good point. I imagine there's multiple ways to create it and using gravitation spren is one of them. It depends on what is the easiest to create, and your idea is likely more plausible. I thought it was a quote from TSM or IED, and so immediately started theorizing connections. Also I was moderately wrong, cut and gem type affect which spren you can attract, not the function of the gem directly. very plausible that you're right.

Also, please consider checking out the Sharder FAQ for some useful forum info and tips. (Mistborn Era 2 Spoilers ) Also, I'm under the impression that the type of spren is only one of many factors, and metals, shape, and type of gemstones are more important. It feels like it also might be used with some gyroscope-esque device and something similar to the way spanreeds work, with the rubies. curious, did you hear this somewhere, or just an idea that popped into your head?

My guess is that Adonalsium did something to get them away from these people, because they're too powerful. We know Ado has experience with the powers of the Dawn shards(making everything with them and stuff) and was enormously powerful. We also know that one of the dawnshards is different (from a WoB), (maybe b/c he held it, and then was shattered) I doubt Adonalsium was just like "Come at me bro" and then stood there, he prob. did something to fight back and/or thwart them. I didn't see many WoBs that were super relevant, but I'm sure treamayne is gonna come and give like 60.

I see what you're saying, but I would categorize that as (at least ideally) protecting life at the minimum, maybe pursuit of happiness. though it is true that I overlooked some similar situations. Good point, but a couple notes. you said acceptance, where as I had said tolerance, which are quite different, and yes, I think we should tolerate and respect those beliefs as long as it does not harm the G/I doing the practice, and is not in contradiction to the Pursuit of Happiness of the child(ren). Thanks for being so respectful.

@Ookla the Dokja's gonna get you also, you are incorrectly assuming that if you replace 1 candle with 9 spheres, then it will produce the same amount of light at all distances, which is... not how light works also, you are completely ignoring that sphere's don't pack perfectly
