The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
"We can give you some of our technology, but what we want is access to Invested Arts and other magics. Sandy already has ways to grant us fullborn compounding and chromaturgy, when the time is right, but he does not have the means to give us anything more."- 111830 replies

The Battle for the Sandwich
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
"No magic is kind of unfair. I'm a fullborn, and I need it to stay alive. However, Sandy can get Jerome almost any magic system to balance it out." Yeah right now only Named (Prism) and Harper (Orange+Green) are drafters, and Harper hasn't even used it yet. I'll fix that eventually, but I must first cement the rule of the Seven Satrapies. Lumar Hunger Games

Rayer, deciding that if they wanted to stab him, it wouldn't matter what he did, took Stylan's hand. "Rayer," he said. -

18142 walks up to Renn. "What kind of power do you need? I can make you a fullborn and give you chromaturgy. I'm also working with the Trisolarans to make a suit of armour, combining many different magic systems, to grant invulnerability to all physical and almost all magical attacks, except the straight-up reality altering ones. We still need to figure out how to make one immune to black holes."- 111830 replies

Lumar Hunger Games
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to Through the Living Hope's topic in Hunger Games
Rayer followed slowly. "Uhh... friend," Rayer stammered. Any of these three could stab him at any moment. -
Just finished a solo Terraforming Mars game. I think I found a free trading 'hack'.
I play with Venus and Colonies, and there's these two cards
One's Titan Floating Launch-Pad, which lets you either add a floater to the card or spend one to trade
The other's Cryo Sleep, which lets you pay one less resource when trading
Normally, it means you pay 2 energy instead of 3 or 2 titanium instead of 3
But because with Titan Floating Launch-Pad, it's a single floater...
Free trading!
I won the game, and got 99 VPs. My best so far.

But usefulness makes it less impressive You memorise sqrt(2) for brute-forcing stuff I memorise π for the sake of memorising it

KSauce drew in stormlight and healed the missing half of his skull. He then sat down close to the duel and began eating. -
So what you're saying is memorising sqrt(2) is more useful But this thread is not for things that are useful No one ever actually uses more than 30 digits of π It's why I memorise it Of course, there's also people who do it for π memorising contests, but those contests exist partly for this reason

KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
"If such a contest is to occur, representatives from Arrakis @Ookla the Incorrigible will also need to select a champion, making this a three-way duel. The Champion representing Seven Satrapies will be the Emperor of the Chromerian Empire, High Luxlord and Highest Luxiat, Prism Named." Named, eyes swirling with colour, steps forward. "We need to decide on the terms of this contest," he says.- 13683 replies
