I totally agree! In all seriousness, sometimes it's nice to know you're not the only one, that you aren't the only grouch in the world who doesn't cry during sad movie scenes or hates cold chairs. Just my thoughts.

This.I can't cry for movies, and I've only cried over a book once. I always see things that say "if you say you didn't cry during this scene you're lying" or "if you didn't cry at this part you have no heart." Well, I've got a heart, and these things can make me very sad, but I can't cry for them.

Why is it so much harder to forgive yourself than to forgive other people?

One, that fanfic was kind of cute (oh who am I kidding it was flat out adorable), and two, I absentmindedly started thinking of what their couple name would be.Kaladin Sparkle. Kaladin Sparkle.

Unfortunately, I'm not up to date, what with the fact that I have no BBC America and that I'm rewatching it to make my mother see it. Rewatching Doctor Who is confirming what I've thought for a while, though: Moffatt can write some really great episodes, like Blink and Listen, but really lacks in overall story and character arcs. They feel... bland. Or unbelievable. Just my two cents on the topic.

It was fabulous. Not the best movie ever, of course, and it was a wee but too similar to the original trilogy, but it wasn't too shabby either. I thought it was funny how Mark Hamill got to be the second name in the credits after showing up for about ten seconds. But he looked appropriately Jedi-y and stuff, so I suppose that means he's earned it. I liked Rey and Finn, and Han was awesome as always. I actually hope Ben/Crazy Tantrum Dark Side Solo Guy/what are we supposed to call him? isn't redeemed. He's mentally unstable, sure, but he killed his own father amid many other crimes. He isn't a very nice guy, and I think it's hard to claim that he's just misguided and whatnot. That was a terrible explanation. Bleh. Hopefully my point got across anyway. But is anyone going to talk about how the Supreme Leader is played by Gollum?

He got me a selfie stick. We were completely in sync with our really stupid gifts. I got to poke him with the selfie stick, so that's good.
