    The "conflict" seems simple enough to me since honorspren love the "truth" and Cryptics love excellent lies. Makes them natural enemies or gives them something to constantly argue about.

    I really don't think Rock meant anything by calling the broam a "him". He was just making it sound special since it would be what provided them with excellent spices for the food.

    I didn't vote at all since I don't really like the choices. None of them seem "right" and picking one because it seems a little right seems like the wrong thing to do.

    It doesn't really matter what his reasons were. He killed his men for a weapon. Reminds me of Ahmann Jardir from the Demon Cycle series... Anyway, even if Amaram is trying to save the world, he did it while screwing Kaladin. He chose the utterly wrong moment to show us his bad side. He could save a thousand people tommorrow, but it doesn't bring back Kaladin's men. Kaladin may protect and preserve Amaram's life, but he will never forgive him.

    More like by the middle of the book. We don't have to be with them every step of the way, and it shouldn't take 62 days to go from Kharbranth to the shattered plains, especially by sea.

    I think Kaladin finding about Amaram and Dalinar's acquaintance will postpone his Surgebinding revelation until Szeth comes.

    Seriously, whenever Kaladin is describing Adolin it sounds like he's describing Moash. Moash is to Kaladin as Adolin is to Dalinar

    Amaram didn't even remember meeting Kaladin or why Kaladin enlisted in the army when he betrayed him. I doubt he'll be prepared to see Kaladin again or even remember the significance of Roshone's area. It'll be a long time before the idea to take advantage of Kaladin's parents even occurs to anyone.

    I think I'm more intersted in Kaladin having emotional moments with his spear Some of the best scenes in WOK have to do with Kaladin dancing with or resisting the lure of "the spear" *wink* *wink*. Brandon makes Kaladin dancing with his spear sound better than sex, drugs, and alcohol lol.

    Navani was saying some negative things about Gavilar at the end of Wok so it might be him...maybe he became a better person later on...

    Uh Kaladin is an amazing spearbearer but he still has KR skills. Your idea isn't very well supported and seems to be focused on balancing out Renarin for some reason. Renarin's gonna be doing his own sword training soon so he might show some *amazing* skills as well. Too early to decide that Renarin won't have great fighting skills. And I hated Gawyn povs, and I'd rather that this series didn't emulate WoT. WoT had it's high points and it's low points, and thankfully it's done so let's move on to something new.

    Maybe Renarin will lose his life trying to save Dalinar, and Dalinar will say the most important words a man can say (I'm trolling to find out the extent of feather's wrath hehe)

    Part of the reason I see a Kaladin x Jasnah pairing is that Jasnah seems to have had trouble with men before. I often thought that she became so independent/strong because some man took advantage of her (maybe Gavilar, Navani says he wasn't all that awesome) and now she doesn't really trust men anymore. I feel like Kaladin could heal that rift in her heart . And maybe she could heal the damage Laral did to him concerning light eyed women. Give and take relationship.

    I got the feeling that Tarah was apart of Kaladin's dead people regret list. And Kaladin will have one more book of flashbacks, so there is more to be explained.
