Alright, so I consider my favorite book, ORV, to be a pretty big aspect of my personality
I also realize that their may be a lot of you I haven't attempted to convert yet.
So.
TIME FOR A VERY LONG SU THAT I WILL PROBABLY REMAKE INTO A BLOG SO I CAN GIVE IT TO OTHER PEOPLE/COPY AND PASTE IT WHEN I WANT TO RECOMMEND ORV TO THEM!!!
History tiiiiiiiiiime!
SpoilerSo, a long long time ago, in a land far, far away, there was a forum called Introduce Yourself
And I was active.
Scarily active.
I would ask every person the same question.
This has become one of my greatest regrets.
"How do you feel on Ebooks/Webnovels?" I would ask, and they would reply
"Their okay"/"I don't really care" or "I prefer irl books" in a paraphrase.
If they said 'sure', then I would come.
First, I would add them to a PM known as 'People who Promised to Read ORV'. It quickly gained tens of members. It ended at 43 members.
Then I would give them the Link to ORV.
The mods quickly found out my charade.
Through complaints of the added, the removed, the left.
Taln fan sent me a message to stop.
Feeling shame, and horror, at what I had done. I slowly crept back into the shadows.
Promised to read quickly stagnated, and eventually I even killed it.
End of history lesson.
Anyway, you know my greatest regret (and the main reason I have a PM folder called whoopsies with 7 messages in it).
Now, I still do have a PM, just a different one too Promised. It is called 'People who are Actually reading ORV'.
I always ask for peoples permission before adding them (oh yeah @Rynturning_Light would you like to be added?) and now I will recommend you, yes, you, ORV.
First, however, a disclaimer.
Although I love ORV for this, it contains references and major plot points centered around suicide. If you do not like those things, then I understand you not wanting to read it.
It is also a Webnovel, which means it is only available online (unless you print the whole thing out, lol). On top of that, it is translated from Korean, which means you have to give it some level of the benefit of the doubt if you wish to enjoy it. Lastly, it is 551 chapters long (no known page count) and it has plenty of extra content (other webnovels in the same universe, side stories, & a sequel).
If you are fine with the Suicidal references, Korean Translation, Internet-only access, and length, then I definitely recommend you read it.
Like I said, it is my favorite book.
And if those dont work for you, feel free to get the PDFs or epubs from here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1pH3eWXViNIvS5yEhjez5NiK3pKx4g6fm
(And only look at orv_main, the other files are the side stories, sequel, and other webnovel in the same universe)
(I am constantly updating the drive)next, I will give my 2 recommended reading orders.
The first is the less recommended one, but one I will give nonetheless.
Just ORV. I would love for you to read ORV, and you just reading ORV is enough for me. If you want to stop there, that is fine, and I respect that.
The second one is if you wish to continue on with ORV after the main story.
SpoilerMain ORV
The World After The Fall Unrevised + Side Stories
The World After The Fall Revised (currently only available on webtoon) chapters 90-175 (on webtoon)
ORV side stories (all 4 of them)
ORV sequel (ongoing
That is my rant, thank you for listening.
