  1. How dumb of an idea is it to allomantically burn something like Nullite or Prismite? If you found some Connection magic that allowed you to safely burn it as an allomantic metal, that is.
  2. Shoot you guys are basically hunting deer in a pen at this point Inkwell don’t got a chance anywho what happened to the onlookers on that brawl when i@9 disappeared? It’s like everyone went different places and then those are still there drinking tea or smt
  3. That was one of the Ceps, actually, who Inkwell responded to before fighting Rebus. And he was kind of being hunted by Rebus for literal fun anyhow. :3 it not an attack anyhow, they’re feeling really defeated since they have ran away from every fight they’ve been in up to this point and are trying to convince each other to keep going. Imma sit back and watch until Myles or Alli show up again anyhow. This is getting good
  4. The thought gives Inkwell strength as he limps down the hill towards the forest after Alli and Myles. The forest looms above him, dark pines threatening to hold dangers they aren’t ready for.
  5. “He’s got a point,” 9/10mmHB#2 wearily says. “I’m still not sure what Rebus is doing.” “You’re saying… my archenemy is cooler than your archenemy. How petty is that.” “Want to trade places?” Inkwell bore the burden for 9/10, for the moment. Maybe they should find a healer. He checked the pen. Still empty, slowly filling, but it seemed to be locked in the off position. He tried to stand on his on injured foot, and managed to get up. “I’m.. going to go look for Alli. And apologize. You should too, more than I should.” Inkwell lurches away from the cliffs, towards the forest below. Two pairs of tracks lead down to a path cutting through the woods. He steadies himself, and begins his search.
  6. 9/10 stumbled onto the cliffside, over to the table Myles and Alli had been sitting at, and slumped over it, clutching its arm and foot, which were bleeding profusely. “That’s hilarious…” he whispered. “Rebus was far worse.” It tried to rip its shirt to bind the wounds, but he isn’t strong enough. Drawing Futility, it sits on the ground and carefully cuts a few strips, tying them around its ankle and arm. It sighs and stares at the sunset. “I could have done better…”, he whispered. The thought doesn’t really help. It licks its lips and rests, for the moment.
  7. No spoilers, the Soft Blade is a thing that exists from a sci-fi book by the same author as Eragon. But if Fog had trouble, I doubt the Soft Blade would be much use, so that’s enough context.
  8. Ah. That’s cheating :3 Not out of cowardice, at all, but out of the complete lack of desire to obtain the Plotblade of Plot Significance, 9/10mmHB#2 stumbles away from the Guardian, cutting a rift to the other arena. Instead of the other arena, when he steps through, he finds himself back on the cliff side. He seems to be losing focus. Blood loss does that to normal human beings.
  9. So the guardian, which is an extension of this legendary weapon that is associated with plot significance, is attacking specifically 9/10 and no one else that entered the arena… why? im working towards a strategy, but im a bit backed up into a wall with both of my characters here.
  10. this is the plot blade of plot significance, correct?
  11. He is loathe to run away. Instead he flings a rift down the length of the Plotblade, closing around the end of the Guardian’s hand. This won’t get him anything, but will slow down the Guardian. He continues towards Malevolence, who seems to think his armor still works even though that’s not how nullite works. @NameIess
  12. It struggles to say it- “I don’t want your sword. I want the dark one dead.”
  13. So…. It cancels Stormlight? And I wasn’t projecting Anti Stormlight, I was projecting the physical vibration that transforms isolated Stormlight into anti- light. They aren’t on Roshar, so, if I’m understanding the mechanics of Nullite correctly, Malevolences Stormlight and armor no longer functions without or with the need for the anti light vibration.
  14. Uh, what. Rude. 9/10mmHB#2 diverts the flame with Futility. Barely. He is too determined to be killed by something like a random flame.
  15. The plot slips away from 9/10mmHB#2 as its author disappears to spend time with his family. When it returns, Malevolence is completely unaffected by the Anti-Stormlight rhythm, and Fog has collapsed into a pool on the ground. Time slips back into regular speed, and it manages to cut a rift that diverts most of the bullets harmlessly into the sky, except two. One hits it in the right ankle, the other strikes it in the upper part of his left arm. It grits its teeth. Ribbon is here, talking to the thing that is no longer Fog. Just have to buy some time… The pen only has a little ink left. It clutches its arm and limps towards Malevolence. curious, how does nullite work?
  16. I know just the character that could help here. Mind if 9/10 dips for a moment? @Through The Living Glass
  17. 9/10mmHB#2 changes the song. At first it is unrecognizable as anything but a rhythm. An awry, awful rhythm that shakes everyone to their core; the rhythm of Anti-Stormlight. As the drone begins to fire on it, it cuts a hole through reality and begins creating rifts in the sky, shredding the fabric of reality, falling through the air and spreading Teostra powder around the drones. It lands, sparking the pen against the sword again, and the drones fall to the explosion, though the majority of the demons have fallen. inkwell is powerful with the pen but weak with the sword, 9/10 is the opposite.
  18. The core of the planet heats up just enough to make the water feel like a relaxing hot tub, in spite of the Winds efforts. This is actually more dangerous than the cold, as it suddenly becomes very tempting for Bob to stop swimming and start drowning.
  19. I am more determined to have Malevolence die so that I can return to this plot thread than anything else. speaking of, 9/10mmHB#2 reaches into his pocket and takes out the slightly cracked phone. “Hey Siri. Play the album Trilogy by Carpenter Brut. Skip. Skip. Skip. Skip.” Suddenly, 347 midnight demons appear in the air behind him. Good battle music and an army of literal demons at his command, he smiles and awaits Malevolence’s next move. @NameIess
  20. Geez what the heck, they were Disney chipmunks. Stone would do something, to complete the trio of Wind, Stone, and Night, but Stone is an already established character which @edgyswordname does not have authority to control.
  21. A collection of friendly chipmunks catch the stardust shillings as they roll away and hand them to Bob, singing some Disney song.
  22. Night forges some shillings out of extremely heavy stardust, heavy enough that the Wind can’t easily affect them, dropping them onto the cliff next to Bob.
  23. Is that a Plotblade… also the explosion was completely by accident, Atreides picked the exact worst place to teleport.
  24. This bold means canon thing is a fact I understand. However. My character was having an epic duel and now I am dying laughing imagining the duel just stopping completely and everyone staring at bob and the wind
  25. I’ve just realized nameless is here and all that is canon XD
