  1. I believe this is my ~7th game. A self vote? Interesting. I was going to vote Stick, but now... Edit: @DrakeMarshall I'd assumed this was an LG so I'd miscalculated before but I'll probably miss all of the Night.
  2. Rayer took a step back, but kept the spores in his hand.
  3. Happy Birthday!

    1. AltonicKeys

      AltonicKeys

Thank you! One of those two things is certainly true! im ngl it's a coinflip on which one though

  4. I don't think counts as double-posting so I forgot about this earlier, but Harry breaks Newton's 3rd Law and the First Law of Thermodynamics, so... I can let Percy slide, his powers are well defined (at least where I'm at), but Newton's 3rd Law is kind of a must, so Harry is out
  5. You know Should've done this ages ago but I wish to be a sophon type WIZBIRB
  6. Nothing's what it seems (nothing's what it seems) But here in the Underworld the past seems close behind
  7. Rayer nodded slowly, and got out his remaining verdant spores.
  8. "Indeed they would. And so would I. I still don't know much about them."
  9. I've been lost for a while. I still don't even know a tip of the iceberg. 4000 pages of history is a lot, and I don't think it's necessary, since any new characters probably won't know anything either, and I've been figuring things out as they become relevant.
  10. So... Is that a yes to conlanging? Should I make a PM or a forum topic
  11. ... Key word: slightly For words like university, High Imperial already expands it to 'wasing the where of the knows' The word count in all the wiki pages is going to double, and stuff won't be clear. High Imperial is not a good option. I'd like to conglang, even if it wasn't for the wiki pages. Our characters speaking a new, full-fledged language would be really cool. Would you, Shatter, be interested in conlanging? For the actual vote, I'm going to abstain. I feel like pages should match the creator's preferences.
  12. I edited it, since 18142's my character. High Imperial doesn't have consistent grammar though. A conlang, on the other hand... Recognise. Jokes aside though, I do think it would be really cool if we made a TLT conlang. Would anyone else be interested in working on one?
  13. I was the British voter And I'm not anymore So 1 Canadian, 1 abstain, and 2 conlang So conlang wins! We get to make a language for TLT! It should be called Tlterian or something "Survival is their only long term goal. A big reason to stay in Threads is, if almost everyone around you doesn't know of the Dark Forest, then the Dark Forest doesn't exist. Other alien civilisations do not know of the Threads and can't get here even if they did, without someone helping them. By coming here, they have left the Dark Forest. Sure, most of their population is still on Trisolaris, but if they get destroyed, this one still survives. But here there are new problems, although none as big as the threat of a Dark Forest Strike, like the fact that with magic, all it takes is a single person to wipe them out completely. Gaining magic themselves provides some defense."
  14. "They wish to gain an affinity to Investiture and other magic. If I'd tried giving them unsealed metalminds while on Trisolaris, it wouldn't work. Staying here will eventually mean they get access to power their kind has never wielded before. Well, they do have the power to destroy star systems, but that's a different kind of power." OR! We make conlangs!
  15. Canadian English is a separate variant? What're the differences? I vote British English
