    So... I made a New Year's Resolution to finish my book this year. And as of today, I have added approximately... 10 words. So I'm going to try this. If anybody is interested, I'll PM you the new chapter (or more realistically few pages) at a REGULAR INTERVAL. This is the most important part. I need to feel like I must deliver. Give feedback in thread. This is just to see who I should send the first chapter to.

    No one knows. There are lots of topics on this question, but it's really just subjective. I went Stormlight - Mistborn - Elantris - Warbreaker, I think, but that's just me. This is the one I gave my friend who's just starting out: WoK Warbreaker WoR MB Era 1 OB MB Era 2 RoW Elantris WaT { Arcanum Unbounded Tress Yumi TSM IotE } Also, this type of topic is probably better suited for the Cosmere Discussion subforum, as the Q&A is more for lore questions that have definitive answers.

    Welcome to the Shard! Do you mean that you haven't read the Stormlight books after Edgedancer, or just the Cosmere books after ED overall?

    The Shining. Read it. It's beautifully written and actually quite terrifying, but to get the real experience you have to read it at night. There is a great balance of gore, so the amount King puts in is just enough to make it feel even scarier, without being gross. Trigger warning: one of the main plotlines is child abuse. Other than that I don't know. Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None is good, and her much less-beloved book By the Pricking of My Thumbs has some pretty creepy moments.

    Nightblood can't kill a god. Nightblood can kill a Vessel. I don't think Hoid having the Dawnshard would have any effect on Nighblood's function, other than he could probably hold it longer.

    Read: A ton of romance novels for a book club. I hate myself. Currently reading: The Shining I'm almost done, but so far my reaction has been in the positive. This is my first time trying horror, and I was not disappointed. Incredible.

    No, they're spren. Or at the least, they're benign, so probably not Unmade.

    Maybe they're lonely and they want to see what it's like here. Ideally, they shouldn't be able to get any information about you from these pages. I don't think they're stalkers, though, because it would be pretty easy to make an account to appear less suspicious. They're probably just browsing. I mean, community stuff has (I think) TLT, TBftS, etc.

    Welcome to the Shard! Please consider an Intro Post to let us know what you have and haven't read! Also check the Sharder FAQ for more information! Lastly, please note that the pronouns field isn't a second title, it's a serious space so that everyone knows what to call you I think that we've heard from Odium about Valor being dangerous, and that's probably because its Intent is very combat-focused.

    I mean, we all know that someone lives at that address, so really, it would make the people who know you less likely to hunt you down and kill you, because we like you.

    The Princess Bride (reread for a book club), by Henry Goldman I actually really enjoyed this book, and it has a very refreshing story. However, Would recommend. Ball Lightning, by Cixin Liu Disappointing. I needed another book and this was by the same person who wrote The Three Body Problem. This book is not The Three Body Problem. Worth a read, just don't expect the emotion, political science, science, or emotion of The Three Body Problem.
