  1. Brandon Sanderson is two ChatGPT models in a trenchcoat. Obviously. The person we all know as Brandon Sanderson is actually an actor named Sandon Branderson and he lives in New Jersey
  2. Inkwell woke up on the porch. His clothes were soaking wet. It seemed rain had come through during the night, and the sky which had been a clear canvas of stars last he had seen was now blank and white. He stiffly got up, went inside, and sat in front of a fire until he was dry. “I guess it’s time…” “Are you kidding me!?!?” Birds for miles around the foothills inexplicably decided they would rather migrate three months earlier this year.
  3. So there is no set amount of Plotblades? That’s interesting.
  4. One of them involves cheating on some side of the murder, the other involves a terrible disgrace of a video game reference and some allomantic Compounding. I revert to making fun of things when I realize I’m in danger wait why are there like five ooklas tagged on that post nameless
  5. Let’s not summon bargain mart lord voldemort, shall we? I have two different dubiously clever ways to raise a character from the dead and I’m not afraid to use them
  6. Very very interesting
  7. Wait lore I haven’t heard yet I MUST KNOW also @xinoehp512 I must profusely thank you for the knowledge of the thread I do have, some others have recommended resources you made
  8. Inkwell sits on the front porch and tries to enjoy the noodles. He’s not sure the next time he will be able to quietly watch the dusk. The moon peeks out above the mountains, shining down on the woods. Fog and Rebus discuss something below, out of earshot. He tries to ignore their presence. It turns out noodles made of ink aren’t particularly filling, no matter how perfectly they imitate real noodles’ physical properties. They would sustain him anyway. “What are we going to do,” he says to 9/10mmHB#2. “Any moment they decide to, Rebus or Malevolence could just… appear. And neither Fog or Ribbon seem worried as I do.” “You know that any time someone tries to bring back the dead, all they get is a rotting corpse. Parents and lovers, tyrants and heroes, gods and men. How many stories of tragedy come from trying to bring back what’s dead and buried?” “If I can’t convince you, you know I’ll eventually have to fight you.” “Well, soon you’ll be rid of me. If we’re lucky we won’t cross paths.” He sat silently, finishing off the broth and watching the stars.
  9. So, how does an Aluminum spike work? Do you still have to kill someone for it to become Hemalurgically charged, or does it activate inside of the victims body? Could someone possibly fire an aluminum bullet through their own body into someone else’s to remove their powers? most importantly, where do I get instant noodles? I am all out
  10. Inkwell stared, exasperated, as Fog walked- well, drifted, maybe a few hundred yards away from the house and called out to Rebus, summoning him basically into his new backyard. Then Ribbon joined the two. “Well, this is great.” He went inside and drew a box of instant noodles and a pot of water he heated over the fireplace.
  11. I’ve read eye of the world, what is that referring to? (Am spectator btw)
  12. “Safe travels.” He nodded to her as the sun disappeared, the horizon lingering red for a few moments. He had other priorities as well.
  13. A spear made of stardust fell out of the sky, barely missing Bob and piercing the ground right in front of his nose, quivering gently.
  14. Oh uh she’s taking forever, I expect there’s some page long thing she’s doing or maybe just life, I always forget people have lives *fandom trauma manifests* I haven’t been in fandom since like 8th grade. will figure that out some other day
  15. Ok dang you guys must have a master plan or something really complicated this is taking a while
  16. Anti hero and anti villain are totally quantifiable in this case though. Those would be kind of insanely awesome. When was the last time someone held Protagonist?
  17. I guess so. I picked Ekko because that’s the best example of a third party, but a lot of the language used in a carefully structured story doesn’t really work here with TLT because it’s all so relative. You can call yourself a third party but that’s only relative to those who are definitively the antagonist and protagonist, and all the roles shift over time. It’s good practice for a book, but more… alive, and never quite polished enough. That’s why I love it so much already
  18. Not like hero or villain, though. Hero, villain, antihero and anti villain are a different thing from antagonist, third party, protagonist, and bystander (imhop, debatable, and I haven’t published anything)
  19. I can confirm that neither Inkwell nor 9/10mmHB#2 are ever going to show up and start going after Protagonist. is there a third party aligned Plotblade? Like Ekko from Arcane?
  20. Time resumed its normal pace for Inkwell. “I’d be disappointed if you didn’t want to work with me, but you have no obligation. I’ll leave you be, try and survive as best I can, and deal with other problems. In the meantime, you can always rely on me for an extra hand, though I don’t know how much help I’ll be.” He turned to watch the sunset. The valley wasn’t spectacular, but it was inspiring nonetheless.
  21. It can’t see anything I can’t see and doesn’t know anything I don’t know. the plot thickens is me imitating something dragonheir said when he wasn’t online to react and time moved faster for everyone else than rebus.
  22. It’s technically got the omniscience of a narrator but doesn’t doesn’t always share its knowledge its alr, sometimes I forget I am an adult The plot suddenly thickens. Literally. Time in the space Inkwell occupies slows to a crawl, inexplicably.
  23. Ah, fair enough. I’ll wait until you reveal whatever it is you are planning. or I won’t. Getting a bit too in character tbh
