  1. I think the big question is of whether we want more people joining, or if we want to keep it all to ourselves forever and ever.Honestly, we could do both.
  2. For being a lonely chatterbox from 'Straya
  3. ...it's a thing! If we want to actually start this, are we thinking more of social guild or group PM discussion?
  4. We should make a club. The Lonely Chatterboxes Club. Or something.
  5. Wow, I've become a regular here. That's fun. You know what the biggest problem I've had with moving has been? Talking. I don't have anybody to talk to. If I don't know you, I can't say a word, but if I do, I can chatter your ears off with stuff about the latest from NASA or a monologue on the amazingness of pants or some kind of essay on why I think girls' pant pockets are so much smaller than guys'. My friends are well over a thousand miles away, and the last of my siblings is at college now. I'm by myself, and I don't have someone to talk to. I keep seeing opportunities to crack jokes or spout some random bit of trivia, but I've got no one to aim it all at. Hugs, please?
  6. "Really," Mistrunner said. She held up the book she had been reading from, then frowned. "Wait... this is an encyclopedia of mythological Australian creatures." She looked around at everybody in the room. "Who makes an encyclopedia of mythical Australian creatures? And why am I reading it?" She grumbled, then promptly collapsed from exhaustion.
  7. Mistrunner pokes her head up. Her hair is frizzy and her eyes are wild. "I just spent the last two days on a Mistborn reading marathon. All five books. I haven't slept in three days. It hasn't affected me at all, though. On a completely different topic, do you remember there being flying kangaroos in Alloy of Law?"
  8. ... HOLY MACAROONS THAT BOOK WAS FABULOUS NOW ON TO THE REREAD
  9. Now I'm imagining reading it aloud to him."Shadows of Self, by Brandon Sanderson... What do you mean, you haven't read the first book?! Well, tough, Fuzzy, you're gonna just have to stick it out."
  10. For being a fabulous RPer, a maker of funny jokes and insightful statements, and being Bunny Syl.
  11. DEAR MR. SANDERSON, WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME SINCERELY MISTRUNNER Where I'm at in SoS:
  12. For watching Agents of Shield! And being an Aussie, being amazingly nice, and writing a Rosharian boy band song. It's storming amazing.
  13. I haven't got an offering of adorableness, but I'll offer free hugs. All of them. Whether you want 'em or not.
  14. I shall prepare myself. With my teddy bear, Fuzzy, several blanket forts, and pretzels.
  15. Oh no.There... there's more, isn't there. *attempts to put up emotional blockade* *fails* *ends up sobbing in a corner*
  16. Twi, you have a way with words.I finally finally finally got Shadows of Self! I'm not done get, but so far I've gotten this impression: (Spoilers)
  17. I posted something! I feel so accomplished. Now, I've left an opening for an official to come in and question Mist and Saga. Somebody? Of course, if Spren here wants to post again, fine by me. Mist is getting close to talking about her oddball family.
  18. "Thank you, for, for the information," Mist says with an unsteady sort of laugh. "And yeah, I'm mostly Scadrian. I remember something about my mother being part Sel- Selish? Is that what you call it?-, but I wouldn't know. My dad was born and raised on Scadrial, I think. I don't really know. My family's a bit complicated." Mist gives another halfhearted laugh. "Are they ever going to question us or something?"
  19. *hugs*I need some too right now. Can I get some?
  20. Congrats Slowswift!
  21. Yes it does. My birthday. I've been telling my congressman they should make it a national holiday, but nooooo...Today in Government I was writing down vocab words. I wrote "chief of staff," then zoned out for a second. Then I looked at my paper and realized I had written "chief of snacks!", exclamation point and all. My subconscious must be telling me something. Hand over them pretzels. Also, I've decided the chief of snacks is the guy in charge of bringing lemonade, cookies, chips and dip to the cabinet meetings. Those guys get hungry too!
  22. *super hug*Believe me, I know the feeling. When's the move? And how far away is it from your current place? How's it all going? *super hug again*
  23. Today was fun. Again. The choir teacher is still under the impression that I am either singing first soprano or do not exist. It was almost funny. I tried to say something once, but I couldn't even hear myself speak, so. Then I went to a church activity. It was Young Women in Excellence, a church thing celebrating progress young women (ages 12-17) have made in their Personal Progress. Personal Progress has eight values (things like Faith, Individual Worth, and Integrity) with a certain number of value experiences and value projects you have to do to complete each. Young Women in Excellence recognizes progress in that and gives out ribbons for completed values. They handed out the cards for everyone. Except me. She scanned the room, looking to see if she'd missed anyone. Nope. Later, she got up, apologized, and gave me one. I felt better until I noticed something. I didn't have the heart to tell them they'd misspelled my name. I feel so special. I've actually never felt more like the Doctor in my life, so there's that.
