Just finished a solo Terraforming Mars game. I think I found a free trading 'hack'.
I play with Venus and Colonies, and there's these two cards
One's Titan Floating Launch-Pad, which lets you either add a floater to the card or spend one to trade
The other's Cryo Sleep, which lets you pay one less resource when trading
Normally, it means you pay 2 energy instead of 3 or 2 titanium instead of 3
But because with Titan Floating Launch-Pad, it's a single floater...
Free trading!
I won the game, and got 99 VPs. My best so far.

A 5 minute rain just ended.
I feel like they're becoming more common. I don't remember this many this time last year.

I have an idea. I have 2 more name changes. I'm going to do 2 more Ookla names. It means I'll have to wait a bit to change back to KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren, but I'm fine with that.
I want the other two to be book references, but I must decide which.
What I've though of so far:
- Ookla the Lightbringer (Lightbringer Series and Red Rising Series, both have Lightbringers)
- Ookla the Wallfacer (Rememberance of Earth's Past Trilogy)
- Ookla the Heirophant (Founder's Trilogy)

So there's a scene in The Burning White that is quite something.
Can't remember the exact words, but it goes something like this:
(It's not really a spoiler, I'm not even saying names, but I'm tagging it just to be safe)
SpoilerSo someone asks, "How many troops does the enemy have?" or something like that
"Twenty thousand"
Someone else says, "She's joking, it's probably one thousand."
And then another person says, "Nine hundred and sixteen."
And they all stared at him and asked, "Did you count all of them?"
And he's like, "Of course not. Why does everyone else always guess round numbers? They’re not any more likely."

For those of you who don't know what Melbourne weather's like
Yesterday, it was somewhat cloudy and otherwise good weather
Then faster than you can say 'Stormfather', it became so windy that it I could barely hear what people were saying
Then, it started hailing
Hail, and it's meant to be summer in under 3 weeks!
And then 5 minutes later it stopped
Just like that
