  1. I... I... I don't even know... how do I choose someone?!
  2. You're obsessed with MLP and Arrow. Geeks are awesome. The best, in fact. You're fun and funny and you like Discworld. All fabulous things.
  3. I got... drumrollllllllllll Way of Kings!
  4. So many cookies would be left uneaten. Someone else would've gone to the county spelling bee in 7th grade. And the world wouldn't be dealing with my geeky fangirliness whenever a new picture of Pluto is produced. Seriously, though, I do that too.
  5. I agree with those before me. I'm like you- I get frightened pretty easily by stuff. It's kinda funny, because I'm pretty cool with things in real life, but onscreen? Nope. Still, Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead are two of my favorite episodes. Doctor character development? Check. Interesting, new monster? Check. Interesting concept? Check. Giant, planet-sized library? Check! Still some funny moments? Check. Watch it, you won't regret it. It's creepy, but in a good way.
  6. A guy in our community- he always helps with the reenactment- actually did. It's called Dawn Drums, and it's fabulous. Made me want to write something like it. And Slowswift- what kind of music do you listen to, and how amazing is it?
  7. It was awesome. We did it at a park all the way across town from the school, meaning we got to march in formation (and uniform) through the streets. It was fun going past the elementary schoolers. In other news, if we have a war where we go back to Civil War-era everything, I am prepared.
  8. Music Appreciation... class? Is that what heaven is like? I was in one of those! It's the big end-of-year History thing at the school I went to for 8th grade. 33rd Virginia. That was my class. I died during Pickett's Charge. Didn't even get to fire a shot during that one. We were awesome during Manassas, though. Although I felt kinda bad, being on the Southern side of things.
  9. Yep. I'm not an Oregoner, but I tend to upvote just about everything, so... It's... so beautiful...
  10. The stages of Upvote Quota-ing. 1. Confusion 2. Denial. 3. Sadness. 4. Anger. 5. Acceptance.
  11. Well, seeing as this is Random Stuff... My friend and I spent about half an hour this morning making those really sad Les Mis songs upbeat and happy. "Empty Chairs and Empty Tables" worked very well.
  12. I know, seriously!
  13. THERE ARE NEW ONES. AND THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. Go to NASA's website. They're on there. SHIA LABEOUF!
  14. Harps are cool. Go for it! Seize the day! Drive 50+ miles to find a harp teacher! Seriously though has anyone else seen the new Pluto pictures? Because I'm holding myself back from doing all caps again. GEOLOGIC PROCESSES AND POSSIBLE ICE DUNES!!! AAAAAAAAAA I should probably stop now.
  15. Yepsidaisy. I couldn't play the piano- the concert band already has too many pianists, and they only play one hand! The horror. The horror! EDIT: NEW HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGES OF PLUTO FROM NASA I'M GEEKING OUT AAAAAAAAAAA
  16. Well, I don't really like saying "agree to disagree," but I will today. And I should've chosen a better example... It was late at night. I don't think very well then. But I love ya anyway. (In a purely platonic, friendship-based way, of course. ) Back to Random Stuff! Band started out with five trumpets. Now there are three. To put that in perspective, there are at least fifteen saxophones. I fear for our section, especially in a week when I've moved it'll be down to two. Be strong, other trumpet players! Don't give up!
  17. Mistrunner rises, for once gracefully, and is so shocked that she starts and trips to the ground, somehow getting tangled in draperies and assorted clothing items. "Your.... words...'re accepted..." This said, she faints, or falls asleep again. It's difficult to tell the difference sometimes.
  18. Just a reminder: some of us primates like our beating of branches and hooting. I'm patriotic; I don't like being called a monkey. You're an awesome person, Kobold, and I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, but that comparison can be taken as kind of.. well, unkind. I find my patriotism as a way to honor what American ideals are. I find it as a way to honor American troops. It's a very personal kind of love for country.I know there are probably people who take it too far, and those people are the ones people will notice because they're conspicuous. But for me, patriotism is the veterans at the American Legion putting up flags along the road in front of their guild hall in Memorial Day, even though they're getting on a bit in years. Patriotism is the Scouts coming to help them. Am I making any sense?
  19. You probably wouldn't have liked the family dinners my family had when all eight of us were home, then. They were nothing if not exciting. Though my brothers always stole my chicken. They still steal my chicken. This displeases me.
  20. You should've seen me the couple times there were Priest/Laurel church activities at my house. I am much the same.
  21. "Only friends with? I thought he was the Doctor..." Mistrunner muses. "Changing his face, traveling across space to epic moments in time..."
  22. I say we burn the homework to cinders and use them to light campfires!

I started school today. No homework! Yehehe. :)

  23. I'm here to give out hugs. Because I need some, and I think some of the people here need one too.
  24. You're musical, intelligent, kind, fun to talk to and a generally awesome person. May I say how amazing this thread is? And that I think I've upvoted every post in it, because of the awesomeness?
  25. You should see my math notes. Though they are much less professionally drawn.
