  1. I never knew that anyone could screw up time travel paradoxes so badly, but this movie did

    its very terrible, but very fun to watch with the intent of poking fun at all the holes in their logic/cgi/special effect

The lesson to take away If a single digit repeats before and after the decimal place infinitely, that number is equal to 0 Do you want proof, my inquisitive friend? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Watson! My calculator! Imagine a number. 0.111111111… (1s repeating to infinity) This number can be called x 10x = 1.11111111… 1.1111111… is just x + 1 10x = x + 1 9x = 1 x = 1/9 So, 1 repeating infinitely to the right of the decimal is equal to 1/9 But… imagine a different number. Call the number y. y = …11111111111 (1s extending higher and higher to the left of the decimal point) Where x had a finite value, y is infinitely large.       if you make the number large enough, it becomes negative and approaches 0 sorta

      Have you heard that 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 … = -1/12 ?

       

      (this is found by the following logic, which I will make better in the morning):

      1 - 1 + 1 - 1 … = C

      1 - C = 1 - 1 + 1 - 1 … = C

      1 - C = C

      C = 1/2

      C - C + C - C … = 1 - (1 + 1) + (1 + 1 + 1) - (1 - 1 - 1 - 1) … = 1 - 2 + 3 - 4 … = 1/4 [This looks confusing I have an explanation for it but it’s difficult to type]
       

      1 - 2 + 3 - 4 … = S = C^2

      1 + 2 + 3 + 4 … = F

      S - F = - 4 - 8 - 12 - 16 …

      S - F = -4F

      S = -3F

      -3F = 1/4

      F = -1/12)

I disagree I think there’s a separate conversion for Investiture <-> Energy and Investiture <-> Matter Like there would be three equations in total and you would consider them separately Momentum is there because of relativity n stuff—physics acts weird for observers of something when it goes fast at least that’s how I understand it Other tangent question, hedging onto WaT territory
