  1. No, no. You just remind the kid that you know where they live and that you will be VERY angry should their parents find out, and you'll be fine.
  2. What would that look like?"You're our 1 000 000th VISITOR! Click HERE to COLLECT your prize of AGELESSNESS, GODLIKE powers of ANIMATING OBJECTS, and SUPERPOWERED COLOUR - and LIFE SENSE"
  3. Burn both bendalloy and Cadmium at once, with the cadmium bubble smaller, so you can trap them in a ring of fast time?
  4. Hello, Mr. Undead Walking Divine Warthog!
  5. I owned a rather interesting rock, once.
  6. One thousand years later - AtiumCompoundingFeather: And...we're finished A Memory of Light. The purpose of my life has been fulfilled. I can sleep now. Do I remember how to sleep? Light above, I'm so...tired. Why can't I sleep? ...why?
  7. Yes. Also, maybe are you thinking of a Cadmium bubble?
  8. I'm something of a crier for hire.
  9. Mana. Enchantment. Power, magical energy - on the small scale it powers Allomancy, Surgebinding, etc. On the large scale, it's the tool of pluripotence used by a Shard. Leave a large enough chunk of it alone for long enough, and it turns sentient - Splinters such as spren or seons. Shape it with a magic system and you get an effect. Each Shard seems to have distinctive Investiture, or maybe it's just the way they shape it that's different. Any Shardworld with a magic system is Invested by one or more Shards or significant Splinters. On the scale of a Shard, directed by a mind, it's a massive amount of power, enough to craft planets from the void. Shardic Investiture seems to recycle, getting used and escaping back to the Shard, but there are possible uses that attach restrictions or semipermanent expenditures to a Shard, such as Investing a Shardworld.
  10. Nope. The "I" is the subject, not the dry grapes

    Wayne?

There's nothing explicitly against it. However, I got the impression the Allomancy genes kind of break up the feruchemy genes, applying the "one metal only" modifier. I wonder, if a lerasium Mistborn had a child by a Feruchemist, would it likely be both a Feruchemist and Mistborn?

  13. I'm just imagining an Inquisitor whamming his face on a drum set, Raoden dressed like Freddy Mercury, and Shallan laughing maniacally as stop-motion illusion chasmfiends run through the mosh pit.Seriously, an Inquisitor playing the drums with his eyespikes. I find this extremely amusing.
  14. I think you'd more or less become a walking death star laser level artillery turret with cancer on Ashyn. The novel would have to be renamed to "The Fault in Our Star, and How We Put It There"
  15. You could do some excellent death metal with that, though. For example, imagine having a guitar pick that literally contains a piece of someone's soul.
  16. First of all, love it. Second - sorry for the critism - Shallan's freehand arm looks kind of - bent, like in a 3D model where the joints are twisting oddly. The faces, lighting, composition, lighting, colour, and detail are spectacular, though. I'm probably just grouchy cause I'm sick.
  17. Feather: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Renarin: ... :\
  18. I like to take with me things that look like dry grapes.
  19. Well, I'll give a try certainly. If it's unmanageable for me, my character can have a tragic accident.
  20. What if there's war paint - masculine magic - and makeup - feminine magic. The main character discovers that he/she can only use the opposite gender's power, or can can use both? What if such a thing is highly tabboo, to the point that the culture of those capable of both magics operate entirely in secret?
  21. Give it a year or so. By then, he'll have successfully conditioned the entire forum into doing whatever he says, by sticking back doors onto our souls.
  22. That's not the case with Feruchemy - it's genetic, and requires no Snapping. Besides, Elantris is a bit odd, given the giant focus. Maybe you do need a soul crack when the entire force of the Dor isn't knocking at the door.
