Sorry I haven't been active, I've been busy with college homework, so I haven't had a chance to analyze much. Here's what I've got. The teams aren't going to be concentrating on Kandra in the beginning. We suspect that there are 2 or 3 of them, which makes it difficult to find them. This game reminds me a lot of the first Mid-Range. In that game, I stayed alive easily by only posting seldom to the group doc. I haven't found any one like that in the Set, although Peng is as quiet as me. I'll place my vote on red: Peng, if only because I want to tie up the votes.
-
I'm already having flashbacks to the first Mid-Range Game. We need to concentrate on killing kandra, but we really don't have enough information to do so. I'm going to say, red: No Vote.
-
Oh, what the heck, you need another person, so I might as well sign up. I guess I'll be Satrams, the lazy man always complaining about the riots, but never doing anything to stop them.

Hey guys, sorry to interrupt the roleplay, but I just realized that this thread existed. I've talked with people in Sanderson Elimination, and I've gotten friend codes from them for Hearthstone, I won't post theirs, but it would really help to have one place where people can make new friends in Hearthstone, especially since that game is completely free. Here's my user name: asmartguy#1206 I hope to battle you guys soon!

Well, good job guys. To be honest, I completely forgot to send in my night actions for the next cycle; I was also considering taking up Gamma's RP. I heavily suspected Ashiok of being the other Windrunner, but I didn't attack him last cycle because I feared that he would be protected. In other news, I think I know why this game and the previous one went so poorly for the Eliminators: Too many protective roles, and inherited roles. First, the people the eliminators needed to kill were protected, and we couldn't do anything about it. Yes, I suppose we could have guessed better, but there were only so many targets available to us. Secondly, the Windrunners could create more protection. The whole point of killing good guys, besides winning the game, is to get rid of powerful players. When you can just create more powerful ones, it makes the game unbalanced. Hopefully my Mid-Range Game (coming soonish) will address these issues, while still having these mechanics in play.

Sorry about not responding to the thread. I was going to, but then I got busy with real life. I continued to vote for Ashiok because I wanted to see if anyone in the Squire doc would want to talk me out of it. Yes, I am a squire. I won't say my lashing, but it's not that great. Here's what I've learned from that little experience. The other squires have no idea who to vote for. That's not that bad, but it means we're going to have a large pool of suspects. Let's end the game quicker, shall we? I'm voting for red: Quismet. I don't think you've done anything wrong, but we need to take out some people who are suspicious.

I sent Jerric his message. I thought it would be cool since it was a ketek. Anyways, other than that, I've only received one Hearthstone message, and I haven't sent out any others, mostly because college was being crazy. Anyways, I'll keep my vote on Aladdin for right now, mainly because a lynch will give us more information.
-
What? Ashiok, you're avoiding the question. So my vote is red: Ashiok. Honestly, Meta died because of a simple coincidence. However, coincidences are the most powerful part of this game. Nothing is insignificant, and claiming to be the Truthwatcher is not good. Ashiok, stop playing madly.

Fortunately, we're lucky when it comes to eliminator kills. Unfortunately, we can't tell what alignment Meta is, mostly because the Skybreakers will try to frame him if we don't lynch him today. I have to wonder why there wasn't a Second Kill though. There's only 3 options. The second Skybreaker was either inactive, using Reverse Lashings, or stunned. Honestly, we shouldn't wait on this. I vote for red: Meta.

Gart looked calmly at the sea, and sighed. He was far from home, but he didn't mind. Sure, he might have been nervous about his future, but he was doing the Herald's work. He had to convert the people. A desolation was coming, and they needed the blessings of the heralds. He wondered who he should try to convert first. Perhaps that crazed preacher would work? Gart assumed he would be an easy convert, but that might backfire on him. He sighed, and went back to praying. Hopefully the Heralds knew what to do. For some reason I can't do color on this computer right now, so pretend this is blue. I'm glad I got more time to RP, but I'm still not sure how active I'll be. Well, if college is anything like today, I should have more time to participate.
-
I've been busy with real life, so I haven't been active recently. I have to say, I like Jerric's idea, although it does rely on one message actually going through. I don't have any suspicions at this point, and I'll try to RP when I have more time.

Hi guys, I'm going to be the next Mid-Range GM. I'm updating the rules for my Rithmatist game to balance the game. Once again, changes are in bold.
-
I'm hesitant to join this one since I'm going to college this weekend, but you need another member, so here goes nothing. I won't be that active, but I'll try to check in on occasion. Gart wasn't too concerned about the man pickpocketing him. He was mostly penniless anyways. He was a lot more concerned with the voice coming from the heavens. It was the Stormfather himself. He knelt in prayer bowing toward the sky. He was an ardent, and he had heard his God.

"Well gents, I hope you're happy." Asyr strode calmly toward the door. He stopped before exiting, and turned to face the crowd, calling for his execution. He supposed it was inevitable. He had known that a House Lord would have had his background checked out sooner or later. Honestly, he was rather surprised that it had taken them this long. He knew that his father had been Skaa from an early age. Most people assumed that his mother had a Noble lover, or even that she was raped. She never told them the truth; that she had fallen in love with one of the laborers, and had sex with him. Was it any wonder that his step-father had the man executed quietly? He hated that man. He could still recall the beatings that had accompanied his visits. He could hear that wretched noble saying he wasn't worthy, that he was only there because his mother hadn't given him a child yet. He thanked the Lord Ruler that his "father" had been born infertile. Still, the beatings hurt. The anger hurt. The whip on his skin that last time had hurt. The coin that he pushed into his father, hurt more. People whispered that he killed his father to gain the House. He let those rumors thrive. Asyr was a bitter old man. He was not afraid to show his displeasure, and was known as a force to be reckoned with. His incomes tripled, and he became the head of a Great House. He let his House members have their privacy, and they let him have his. He supposed he should be grateful for that. After all, how else was he going to smuggle Skaa out of the city if he had Nobles prying into his business at every turn? He grinned, for he had alerted them after the votes had turned to him. By now, they were somewhere out in the country; he didn't know where so the Inquisitor couldn't find them. He smiled sardonically. They had been a great team while it had lasted. He was the leader, orchestrating the killings, and supplying much needed resources. There was the elderly Racine, monitoring their meetings, making sure no prying eyes were watching. Wandrin, the lazy soother, calmed the skaa's fear, ensuring fresh recruits. Asyr missed them both. At least the last member was still alive. He hoped they would be alright, though he doubted they would live much longer. He realized he was getting caught up in day dreams. He was old, and it had some privileges. He addressed his audience once again. "You're all children. You play your little Noble games, not realizing the lives you hurt. You are scum. I would hate you, but instead I pity you. You'll tear each other apart. It's already happening. You've already murdered innocents. How long do you think it will take until this will become a house war? No, it already has. I hope you're happy with your ill gotten gains. Do you think the Lord Ruler cares about you? He knows you can be replaced. And so I say to him, Lord Heron, Inquisitor Belmark, and the whole lot you: go to Hell." He calmly pushed against the door, and flew out the room. His tears were his only companion.

Well, I have to admit it is a little strange that no one in my house has been killed. However, there's an obvious reason for this: both of my housemates are fairly inactive. I assume the Skaa are focusing on major threats, which would explain why my house hasn't been killed yet. Since they haven't figured out who my teammates are yet, I assume that my house is clean. Of course, I could be wrong, but I doubt it for other reasons. I also assume that they killed Rengar because he was a Tineye. However, this is complicated by the fact that he submitted this information to the informant. I received that information last night, and his death verifies it. So, who asked about Rengar, and do we know when he submitted this information?

Huh. That didn't turn out the way I expected. I was going to warn us about not bandwagoning, but there is now overwhelming evidence to support this. So, Wandrin, any last words? Also, Jain, I'm still suspicious of you, but that can wait.

Thanks for the clarification Rengar. Still, it is odd. Especially since I never targeted her. That can only mean one thing: there is a third coinshot, and for whatever reason, he/she targeted Theorymaker. However, right now I'm most suspicious of Jain. He voted for Tonul on Day 3, and he tried to distract us with music on Day 2, so we wouldn't vote for his teammate.

Meta is right. Tonul oddly changed the votes on Day 1, and gave the skaa information that they shouldn't have learned on Day 2. Plus we're running the danger of vote manipulation. Therefore I vote Tonul Venture is in fact a Skaa.

First, let's get a vote chart up. luckat (2): Tulir, Ashiok New One(1): Renegade Ashiok(1): Araris Valerian Tulir(1): Metacognition Well, that's not good. We seem to be debating a lot, but not actually voting for anyone. That leaves us susceptible to vote manipulation. @Ashiok: Yes, the new house lord would be revealed, but what good would that do? If they're skaa, we just gave them a house power. Even if they aren't skaa, they are vulnerable to attack during the night.

You're probably right. I was just looking for answers, and I figured the shooter knew something. Now that we know that LeftInch did in fact recieve a PM, things are a lot clearer.

Aonar's right about one thing. This is really funky. Let's lay out some scenarios: Leffinch is telling the truth. There was no message. If Cat is lying about the message, she was trying to frame Twei. That can only mean one thing: House politics. She just happened to get lucky, and the person she was trying to frame was actually Skaa. If everyone else is telling the truth, then there's only two possibilities: EITHER: None of the information was from the GM. That would require a very specific lie, which could be easily disproved. Very Doubtful. OR: All of the information was GM facts. This would only occur if the message didn't go through, which would imply that a Blanket Soothe hit Twei. If Leffinch isn't telling the truth, it gets more complicated. He might have accidentally deleted the message or Wyrmhero could have messed up. Somehow, I doubt that happened. Twei shot him a note, but he isn't telling us to create confusion. Why? It's unlikely, and it just creates chaos. He is Skaa, and another Skaa sent him a note. This scenario makes absolutely no sense! The Skaa have a private Google Doc, so they wouldn't need to send messages to each other. In short, the only reason why Cat or LeftInch would lie is due to politics, which makes me hesitant to trust them. I don't think they would do that this earlier on, but I could be wrong. If they are both telling the truth, someone hit Twei randomly with a Blanket Soothe. So I have three questions. Who is in House Morinthe? I would guess Aonar based on his hinting, but I would like confirmation of that. Who targeted that House? If no one did, then we're in danger of splitting apart at the seams. Also, who shot Twei? Aonar stated that Twei was injured during the day.

Theorymaker: I wanted to reply, but my laptop randomly shut down. I need to have it looked at. I've switched to a different computer for right now. To answer your question, I shot Meta. I wasn't sure of his allegiance, and I didn't want such a powerful player with the skaa. Ashiok: I think Twei is in the same house of Aonar. It would explain how he knew the results of the night action. I'm voting for [color: red] QuiteLeftInch [/color]. Cat and Twei could both be innocent, and be getting set up by him.

Someone has to be lying about the informant here. Let's look at the options. Twei is lying. (I am a Tineye): That's definitely a possibility, but there are some other options. Rengar is lying (Twei is a Skaa): Why the heck would he lie about something like this? If Twei is innocent, it would immediately blow up in his face. Unlikely. Tulir is lying. (Twei is a Tineye): Well, Twei has claimed that he is a Tineye, so that makes Tulir's story more convincing. However, Tulir could have learned about that (if he's evil) from another Skaa. Luckat is lying (Twei targeted QuiteLeftinch): This seems the most suspicious. We'll need Quite to confirm her story. There's three possibilities. Either Twei is a Skaa, Quite told Luckat about the message and Luckat is skaa, or Quite and Luckat are both Skaa) One of these 4 is a Skaa. Here's what we need to figure out. First, why did three different people decide to ask the informant about Twei? What was the reason you guys did so? Second, Aonar, how do you know that Racine was coinshot? No one has mentioned that in the thread. We need to get to the bottom of this.

Heron was a political genius. First, he killed Quitania in a well orchestrated scheme. Next, he framed the skaa for the murder, so that he could get away scotch free. Third, he let the nobles accuse each other of being skaa, and watched them kill each other. That man had started a house war. Asyr was not going to let him get away with it. "Alright, does anyone want to confess? No? Fine." He sat down, and took a long drink of wine. It was going to be a long day. I don't have any suspicions right now. Let's see where the voting goes.

Sorry I haven't been very active. I've been getting distracted with Hearthstone. Lord Asyr sighed. Lord Heron had started a House War, on the pretext of hunting down skaa. Tuy scoffed at that notion. It was ridiculous that those creatures could pretend to be noble. He sighed again. If there was to be war, he would come out on top. Besides, they might even kill some skaa along the way.
