Maybe that is why they were in such awe when they saw Kaladin? Maybe they saw that as their Gods returning. However, the Heralds were "awesome" as well weren't they?

When Gamma Fiend brought up Ska band, did anyone else think Skaa band? Personally I match songs to the feel of a book instead of characters. The opinion is probobly influenced by any recent song I listened to but Counting stars be OneRepublic reminds me of Mistborn. Although if I was going to match it to a character I would say Hoid simply because of the name.

I really enjoyed the shardhunt and I was wondering if you could have other little hunts just for the fun of it. The hunt wouldn't have to be for steelhunt codes though. I think a lot of people would enjoy something like a monthly shardhunt or something like that. I don't know what you would have at the end of each hunt but the riddles are just so much fun. It also gives people incentive to learn their way around the shard. Thank for all you administrators do!

Well, I'm not using nail polish or cosmetics for their power so go ahead and use it. The finger nails would glow according to the color that the person can use. Since Prism houses seem to be taken I'll change that aspect of the world. Instead they could have Finger prisms. They would buy these at Prism houses. Prism houses would basically be like a grocery store that sells prisms and devices that have to do with light. Finger prisms would be a thimble with a glass insert above the nail. Different types of thimbles would filter different colors of light from the White Sun's light. The nails can absorb light but only their color of light. For example a red nail would only be able to absorb red light. They would have to be exposed to pure red light in order to absorb it. Hence the finger prism. The better the prism quality and the purer the light the more effective it will be. Only white nails and those that can absorb all the colors could absorb white light directly. However, because white light emits all the colors at once each color counters its opposite and nothing happens. The finger nails would always glow whether you are using the light currently or not. Prismatics are those that can absorb and manipulate each of the colors individually. All the colors except for black. Their nails will not begin to glow different colors until they have absorbed each of the pure colors for the first time. From then on at least each color has to be visible in at least one of their twenty nails. most people keep their toenails different colors allowing them to keep their exposed finger nails uniform. This allows them to stay unnoticed. Spectrums can absorb and control one color. Brightnails are anyone who doesn't have grey nails. Darknails are black nails. The white nails and the grey nails can hold political power since they don't have physical powers. Prismatics and Spectrums have physical power and thus are not allowed political power. You don't call someone with colored nails a lord or a lady as that implies political power. You call them Spectrums, Prismatics, or Brightnails. Clothing symbolizes the power you have. Hmm. From what I remember, each time a human was killed by a sharblade there was no blood. If the shardblade cut flesh then when it passed through a neck the head would fall off. that never happened

Pinpoint leaped over the hedgehog like figure. The stupid creature of plastic and air didn’t have a chance of killing him. It only had the basic nerves, inflated plastic shell, and the soul of a hedgehog. Turning, the creature charged again. Pinpoint leaped up onto the smooth wall of the pit that surrounded him and stabbed the conical spikes that he had for hands into the wall. As he clambered upwards the crowd shouted in anger. The creature below was impassively scrabbling at the wall. Ug he thought. No emotion either. Why couldn’t more of the creators be as courteous as his own? He had it all. Well, all except for fear. His metal muscles felt no strain as he used his spiked feet to push off the wall. As he summersaulted through the air the hedgehog began to turn. Blue glass eyes. Impressive. I wonder if he can really see my soul? If he can that means he’ ll know what I am going to do next. Pinpoint thought. How to get the belly? He has blue eyes. He landed on the ground hand spikes first and then rolled to his feet. Sunlight gleamed off the hedgehog’s spikes as it charged. At the last second Pinpoint dodged aside. The hedgehog followed. No, rolled. Pinpoint barely gained enough spring to leap out of the way a second time. As the spiked ball of death rolled to a stop, Pinpoint dashed forwards and stabbed his latex arm inwards. The spike penetrated the only unprotected spot. The creature had anticipated him because of that it had done what the hedgehog would have done. But pit a hedgehog’s soul against a human’s and who wins? The inflated latex shell blasted away leaving a metal skeleton. Brown Soul tears splattered Pinpoint. He walked over to the creatures face and snapped the hollow glass eyes from their sockets. He then he took the common grey eye from his left socket and replaced it with a blue one. The same was done for the other eye. So, you really can see souls. Ladders dropped into the pit. As he clambered over the edge he saw his creator. The crippled man had lost use of his arms and legs as well as his wits. Pinpoint felt the glare of the man’s eyes on him. They spoke to him with all the sentience that the man had left. Pinpoint was neglecting his purpose for silly, common fights. He had been given the best. He was supposed to be the best. He needed to fight the all-powerful and immortal. The man’s eyes glared at him and they seemed to say, bring down the human race.

Who are the Parshendi gods? There are two possibilities 1. the Heralds are the Parshendi Gods if their gods are the Heralds that might make some sense. They left and then they returned. However, the Heralds want peace don't they? Unless they don't want a union with the voidbringers 2. Odium is one of the gods Having the Parshendi kill the king sounds a lot like what Odium would do. Odium left and settled on Braize. Maybe he threatened to return if they didn't stop the peace treaty. Odium doesn't want peace The Parshendi seem to worship Odium. They seem obsessed about stone. Odium seems to have a big effect on stone. We have seen this through looking at geography and through the Thunderclasts. Plus Shardblades are the only Weapons that can cut stone. They were made in defense against Odium. The problem with this is that Eshonai says gods. Who are the other gods? What does "Unite them" mean? 1. It means to unite the Parshendi and the rest of Roshar This wouldn't make any sense if the Heralds are the gods. so if Odium is one of the gods this would make sense because we are assuming that Honor is sending the visions. This would mean that Odium doesn't want the Parshendi and everyone else uniting. 2. it means to unite every one except the Parshendi. If the Heralds are the gods and they ordered the Parshendi to kill Gavilar, this would mean that either the visions don't mean to unite the Parshendi and Humans or it could mean that Honor isn't sending the visions at all. (you have to make no assumptions when reading a book written by Brandon.) This would also mean that Odium wants the Parshendi to unite with Roshar and that would mean that the Parshendi are dangerous and have destructive potential. Is Honor really sending the visions? This would be a really big twist in the book and it seems like something Brandon would do. Maybe Odium is trying to maneuver the Parshendi into a position where he can use them to wreak the greatest amount of destruction possible. An apparent peace treaty would be perfect. By sending visions about uniting he could prepare the people for a treaty. Odium I think that destruction gives Odium control. Like Ruin, I think that destruction gives Odium greater control. The high storms are destructive. Storm form of the Parshendi sounds destructive. The Thrill is destructive. Are the Parshendi possible tools of Odium? I think that the Parshendi are tools of Odium but those tools can only be accessed when in a destructive form. Maybe like storm form I also have a random question What do the Parshendi eat? They are trapped. I doubt they are trading. Though they might be trading with the Shin. If it is possible to get a Shin assassin then it might be possible to get Shin food. Do they have access to trade? if not what do they eat. So there are a bunch of thoughts and twists about the Parshendi. It might be confusing to read. If you have thoughts on why some of these possibilities might or might not be valid share them I want to narrow the possibilities down as much as possible. I posted this in the wrong spot. This should be moved to the WOR forum.
