I should have listened to my gut.

Working on it. The Mark vote is doing nothing. My gut is telling me to kill TUF, but my brain is saying no. I don't think there would be two Elims in Brown. On the other hand, that Quokka picture felt like it had no soul behind its eyes. Won't be shocked if he flips evil, but I won't vote it. Going with the candidate I'm most suspicious of. The vibes are just bad on ThatOneWorldhopper. He's firing randomly, and I can see a world where that kills Teldris.

Might as well do a vote count while I'm here. Vote Count: TUF (1): BridgeBoi Mark (2): Sart, Kasimir TOW (3): Terrisman, TwinStorm, Illwei Aeternum (2): Ashbringer, TUF STINK (1): Aeternum Twinstorm (2): Steeldancer, TOW No Vote (5): DrakeMarshall, Mark, STINK, Jo, Wiz

Kas: Suspects me Also Kas: Follows my vote two times in a row Not sure how to respond to this hostility. Despite our differences in style, we arrived at the same conclusion. Mark needs a closer look at. He's also been suspiciously quiet today. He has logged on to the Shard, but no posts. I know it's keeping my vote parked but a poke doesn't work if you just retract it without them saying anything.

Stealing Kasimir's vote count formatting, just updating it slightly: There's an incentive for Black Ajah Sitters to bus teammates in this game. Much easier to get elected if you've killed an evil player. So, I'll be less suspicious of players who are not seated and voted for Polly. That means Wizard, Ash, and Gaea are all looking fairly good. @The Unknown Flame, it seems likely that you'll be getting executed. You have 48 hours though, so impress me. What arguments do you have? In the interest of spurring discussion, I'm going to go against the grain here. Mark IV. I really disliked your last post in Day 1. Felt like an Elim not caring about end of day shenanigans. At that point, Polly was tied with Drake, but Polly hadn't put their vote down anywhere. I could see an Elim teammate not being too concerned, and building an off ramp for the train. Drake's train wasn't really sustainable, due to his inactivity, and Kasimir was very vocal, and thus not an appetizing target. Putting a vote on someone with only one vote could give Polly a more desirable target to land on. @Mark IV Care to disagree?

Working on vote analysis, but noticed something that needs fixing. @|TJ| Fix your player list please. It still has Experience listed instead of Aeternum.

I view killing as a respectful gesture. If you've done something worthy of killing, that means you're doing great in your first game. However, this wasn't my doing. It would be flattering if this was an attempt to frame me. I'm wondering if this was a mechanical kill. Surprised they didn't go after Gaea at that point though.

Unclear. I nominate Steeldancer. More thoughts to come, but rollover is at an awkward time for me, so have a quick nomination for voting out a traitor.

Polly was not of the Green. Given the conversation before their execution, Sartala suspected Polly was in the Brown Ajah. She had no proof of this, but it seemed likely.

Sartala stopped in her tracks. Altea's words sent alarm bells ringing in her head. Why tie the vote this early? She acknowledged that it would change, then why do it? There was no logic behind it, other than a minor pressure from Emmett. And if they found Mark IV and Kas more suspicious, why not vote for one of them? Try to get the ball rolling, and profit from the tide. And then to top it off, Altea shared information, because it seemed like everyone else was doing it? That felt like trying to blend in. She didn't want to penalize people from expressing their opinion and voting, but this seemed off. xxGaea

Are you playing to win, or are you playing not to lose? Our win condition, our only win condition, is to eliminate all Black Ajah. It does not matter whether they are Sitters or not. In my mind, this election is a distraction. Does anyone among us believe that any candidate will receive a majority vote any time soon? One of our six candidates would have to accumulate nine votes. That's not going to happen any time soon. Quite frankly, I don't want the Seat to be elected. Period. What benefit does it give us? We receive a single cycle where we have a confirmed good player with an extra vote. The Black Ajah though? They get several opportunities to win outright. And even if we successfully avoid the worst case, they get a free kill on the Seat as they get removed. My goal for the election is to prolong it as long as possible. I would suggest outright ties every cycle, but I find that unrealistic. As we nominate, there will naturally be a close race. Untrustworthy Sitters will be Stilled, moving them into the pool of suspects. This battle, in the day, is our only way to win. You ask how I was elected. Let me be clear. It was pure inactivity. Only one person actually voted, and I presume they voted for me because I rambled for a bit in the doc at the start of the Night. There was tentative discussion of going to random chance, but I missed rollover and did not vote. Perhaps a poor way to be elected, but I'm trying to make the most of it.

Sartala strode confidently into the hall. As the Sitter of the Green, it was important to make a good first impression. She stretched her muscles, making sure everything was in working order. They were at war, and one had to be decisive. The Black Ajah would stop at nothing to defeat them. While she could not trust the other Sitters, that was not where her focus needed to be. They were, like her, immune to this proceeding. Instead, they had to focus on their attendants. To ease discussion, she would separate them into two lists. Attendants: Sitters: Now that the battlefield was clear, it was time to form a strategy. She considered attacking someone who hadn't been paying attention. That was perhaps the expected move, but it was hypocritical. She had spent too much time hashing out plans within her own Ajah. For her paranoid ramblings, she had been named Sitter. Perhaps it spoke more to her teammates taciturn nature than anything else. It was an honor, but now she needed to live up to that expectation. Staying quiet in public wouldn't work any more. Hypocritical or not, it was time everyone spoke publicly. To that end, Experience @Experience had also not contributed yet. It was time to test the defenses.

I'd love to be in this, but I'll have to take a pinch hitter role. Can't join due to a vacation. If the game starts on March 10th or later, you can upgrade me to full player.

The remaining passengers debated amongst themselves. Realizing that Shadow was copying them, Aeoryi sprung into action tackling them. With Aeoryi's assistance, they threw the shade out of the transport. Clearly, whatever was possessing them was not human, and the human survivors scored another victory. As they did so, the transport finally course corrected. They had done it! They had eliminated the Aliens. Kidpen's sacrifice would not be in vain, as the three survivors set off back to Terra Firma. Vote Count: shadow1 (2): Aeoryi, Aeternum The Unknown Order (1): shadow1 @shadow1 has died! They were an Alien Cyto Adept. The game is over! The humans have eliminated all Aliens. Players: Docs:

Everyone was amazed, if slightly baffled, by Kidpen's ingenious deduction. Sadly, that painted a target on his back. In the span of an instant, he suddenly started gushing blood, a deep wound in his chest. Despite his expertise in medicine, he could not staunch the bleeding. Within minutes, he was dead. No one knew who was to blame, but this confirmed their fears. They were not alone, and they were trapped with a killer among them. @Kidpen has died. He was a Human Medic. This cycle will end in 24 hours, on Friday at 8 PM Central Time. Please get your votes in. Players:

This Night is ending in 2.5 hours. In the original posting, I said it would end on Friday, and that was my bad. Following the rules, days and nights are 24 hours long.

The six passengers stewed in relative silence. Then, Kidpen blurted out, "Where is the Raven?" The Raven muttered something halfheartedly, but Kidpen was unconvinced. He realized that the Raven was holding a separate conversation: a mental conversation. Clearly, this could only be the work of an Alien. He quickly took action, forcing the bird through the airlock. Given that the Raven had feathers, this was obviously the correct choice, but the spaceship was continuing it's course. There must be another Alien aboard. @TheRavenHasLanded has died! They were an Alien Phone Company Operator. This Night will end at 8 PM CST on Thursday. That's slightly less than 24 hours, so get your actions in! Players:

On the outpost of Europa 73, a shuttle was lifting off. Six complete strangers were huddled inside. The platform had quickly become a warzone, as aliens were revealed to be infiltrating the place. The six strangers glanced at each other nervously. Had they truly escaped the madness? No, of course not. The autopilot was not acting correctly. They were supposed to be fleeing to the relative safety of the Inner Ring. Instead, their course had been diverted, heading deeper into the solar system. Clearly, aliens were at fault. Ironically, it had been election day as they had departed. Apparently, they would be holding a much more deadly form of one. This Day will end in 24 hours. Get your votes in! Players:

Welcome to Quick Fix 73. This is a game set in the distant past of the Cytoverse. You can read more about that time period in the free online story, Defending Elysium Setting: In the Outer Platforms of our solar system, the scandal of the century has occured. Alien dissidents have infiltrated humanity, in order to steal our advanced military technologies. On the quiet outpost of Europa 73, an all out brawl breaks out. Humanity has recently begun exploring the technique of Psyonics, but it is still in its infancy. In such a paranoid environment, it may be used for help or for harm. Either way, what happens here will shape the future of the galaxy going forward. Rules: For convenience sake, here's a link to the official doc. Players: Signups will end on November 5th at 8 PM CST.

I could probably run my QF, but I have a problem. The original version of this game was themed to Defending Elysium. Back when the original version was ran, I read the original story, and that was that. Nowadays though, it's tied to the Skyward series of books. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to reading any of them, so I don't know if my game would be canon. I suppose there's a couple of options. I could go on a binge read, provided I find the books, but that will take time. I could also re-theme the game, but it came about from Cytonics so that seems less than ideal. I think the best approach is to get a co-GM that's actually read the series. That way I can do compliance, while still getting the game up and running.

LG 102: Aftermath - Sacrifice and Heartbreak
Sart replied to Araris Valerian's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You know, I was feeling guilty killing TUO. Well, guess who had the gun Day 1? RNG just wasn't kind to me. That's unfortunate.
