  1. There is no vote manip in this game (intentionally).
  2. Once again, the skaa were hesitant to outright kill one of their number based on suspicions alone. As the day crept to a close, it seemed that 3 parties were chiefly suspected; Illwei, Ven, and Tara. Before a decision could made, a nobleman's carriage rounded a nearby corner and barreled through the gathered skaa, heedless of any injury it caused. When the dust cleared, several skaa were nursing wounds, and Ven's chest was staved in where one of the horses had trampled it. Deciding that nobody else should die, the skaa searched through Ven's things for any sort of connection to the Ministry. Within Ven's coat were found a couple of vials of Steel along with a list of names, some of which were crossed off, and all of which were initial members of the group meeting to hunt the Ministry Agents. The group agreed that Ven was certainly responsible for some of the recent murders, and spirits were high, at least for skaa, as the crowd headed off to their individual homes. Just as the skaa were beginning to disperse, Steel rounded the corner, huffing. "I'm pretty sure Ven is not a spy. Tara..." Steel paused to catch his breath. "Tara is who I think we should kill today." His pronouncement was met with an awkward silence. The Gods of Luck and Chance have spoken! Devotary was a Ministry Agent Child Coinshot! Night 4 has begun, and will end on Wednesday at 6:00 PM EDT. Vote Count: Player List:
  3. Current VC: Devotary (3): Mat, TJ, Squirrel Tani (1): Illwei Squirrel (1): Tani
  4. The cycle ends in just under 5 hours, so make sure to get your votes in!
  5. The Skaa win condition is explicitly to kill all the Ministry Agents. If there were no Ministry Agents left alive I would have called the game.
  6. Esooa had never gotten used to working out in the mists. There were mistwraiths out there. Some even said that if you ventured out in the mists at night that you would become a mistwraith. Esooa was mostly sure that at least that much of the stories was false. Mostly sure. Clearing out bodies in the night long enough tended to dispel many of the superstitions held by the skaa, but skaa held a lot of superstitions. For Esooa, it turned out not to matter. Van couldn't make out the coin that slew Esooa, but he did see the body crumple to the ground. He'd been tailing the fellow for a while, part of a deal with Arenta to cover his dues. The blasted woman had made him pay extra for that building he'd blown up! And that was only partly my fault. Darn nobility don't pay for decent building materials. He was still living in the wreck, out of which he'd at least salvaged enough material for a decent shelter. That would all changed as soon as he reported the news of Esooa's murder. There were some fairly influential skaa, as far as skaa were influential, who were willing to pay good money for a lead on the Ministry spies. Van hurried to the corner where his first meeting for the night was planned. Along the way, he smeared ash across his face and affixed a patch over one eye. It paid to be careful in his line of work. Shortly after Van arrived, a cloaked figure stepped out of the mists to meet him. Their voice was muffled slightly by the mists. "What news do you have of the Ministry spies that are rumored to be running about these parts?" Van held out his hand in reply, and the figure grunted before tossing a sack of clips over. Van hefted the bag, then tucked it under his cloak. "Well, you see sir, I just stumbled across a killing that must have been by one of those spies. One of the night workers was killed by a coin." And Van fished the bloody clip out of his pouch. "See? This here's as good proof as your going to get." The client frowned at the coin, then at Van. "I guess this is why informants don't live too long. Eventually, they always learn something you don't want them to know." The coin flew out of Van's grip, slamming into his chest. Van grunted, and then cried out as a dozen more coins sprayed from the cloaked figure's hand and struck his body. As Van's vision went black, he felt more than saw the coins being yanked back out of his body, followed by the killer's mutters. "Don't want to leave any more... proof... lying around these parts." Dalinar was a Skaa Informant! Esooa was a Skaa Night Crew worker! Day 4 has begun, and will end Tuesday at 6:00 PM EDT. Player List:
  7. The Night has ended! Check back in a bit to see who is still alive!
  8. After Eron was killed, Arenta made sure to be the one to look over his body. After all, Coinshots always carried coins on their person, and Arenta had some very legitimate looking papers that showed Eron owing her a fair share of money. Not that anyone else in the mob could read them. After confiscating the small sack of clips she'd found, Arenta's further search of the body didn't discover any evidence of a connection with the Ministry. This was mildly surprising, since skaa Mistings were rare, after all, while rumor held that many Obligators were at least Mistings. I suppose that's just bad luck for him, and good for me. Archer was a Skaa Overseer Coinshot! Night 3 has begun, and will end at 6:00 PM EDT on Sunday the 11th. Vote Count: Player List:
  9. And that's the end of the turn!
  10. Airam double-checked that Kion was loaded before heading to bed. The day had been taxing, and Arenta hadn't done anything to help. She'd been at his shop late to bother him about some debt she was convinced he owed her. After all that, plus the whole Ministry business, it was quite easy to fall asleep. Partway through the night, Airam woke to shouts in the street outside. The noise appeared to be converging towards his home, so he grabbed Kion, checking again that a bolt was primed to fire. Suddenly, a figure burst through the door, and by reflex Airam pulled the trigger. The bolt struck the intruder in the shoulder, eliciting a howl of pain as the figure was knocked to the floor. Airam lit a candle and was shocked when he saw a familiar face. "Blast it all Leek! What in the Lord Ruler's name are you doing here? What were you doing out in the mists in the first place?" Leek's response was slow as he fought through the growing pain. "Coinshot. Wasing doing the chasing. Ising the needing of hiding in here." Airam knelt closer, trying to unravel the eastern street slang while also getting a closer look at the bolt lodged in Leek's shoulder. "Who was chasing you?" A new voice spoke softly in Airam's ear. "Funny you should ask that..." Kasimir was a Skaa Metallurgist! Elkanah was a Skaa Child! Day 3 has begun, and will end at 6:00 PM EDT on Saturday, September 9th. Player List:
  11. And the cycle is closed! Once again don't send any PMs until the day is posted.
  12. There are just under 2 hours left in the cycle, so make sure to get your actions in!
  13. Without any further action from the Ministry, the skaa were somewhat directionless. Accusations were retracted just as rapidly as they were made, and it didn't seem like they would reach a conclusion. Attention briefly turned to Ill Way for her near death the day prior, but as the sun began to set, she and Eron diverted everyone's attention, and then killed Em. After rifling through Em's things, it was determined that she had held a relatively privileged position at a nearby textile mill, but nothing linked her to the Ministry. Now she was just another dead skaa on the streets, body abandoned as the crowd fled the coming mists. Frozen Mint was a Skaa Overseer! Night 2 has begun and will end at 6:00 PM EDT. Please welcome @Condensation to the game; she is replacing Steel moving forward. Vote Count: Player List:
  14. Okay, cycle is closed! Night will go up in a bit, and remember, no PMing between turns.
  15. Just a reminder that cycle closes in around 80 minutes, so make sure to get your actions/votes in!
  16. You do realize the game is tagged with PM unsafety, right?
  17. As the last vestiges of the mists melted away in the dawn, skaa workers began exiting their homes to go to the forges and mills that kept the Final Empire running. Surprisingly, there had been no further murders (aside from a few casual killings by the local nobility), and even Arenta had to admit that there was no sign of Ministry activity. Despite that, talk was still rampant about who might be an obligator spy, and it seemed likely that some skaa were still willing to take matters into their own hands. No one has died! Day 2 has begun, and will end at 6:00 PM EDT on Wednesday the 8th. Just a reminder, if your location has been changed, you will not be notified unless you are a Child. Player List:
  18. There's just under half an hour left in the cycle, so make sure to get in any actions you plan to use!
  19. There's a role for that, actually.
  20. Despite the unfortunate name, Also Nameless was one of the most vocal skaa of those that responded to Arenta's claims of Ministry spies. He immediately began accusing several notable skaa workers of having potential ties with the obligators. Others, however, thought this was an Ill Way to proceed. The small mob of skaa seemed unable to decide what to do, until Ven thrust a rusty knife between Also's ribs. Some of the skaa began to mutter about the killing, before noticing that the mists were beginning to form around them. That was enough to end the gathering and send everyone scurrying back to their homes. Azmine was a Skaa Informant living in (just kidding, you don't get to know this). Night 1 has begun, and will end at 6:00 PM EDT. Additionally, I want to clarify things since a bunch of people seem a little confused about the rules. Say Aralis is a Coinshot and he targets Fade while guessing location X. If Fade is in location X, Fade will die (without considering other possible players' actions) and Aralis will still have 2 charges of his Coinshot ability. If Fade is not in location X, the kill won't succeed (and Fade won't even know he was attacked). Aralis will have only a single charge of his ability left. Some other things: All location abilities happen after all Allomantic abilities Location abilities are once per game, barring an Elder using their ability Location scans go before location moves, so they cannot be guaranteed to accurate by the end of the Night Vote Tally: Player List
  21. And the Day is over! The Night turn will be posted shortly. Also, don't send messages/start new PMs between rollover and the new turn.
  22. There are 8 minutes left! Current vote tally (ish): Azmine (4): Mat, Archer, Steel, Esooa Mat (1): TUO Mint (1): Kas Illwei (3): Chantara, Mint, TJ Dalinar (1): Illwei Elkanah (1): Squirrel Esooa (1): Azmine Tani (1): Elkanah
  23. She's a combination of Rent, Renegade's AG1 character, and Aralis, my AG1 character, that I used for Kas's Fallion's Tears game. So it should sound rather like rent .
