Of, course, the multiple planets subsequently absorbed by the increasing star's mass causes it to shrink in size to a neutron star, and over the next few years accretes enough mass to overcome the neutron star's upper mass limit, resulting in ... a black hole!!! Odium plots revenge as his attempts to do anything with his Shardic power cause it to be added to the mass of the black hole, and only in this way does the balance of the cosmere reassert itself. Of course, Hoid was the Dakhor monk who sacrificed all of the others and jumped via Shadesmar to Scadrial, where he will slowly manipulate Harmony into adding his Shardworld to the cosmic black hole. Over time, Hoid will convince all the Shards into putting their planets into this black hole, causing Adonalsium to be reassembled due to the large amounts of gravity compressing the power of creation, and initiating a Big Bang in a galaxy far, far away.... Then Hoid uses the power of Adonalsium to create the Force.

Which Shardworld would you most like to live on?
18th Shard replied to TheShogun's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Scadrial. All of the other magic systems so far besides Feruchemy have a way to gain them without being born there. Born a feruchemist, use all of the others after I world hop. -

Words of Radiance Release Events
18th Shard commented on Chaos's article in Events, Signings, & Giveaways
While you're there, can you snag the copy of Words of Radiance? -
My only problem with this is the fact fabrials don't necessarily work with only one person, they work with all. Your Spiritweb isn't affected at all. I would say that fabrials can duplicate all of the 30 magical effects and a few more due to the nature of Stormlight, but it's not one of the three groups.

on page 380 of WOK when Dalinar feels the thrill. He suddenly has a "moment of clarity" where he realizes he must advance against the Parshendi. Assuming the Thrill is of Odium, this means that Odium wants Dalinar to attack the Parshendi, and stop Eshonai from communicating with him.

Dang it, focused on the palindrome and not the ketek... sigh. Back to the drawing board. Anyone else has ideas, I would love to see them! Edit: How do I change the title? I will change it to "the Search for the Perfect Ketek"
-
Not a ketek. I still win. Besides mine is Cosmere based. That has to be bonus points, right?

This doesn't work in Latin! There already isn't a word order, and they leave out most linking verbs!!!! -
Did Dalinar really give up his shard blade?
18th Shard replied to Chlehrma's topic in Stormlight Archive
He could have done it quickly. The guy Adolin beats up is astonished and in shock. -
Anyone else wish WoR flashbacks weren't Shallans?

Would Dalinar's have his wife's name? ... -
So the Honorblades can grant Surgebinding. They are symbolic of the Oathpact, the bond between Herald and Honor. Spren can grant Surgebinding. This creates a bond between the spren and the human. Theory (not mine, but there isn't a spot devoted to it in the forums alone): Shardblades are the representation of the oath between Radiants and their spren. During the Recreance, the Blades were given up, showing a giving up of the bonds between them and their spren. This is why spren are mad at humans, this is the great betrayal. Evidence: Besides obvious parallels, Honor said he was surprised by the spren when they mimicked the bonds between him and the Heralds.

Theory: Shardblades Barely Harm Infused Surgebinders
18th Shard replied to Moogle's topic in Stormlight Archive
Scadrial is an iffy one, because none of the magic systems require the holding of Investiture; koloss and kandra are maybe the closest thing to a being that holds a Shard's power, and in them it boosts physical and mental ability respectively. Boosts koloss mentally?!!! -
If you lower your identity really low, it may be at sentient humanoid. So not gone just really low.

id est is i.e. however, ipsum and id are both pronouns which can be translated as it or that (or occasionally what, or...) Latin Nerd stuff aside, sufficient breath can teach you Awakening, it just might not be as instinctive. You would still need to see others do it to be effective. Vivenna took forever to learn without Vasher teaching her. -
My interpretation of the question was, if two Awakeners imbdue Breath into a shawl, then one tries to awaken it, what happens?

Doesn't Elhokar say he saw things in mirrors? Twisted shapes? Probably a spren, maybe a cryptic.

LDS Influences on Themes (Theology Time)

That's true -
Can you get massive amounts of a feruchemical power by swallowing a metalmind, beginning to burn it, then burning duralumin? Hmmm, compounding without compounding...

They may be only allowed to act according to their intent, but there is a bit of wiggle room there. the how of it isn't controlled directly. It's like their Intent is gravity. They have to go down, but how they get down is up to them, How fast, where to land, what to land on. Edit: That's me speaking, I don't need to quote that.

Just as an aside note, Mormons do believe God has a physical body. However, being God, we should not expect that he is forced to conform to many laws of science.
