This story made no sense, it was utterly contrived. Tin Capone was glad that his own creator hadn't stooped to such nonsense.

I think I'm fine not voting here myself because we have a two point lead (would take five Investiture to get Verdance exed over Myst, and for Reasons™ I am fairly confident no one has that much) on the Myst exe and I don't want to make it harder for us to exe who we want to in the next MetaCycle. Sorry Myst, but I think this makes the most sense here.
