but unlikely. And I hope we get to find out who moash and sigzil want to kill. I really hate auto correct.

So if the parshendi are the dawn singers, then they are also likely native to Roshar and may predate humans. This might mean that the "tranquiline halls" were actually Roshar prior to the appearance of humans and that the humans were actually the invaders that forced the parshendi into damnation to burn in a place that is hollow and forlorn. It might also explain why the dawn cities had a sound to their shape since the parshendi are a musical people.
