Hemalurgy isn't necessarily bad. A condemned murderer doesn't deserve to live, hence why they get capital punishment. If making a Hemalurgic spike benefits the community, and you make them from condemned criminals, it would be beneficial.

The 'Conflict' between Honorspren and Cryptics

How like Aes Sedai are honorspren? Telling the truth can be possible while still manipulating people.- 51 replies

Superpowers - Precognition and Cauthon-style Luck Weaknesses - Precognition loses power when I am genuinely suprised by the future I see - Luck goes away when gambling on the lives of insignificant cats Name- Omniscience Evil Manifests Itself in the form of extremely caustic and sarcastic comments. Unfortunately, this is a problem in real life when I am tired. Also, I have a inflated ego. Costume - Whatever I feel like. I am omniscient, so i should get to do whatever.

They may be only allowed to act according to their intent, but there is a bit of wiggle room there. the how of it isn't controlled directly. It's like their Intent is gravity. They have to go down, but how they get down is up to them, How fast, where to land, what to land on.

WOB says that one herald returned and picked up their Honorblade. Jezrien could be the one.

Yeah, definently not Mormon propaganda. I'm Mormon, and unless you consider including a God at all, I can't find any resemblence to our church. Best guess is Adonalsium. Hoid is another candidate you can't leave out.

Kurkistan found this on Twitter. Thank you Satsuoni. My read of this is that Peter is talking about stuff like how you can store the strength you get from Allomantic pewter in a pewtermind, but it could be hinting at something else. Any thoughts? Mainly I posted this for posterity's sake.

Feruchemically Storing Allomantic Effects
18th Shard replied to Kurkistan's topic in Events and Signings
Thanks Satsuoni! I'll quote that to the thread on Compounding. -
I talked about the possibilities here: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/4633-compounding-mechanics/ I think it's actually very simple. Hemalurgically steal someone's identity with (copper? maybe one of the unknown metals) and then stab them for the metalmind.

The Seer swings at the spot the Spinner is about to be, but trips on their mistcloak falling on their own glass dagger. Enough luck, and seeing the future seems lame.

Yes, but Feruchemist refers to a broader set of power sets. This has actually really annoyed me for a while. Metalborn... not really, um... Ferroborn?

I always thought of Spiritweb as sort of what your sDNA affected. Your spiritweb is the thing that the sDNA determines. It tells what Innate Investiture you have, but also other cognitive things. Hemalurgy takes someone's Innate Investiture bit and tacks it onto to yours. But you can take physical, or mental, or emotional attributes... Dang it, why do I have to be so good at destroying my own arguement?

Syl is an honorspren, which is a large category, or kingdom of spren. Cryptics are another group. Syl is probably the windspren kind of honorspren, or subset of honorspren that acts as a windspren

Baseless Speculation: Spheres, Stormlight and Money
18th Shard replied to Jaconis's topic in Stormlight Archive
I would like to reemphasize that they used Atium on Scadrial because of it's Allomantic potential. Rich people wore metal because they could. Same here. -
Who says it was Jasnah?
