*whispers* My theory about Threnody and the 4th Shard he killed is totally gonna be true, you guys.

Silverlight isn't the name of a worldhopping group. It's a city in the Cosmere, where worldhoppers live. We have no idea if those they sent are part of a particular group or if they're just explorers. That's one we have to put a pin in, for now.

He's a dragon, and dragons are native to Yolen. We also have WoB that Frost isn't a worldhopper, so I don't see how he could not be from Yolen.

Absolutely. And the negative white space in the middle is a bird.

[AU Spoilers] First of the First
PallonianFire replied to PallonianFire's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yeah. My question is how relevant is First of the First? The fact that multiple planets are inhabitable might make the moon inhabitable, too. -
[AU Spoilers] First of the First
PallonianFire replied to PallonianFire's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Could very well be. I just found it really jarring on the map. It stood out in an unexpected way. -
I agree. I don't think there's any evidence tying the Ones Above to Silverlight. Hehe, agreed. Brandon teased me on Facebook just a minute ago when I said Silverlight is totally the Restaurant. He just responded with a smiley face

I think so, mostly. Idk if they ever set the Elantris/White Sand order for sure, but it should be: Hope of Elantris The Emperor's Soul White Sand . . The Eleventh Metal Secret History . Edgedancer . Allomancer Jak . . . Sixth of the Dusk With Shadows for Silence somewhere around/before Mistborn Era 1 stuff. But I might be wrong on that.

What's the significance of First of the Sun's moon? It seems none of the other inhabitable planets have moons, and the uninhabitable ones have moons that aren't named. Anyone think that there's a reason Nazh labeled First of the First?

I do indeed. https://www.reddit.com/r/Stormlight_Archive/comments/51u8qu/oathbringer_spoilers_stormlight_three_update_4/d8zbvvs/

It's a place. We first heard about it in a WoB on reddit recently, in a conversation about highest population densities in the Cosmere. I'm pretty sure Silverlight is the Restaurant at the End of the Cosmere that he first revealed at JordanCon this year.

This throws a bit of a wrench in my Autonomy/Taldain/perpendicularity theory. On the one hand, it makes sense that if Autonomy left Taldain and there was no longer a perpendicularity there, it would be inaccessible. On the other, how are people like Nazh getting on and off Threnody? Grrr, I need that Threnody intro NOW.

First of the Sun used to have a shard (speculation)
PallonianFire replied to CosmereQuestioner's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This is an interesting thing to think about. Is it possible for a Shard to move on and still leave a perpendicularity? Did this Shard partially Invest itself and then decide to run away, leaving the shardpool intact? -
So Silverlight is totally the Restaurant at the End of the Cosmere, right? I asked him this years ago and he said Vathi is not Khriss.

Trell is Odium - The Sign of the "Red Eyes"
PallonianFire replied to TheBlueShifting's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I see it mostly as a catalyst for colonization for a planet that didn't have a Shard to create life, plus an explanation for the Cognitive Realm blockup (and a reason why Threnody is named Threnody).- 70 replies

Trell is Odium - The Sign of the "Red Eyes"
PallonianFire replied to TheBlueShifting's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I don't mean the move from continent to continent. I mean that, in the distant past, I think people migrated to Threnody after Odium killed their Shard.- 70 replies

Haha sorry. I'm incapable of sitting aside when there's a good Threnody conversation going on.- 70 replies

Trell is Odium - The Sign of the "Red Eyes"
PallonianFire replied to TheBlueShifting's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I don't know what world they came from, but I don't think it was called Threnody. I think they named Threnody in memorial of the Shard that Odium splintered on their old world (you can see more on this in the theory highlighted in my sig: "Threnody was a Shard"). There is an outside possibility that it happened on Threnody, but I doubt it. We do have this, though:- 70 replies

Trell is Odium - The Sign of the "Red Eyes"
PallonianFire replied to TheBlueShifting's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I still think the Threnodites moved to Threnody through the CR after Odium splintered the Shard on whatever world they came from, and the Investiture they used for the big move is plugging up the CR now/making the Shades phenomenon happen. Can't wait for Khriss' intro in AU, since Brandon hinted that it'll give us some answers about that when I told him my theory.- 70 replies

I just salivate for any Khriss. She's easily my favorite Sanderson character.

Is it bad that I'm more excited for this, with the Khriss essays and star charts, than I am for Oathbringer?
-
Thanks, @PeterAhlstrom! I originally saw it on a Facebook thread.
