  1. It pains me. So ME PAIN IT
  2. Why have you done this to us? To us this done you have. Why?
  3. The series as a whole is pretty great, especially with how many there are. They all have a similar story: mystery, make-out session, mystery, then at about 85% they capture the guy except it's the WRONG GUY, then they catch him. They are all very entertaining, though, and there is genuine suspense. Are any of his other books any good?
  4. Over spring break, I got into the Alex Cross series from James Patterson. Along Came a Spider Okay, pretty mild compared to the others. Kiss the Girls I felt like I was losing a bit of morality with this one, but interesting story. Jack and Jill Strong opening, did go downhill. Cat and Mouse Not the most memorable story, but not bad either. Pop Goes the Weasel Again, not the most memorable story, but pretty good. It does stray into the courtroom, which I can tell isn't Patterson's strongest suit. Roses are Red and Violets are Blue These two together were probably my favorite. They were interesting but didn't make me fear for my life that much. Four Blind Mice Okay. Currently reading: Big Bad Wolf by James Patterson
  5. I do feel really bad for not participating (especially after looking through the dead doc, though I deserved it). I will give a lame explanation, though. I really do love this game. The problem is that I'll have school most games, and there's no wifi at school, so I'll come home and there'll be 5 new pages, but I'm súper beat after school. I'll tell myself "that's too many, but I'll read them later" Then later comes, and there'll be 4 more. Then I'll tell myself "that's too many, I'll read them later, after all, I have all afternoon and night." Then it just piles up, and I don't vote because I don't want to vote for the wrong person. Or, like this last week, I'll do something with my family, and the sams thing will happen. So, sorry Doc, I know how much you "hate it" when I don't post I know I hate it when people do this, but I actually have felt bad and figured I owed an explanation. (Ironically, this is the longest post I've done all game)
  6. I was assuming that it was done in space, if it's near a planet and it's not at 1st cosmic velocity, it will fall and probably destroy the planet.
  7. Also, what's the tensile strength of steel? At what point would this just spin itself into another—admittedly still deadly—superweapon of shrapnel?
  8. Could you make this happen in a vacuum (which is where you have to build it)? I don’t think Breath motion works this way...

  11. Welcome to the Shard! You've arrived at the best place on the Internet, filled with the best people, the best desserts, and the best murderous animals! Here are a couple of tips to help you settle in to your new place as a cog in the Grand Apparatus that is the Shard: 1. Join S(anderson) E(limination). 2. Familiarize yourself with the most important forums: SE, Cosmere Q&A, and SE. 3. Tell us which books you have and haven't read (this helps us avoid spoilers)you already did this but I don't want to change the numbers 4. HAVE FUN! Make friends! 5.
  12. Here's my reasoning. There are (probably) 3 elims in <Wahr, Twin, Ink, TJ, Miss Fallen, Aet, TUM, Mint>. Out of all of those, I'm convinced TJ is village, mainly from the Ravenclaw PM, but also just in general. <Wahr, Twin, Ink, Miss Fallen, Aet, TUM, Mint>. I trust Twin, because of pretty good analysis. <Wahr, Ink, Miss Fallen, Aet, TUM, Mint>. I'm honestly not sure about Ink, because they could have just forgotten to use Protego (I feel that!). TUM is probably my -2 vote, but I'll see where logic gets me. I think that with there being 6 votes in this game, it's easier for a villager to be voted by elims. Twin has a point with Wahr, who will be my negative 3. Miss Fallen. Hmmmm. Their posts have gotten slightly less helpful as time went on, could show pressure and difficulty finding village things to say. Here's what I think. An elim team of <TUM, Wahr, and Miss Fallen>. If there are four, Ink. My vote is +3 TJ, +2 Twin, -1 Miss Fallen, -2 TUM, -3 Wahr. Submitting now so I don't forget...
  13. I'm reading through C1 right now. Even if we hopefully can solve tonight, I feel really bad about how this game turned out, so hopefully I can at least contribute something between conference sessions tomorrow. Again, sorry that I was inactive, I do regret it.

  17. I think there are lots of threads about this already, but what I really think it comes down to is what you consider a fan. I love Halo. So much. Genuinely one of my favorite pieces of media. I haven't read the books. The Reach book came out before Halo: CE, and I haven't read it. I still call myself a Halo fan. If the T.V. series introduces people to Kaladin's story of recovery from depression or the movies to Vin learning to trust, I love that. Maybe those people haven't read the books, but if they want to call themselves fans of Brandon Sanderson (not Sanderson books, mind you) because the movies have made an impact on them, fine. Do I want them to go into lore discussions and talk about the movies where the rule of cool is most important? No. Do I want them to go and read the books after watching the movies? Absolutely! Again, I know Halo has made an impact on me. It's a beautiful game series. I know the books go into more lore, but I'm of the opinion that I can still call myself a Halo fan because I LIKE IT. If you want to tell me that I'm not a Halo fan because I haven't read the books, and if you want to tell people who have just watched the movies that they aren't Brandon Sanderson fans, go crazy. Again, this isn't the best place for this discussion and if you want to talk further in a dedicated topic, I'd be happy to.
  18. Reads right now: v!Drake, because making jokes about being an elim is harder when your actually an elim, at least in my experience. v!Mippo, really chill which is hard to do as a new elim v!coco, because...vibes e?TJ, because...vibes. My least confident read E!DOC because I do not trust anymore (and also weird analysis post which I will link soon)
