  1. I seriously lost it by this point. You get a twinborn! Lucky hat not included. *inserts honorblade*
  2. I didn't know that. I just thought poking was... Well... Itself. Huh. Well, I've learned something new today. On the Bridge Four page (WoR spoilers):
  3. Just wanted to agree to this statement
  4. Well, I don't know about Texas, but the homecoming game for our high school was fun. The marching band is awesome. Just sayin'. Band nerds are the best.
  5. Oklahoma?I would not object to your coming here...
  6. My mom named our PC Sazed I can die happy
  7. "Lopen has poked you 500 times in a row." Kaladin: "But I never poked-" "Lopen has poked you 503 times in a row." Continuing with the IKR shirts...
  8. I want to read Shadows of Self. I need to read Shadows of Self. I wrote an article about how Shadows of Self is out on my basic HTML webpage for my computers class. I still do not have Shadows of Self.
  9. He'd never post anything; his wall would be full of things others tagged him in. That and he'd join the Facebook group for Bridge Four. And Lopen would hack his account and post a thousand pictures of chouta.
  10. We use whole wheat even if it does have chocolate.I like it. Does anyone else eat cottage cheese? Just plain cottage cheese? Because I think it's delicious.
  11. You run XC! Cross country people have my respect.
  12. I haven't really had any truly lucid dreams, but a friend had a very interesting one. In it, he and his friends were at a school rally where they tossed boxes of your heart's desire into the crowd. One of my friends got the powers of Ruin, another a single brick, and I pulled from the box I caught the head of Brandon Sanderson. It was still alive and basically recited future books. He himself got a t-shirt. Of course, it turned out to transform into a suit of armor, which helped when our principal turned into a dragon and started eating the students. After he defeated the principal he died, and we all went to his funeral. Everyone was very somber, except for the friend who received the powers of Ruin. She was laughing her head off and I think literally dancing on his grave. I just wish I could've been there.
  13. "THE BOOKIES!" Mistrunner screams into the void, eyes full of sorrow and loss. A few seconds later, she shrugs and sits back. "I can go make some more, if you want. Who's up for some Alcatraz bookies? They always break, though..." she mutters as the leaps off her chair and heads into the kitchen.
  14. I'm assuming you mean the one with Colin Firth? It's cool that you got to be in that play; the only plays I've done have been Disney. Well, and Wizard of Oz. Was it fun to be acting in it?My uncle, according to my cousin, treats the scene where Elizabeth rejects Mr. Darcy like a boxing match. "Well, if perhaps you had been more of a gentleman-" "BOOM!" Edit: My newfound linguistics obsession won't leave me alone. I'm thinking about language and dialects as much as I eat pretzels. And I eat a lot of pretzels.
  15. Chill. Calm down, go wipe your doorknob with antibacterial antibateria stuff if you must and go do some yoga. Mountain pose... Now prayer pose, down to downward-facing dog... Upward-facing dog...Or eat a prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella sandwich with a hint of homemade pesto aioli. Cool! I liked those talks too. Elder Bednar's was beautiful. And our stake had Elder Cook at our stake conference! What are the odds? It isn't often a general authority comes to your very own stake conference!I have very eclectic tastes. We have a weeklong Thanksgiving break off from school and my first thought when my mom asked me what I wanted to do was "Pride and Prejudice and Lord of the Rings marathons!"
  16. I have to talk about a talk from General Conference. For those who don't know, General Conference is the biannual meeting of the LDS church that takes place over four two-hour sessions, a Saturday and a Sunday. You can watch it live online or go to a church building where they're broadcasting it by satellite. The prophet, apostles and other called men and women of God speak about important things facing us today. Well, one of these apostles, Russel M. Nelson, is a heart surgeon who pioneered open heart surgery. He gave a talk about the power of women and in it told possibly the most inspiring story I've ever heard in my life. This is the link. The story starts at about the 8 minute mark, but the rest is fabulous too, so I'd recommend it all. https://www.lds.org/general-conference/watch/2015/10?lang=eng&vid=4531161806001&cid=9 That he could go on after all that and then because of his efforts literally save so many lives just because of a few words from his wife- just- wow. *hugs everyone in world*
  17. Send that recording to the Grammys or something. It's beautiful.Y'know, you sound almost like my oldest brother. I mean, if you had the American accent. I actually don't really know pewdiepie. Heard of it/him/whatever though. Kind of. The closest I know to a Swedish accent is probably a Norwegian accent because a family friend is hosting a Norwegian exchange student.
  18. Of course, I believe jam is much more common in the US where jelly and marmalade are more common in, say, the UK or Australia. That said, grape jelly is delicious.
  19. Well, no. Health insurance. I tried to sell my mom health insurance when I was nine years old.I'd just figured out what insurance was, and I thought it was a big racket, so I thought I'd try to get in on it. Remember what I said about being a weird kid?
  20. Having three older brothers, I can relate many, many experiences in which this is exemplified. Such as the time I was walking around bonking a tuning fork on things and listening to it (I did that a lot; it sounds cool okay?) when my oldest brother showed me that bonking it, then sticking it on your head makes the sound resonate through your skull.Never mind, that wasn't a weird thing. That was an amazing breakthrough in my life. I was a weird kid myself. Did I tell y'all about the time when I tried to sell insurance to my mom?
  21. Only sometimes?
  22. Recently because of a move to a place where the dominant accent is not my own, I've been thinking about my accent. It's northwestern American, one most would recognize as your average American accent. I've noticed it gets a lot stronger around my family and friends and the opposite around, say, teachers. What's your accent like? When does it get stronger, weaker, etc? Any good stories? Please, tell me!
