I'd rather guess at tension. BS specifically mentions making cloth hard to be used as weapon when he describes how tension works.

Not sure how Zahel felt when he first heard Kaladin's name. Born unto Kalad.

A silver chain, a metal to be worn on your body. It's definitely a metalmind. It's expensive because it's heavily invested. It may not be silver, just some silvery metal.

Perhaps with some weird procedures, the dagger can make someone the new Herald, and the killer will be best candidate. The Listeners obviously cannot become Heralds, and Odium do want more on his side.

No, as the channeler of Honor's power, Dalinar can release Odium off Roshar. He made it sure by asking Dalinar multiple times.

You know, Jezrien did wear armor in the painting.

People having interaction with the moons who may or may not stand for the gods. Well, could the story be about how the Oathpact actually came into being? Cultivation coming down to pick people to meet with Honor. Then some blue skinned people were born from the meeting. The queen may actually refer to the Heralds? And the Aimians were tasked to watch over the Oathpact? We know they are still watching to this day.

This actually sounded like someone from Nalthis to me. How they love bright colors.

How is the lopen more broken than Adolin? I can't see how the lopen is broken. Adolin is definitely broken enough. Shallan was broken enough before she killed her own mother as a child.

The cataclysm on Ashyn may specifically be by the surgebinders. Maybe the spren from Braize was driven by Odium to Ashyn to bind the humans there, messed up with everything and traveled with them to Roshar.

Yeah, the one who ran away from her royal responsibility to a someone who better fits is definitely Vivienna. Siri doesn't fit this.

And characters with the initial K are much luckier. Kaladin, Kalad, Kelsier,

[OB] Sja-Anat enlightening, how it works, what it means?
echaozh replied to PunSpren's topic in Stormlight Archive
Sja-Anat trying to rebel makes me believe more that the Unmade are not made by Odium, but just "unmade" by him. If the Unmades are splinters of Odium, the shard's intent will enforce their obedience, and they will never even be able to rebel. Also, the action being called "enlightenment" by the Unmade is also interesting. I think before Sja-Anat herself was "unmade" by Odium, she help some god more respected by the humans, say Cultivation, to actually enlighten spren. To give them sentience? To help them reproduce? To urge them to bond with humanoids? Or she may be the one to mix investitures from Honor and Cultivation to make the magic system, as what she now does is channeling one shard's investiture into another's. What the other Unmade do is also useful if used in the right way. Giving people foresight. Granting courage and power on battlefields. You know, Moelech sounds like a pretty impressing VR show of the cruelty of the wars. They're just tools turned into terrible weapons, and they may still be within salvation. -
Unity may also be Honor - something, say pride. Honor specifically splintered himself to leave the Unity intent, or he specifically splintered his Unity intent into Stormfather. Either way, Dalinar is now touching the partial intent. In the end of the first half of the Stormlight Archives, Dalinar may have to Ascend to rebalance the power structure of the Rosharan system, though I am not really sure why T is against it. Dalinar will never let Kharbranth burn in Odium's hands, will he? Though if Dalinar Ascends, Navani will be left in a very awkward position. Does she count as a widow now? She definitely cannot Ascend to become Cultivation right?

I don't know, but it sounds like gold and aluminum melded together. You know, aluminum is almost definitely needed in this case. Gold, well, gold makes you see people's past, which somehow fits here, to stab someone with a very long and colorful past. Or it could be electrium.

I think it will along the line of "I will protect, even though there will be blood shed.", with room for explanation as to whose blood is shed, the protected or the ones to be protected against. As to the fifth ideal, well, I guess the ultimate form of a Windrunner may be Cuicesh the Protector. He sucks all his squires in and changes faces all the time.

I think the a soulcaster who continuously soulcasts things into one specific element will slowly become that element, since the command to transform into that element has been heard and subconsciously followed by her own soul. They're not turning into spren.

I think the Keenspren are more likely the spren for Truthwatchers. First, they like gardens, and TW spren tend to have plants growing from their light in the PR. Secondly, Watchers do have to be keen, right?

Can Cultivation send the dream to Dalinar? The dream was not noticed and interfered by Odium, so perhaps there's shard power at work.

I think the starspren may be the plates for the Skybreakers. In Oathbringer, out of nowhere, starspren suddenly come to the screen. I think it means something.

[OB] The third Bondsmith and Urithiru
echaozh replied to FirstSelector's topic in Stormlight Archive
Hmmmmm. The Aimians are sons of the moons. The Aimians are cremlings. The Sibling may be the first Aimian who was also made up of cremlings. Very sound theory I think. -
[OB] Recreance: A Possible Account of Events
echaozh replied to Salkara's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well, the Skybreakes did try to fit in with local lawkeepers, they dress like them, and they tried not to fly in front of them, right until Nale told them the Desolation had actually begun again. -

I think the listener's' gods were the Fused. They were trying to not be possessed by the Fused. -
Now, I know it sounds silly, but someone else in OB actually shifted faces, and that was, well, no other than Shallan. I would not be very surprised if Cuicesh was Shallan traveling back in time after, say, losing Adolin to the Origin.

Why the name Ghostblood and why the symbol which looks like 3 shards connected to each other? I think the symbol may specifically refer to the Rosharan system. Mraize himself behaves exactly like a Thaylen merchant, collecting souvenirs from places he had traveled. I think Rysn did the same. I don't think he is a particularly military person, so he only asked Shallan to do intelligence work. I think the group's goal is to keep Odium grounded in the Rosharan system, instead of coming out and wreaking havoc everywhere in the cosmere. They may not want to kill off Odium, or to Ascend to be the new Odium, but to contain Him. Kelsier may align to their goal because Odium will be a great threat to his home world.
