  1. An owl! I love owls. Owls are amazing! 10/10 Nightmare Moon, right? It's quite awesome-looking. 10/10
  2. Me, trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in: *shifts* AGH MY WRIST That didn't work... Let's try.... *shifts* AGH MY KNEE One more time... AGH MY CHIN Seriously, how does one aggravate their chin in a bed? It's made out of soft things! Also, noodles are amazing.
  3. 1. Life just sprained my wrist. It's a great thing, but it should be nicer a lot of the time.2. Um... it's okay, I guess. Still getting used to the fact that Fort Sill is huge. It really isn't that crazy big- in terms of land the last fort we were at is bigger- but this one's fancy. It's got this big huge commissary that's like an entire Safeway. Their pool is really indoors, not just kinda covered by a canopy structure thing. They've got traffic lights and fancy housing. It's fancy. 3. Yes. My aunt's when we were staying in her house. It's a lot like piano, with all the notes arranged. 4. They can get up to a ten, depending on what you play. I like harps. They're cool.
  4. Yay!No time to see the nurse. No matter what teachers say, it's impossible to do anything but rush to the next class during passing period. And during lunch I had to eat and then make the trek over to the music building. But I've got it wrapped up now, and it's feeling better. I used to be more graceful, but then I grew a freakish amount in a short amount of time, so now tripping down stairs I go.
  5. I'm sorry, Twi. Again, prayers for your situation and hopes that Mysterious Downvoter(s) stop it. I fell down the stairs this morning. Nothing too bad, but I think I sprained my wrist and we were in a hurry to get out the door so I couldn't wrap it up and had to go through school trying not to move it. My chin hurts like the dickens, too. Ow.
  6. ... Um. Yes. No, no, pretzels are harbingers of deliciousness and binge eating. Yes, actually. In a nutshell: I have no idea.
  7. I accidentally opened a bag of pretzels- from the bottom.
  8. Check out Twi's member title for proof. I see many zombie caribou in your future. Good luck.
  9. I... I never knew I needed this until now.
  10. I can't drive, but there's a tandem bike in the garage... *hugs muchly*
  11. Welcome to our crazy forum! It contains (but is not limited to): The Dark Alley, where fine Hemalurgically trained bakers create delights with very high iron concentrations (or copper, or zinc, or...) The Reckoners RPG, which has zombie caribou, pugs, Nighthound, and a lot of Questions Random Stuff (currently on page IV), where anything is up for discussion The Cosmere Theories, which I believe are designed to befuddle poor people like myself who understand approximately 2/15ths of what they say A memeified version of the Stormlight Archives, by our very own TwiLyght SansSparkles. If that last one doesn't convince you to stay, I don't know what will. Anyway, welcome! This is really an awesome forum, and I hope you stick around.
  12. I'm joining the rest of the people in saying that you'll be in my prayers. I hope you can find a way out of this mess soon.
  13. Yes, I am. It would seem you just can't give it up.
  14. Sorry... *looks down in shame*As to gluttony: *eats brownie, then looks down in shame... again* A pet peeve of mine: People using "everyday" incorrectly. everyday means ordinary or unsurprising-as in Stacey eating all the hot wings was an everyday occurrence; while every day means... every day- I have chicken for lunch every day.
  15. Mistrunner gets up off the beanbag and grins. "Finally! I'm free!" She then runs around the room singing "Born Free" at the top of her lungs and nearly crashes into Kipper. She starts shaking his hand madly instead. "Would you like a bookie? I just made a good batch of Sazeds half an hour ago! They're a bit bland-looking, but the filling is delicious."
  16. Aww. Pets are nice. I don't have one now, though.Maddie the kitten. I like it. I've been talking to myself so much lately that I had an entire conversation with myself as to how it probably isn't healthy.
  17. *triple hug*It really is awesome. Even if I don't post here, I always feel better because of all the support and hugs going on. *hugs everybody*
  18. Tenth. He's awesome. Though Eleven is cool. Like bow ties.Probably Martha- I think she doesn't get enough credit, and I really like her. I'm going to say the Vashta Nerada, because they're so different. You can't attack them, you can't push them back, you can't ever be quite sure where they are. Also, Silence in the Library is one of my favorite episodes. I assume you mean Marvel? If that's the case then YES. Love Marvel movies. And as for my favorite... it's a hard question but my answer is probably the first Avengers movie.I really like Agents of SHIELD, the TV show, as well.
  19. Mistrunner mutters something, voice continuing to be muffled by the beanbag, indignantly about how she just did a faceplant and nobody cares.
  20. Ah, this old thing! *blows dust off thread*Pokemon Red, original. That's fun. Really old Super Smash Bros on Nintendo 64. (I am boss with Pikachu.) Random online games occasionally. Not so much now that I have too much stuff to do already. Mostly really old stuff. My oldest brother is the one that's really into video games. I just played when there was a spare controller. And believe me, I'm terrible at shooting games. I think a lot of times older games have more quality, though. The new ones have cooler graphics but the older ones have more personality, if you know what I mean.
  21. He did that to me too! Once he didn't catch me at lunch so as I was walking into his room he caught me and brought in another Spanish teacher. So when I moved and I saw an oral exam that had been a week or so before and the requirements for it, I nearly laughed. That's a test? I did that every day at lunchtime. And with heart palpitations, too.
  22. I MADE IT I READ ALL FIVE BILLION POSTS ON PHILOSOPHY Now I have a few discussion points. A ) When someone said something about laws being constructs of moral absolutes, all I could think of was that one law in Arkansas where it's illegal to mispronounce Arkansas. And the other one somewhere where it's illegal for a chicken to cross the road. That there's a moral absolute. Chickens crossing roads are morally wrong. B ) Morzathoth mentioned wanting chips. Did he mean American chips or what would be American French fries?
  23. "A visitor!" Mistrunner cries, jumping over two more sofas and a couple unsuspecting readers and somehow managing to trip while in midair. "The Awkwardness goes well, Kipper," she mumbles from her faceplant on a beanbag.
  24. What I remember of playing with Hot Wheels is I was not allowed to most of the time by my older brothers (at least, when Brothers #2 and #3 were both home); they sent me off with one of the lame tow trucks or something. I was not allowed to play with the cool blue one. That was my brothers'. Once, when I did play with Brother #3, my car was some weird double or triple agent. The cool black one was only semi off-limits. There was a cool red one that wasn't off-limits (score). Honestly, the most fun game I ever played when I was younger was where one of us would stand inside this huge cardboard tube next to the stairs where the other person would chuck random things down into said tube. Once person-on-the-stairs ran out of things to chuck, person-in-the-tube would fall over- while still in the tube. It was the most fun ever. I have no idea, don't ask.
