  1. Everyone stops being distracted and slide tackles Jerome.
  2. I dunno. I just looked at the map and though ooh, the top bit of that triangle island looks appealing. Let's do that one.
  3. It feels wrong, but I can't think of any reason why they couldn't. However, I would guess that the strength enhancement would stack as well, which would make the multiple Plates extremely unwieldy and impractical to use unless you are okay with a lot of collateral damage.
  4. I don't think you're waiting on Taeidin I think you're waiting on me lol He takes it left.
  5. I firmly chastise him for his disloyalty.
  6. Oh that's interesting. Now I have to repress my urge to spend the next few hours figuring out what each question's value changes and is weighed towards so I can see if it's really balanced.
  7. I edited mine.
  8. Taeidin, now certain at least that proceeding as he would would not get him anywhere, returns to the place where he had discovered an extra passage and proceeds down it, this time turning to the right.
  9. Why is it symmetrical? The confusion is real right now. Taeidin turns left, knowing that if the pattern repeats again he would theoretically have phased through the wall of one of his previous paths, and thus know for a fact that the complex is not normal.
  10. Taeidin, wanting to be certain, heads down the way to the left.
  11. That is an acceptable trade. I allow Bartholomew to do this. However, when Vie transforms it into a sandwich, Bartholomew rages and bonks her in the forehead, then nabs the sandwich and runs away like a coward.
  12. He expected this, and decides to try the corridor to the right.
  13. Taeidin decides to go left at the fork to test what he originally thought.
  14. I was just thinking about this the other day. I agree with most of your points, including the continued progression of Nightblood to be able to grant at least some other magics. We do know that when Nightblood first tries to use Surgebinding during Szeth's duel in the CR, Nightblood failed, instead creating a large blast of power when in contact with the Edgedancer Honorblade. I would like to think that this, not being something that Nightblood could already do or that is normally granted by the surges, is a sign that Nightblood could potentially find that they can get abilities of their own outside of those from preestablished magic systems. I also think that, potentially in addition to the reasons for Nightblood's change that you listed, Nightblood is and has been sentient and so is capable of changing how they interpret the Command, with reason to do so and enough willpower.
  15. Awesome art!
  16. were a thing Jan had
  17. Bartholomew reads the book, learning of this secure location, to which he goes and takes the sandwich.
  18. gotta admit, that's not what I thought was going on here Taeidin starts down this new path.
  19. I was on a bus a few days ago and I was just randomly struck by inspiration to retell the story of the Wandersail in my own style, but make it much darker (because stories are always better that way). I couldn't get the thought out of my head and well... here we are. Lemme know what you think! (spoilered for size) I took some artistic liberties that strayed from the actual Roshar & story in making this, but I think it turned out a little better that way.
  20. That whole end scene was definitely nothing like how I expected it to go down, but I also somehow didn't realise that Oathbound wasn't the last book in the series until I had finished it. I would have loved to see like a short little epilogue at the very end from Sel's perspective, but overall the cliffhanger was pretty well rounded.
