  1. Both of them have F-words, so if you're uncomfortable with that, probably not the 3-Body Problem. Project Hail Mary has 2, so if you really don't want to read those you probably will be fine just blipping over them. Other than that, Project Hail Mary is very clean, little to no violence, nothing sexual (there is one scene of innuendo, but nothing actually happens). It's very clean. The 3-Body Problem is a little dirtier. It would probably be rated R, but only because of mature themes. There is a little more swearing, with probably around 8 f-words, but they're pretty clustered, so you should be fine. There is some violence, but I don't know your tolerance level. Be prepared for some adult themes, though, as the series is definitely meant for adults. Nothinging sexual. The book opens during the Chinese Revolution, so naturally is can be a little violent. I'd say definitely PHM, it's very clean (at least I think), and try the 3-Body Problem, and if you're uncomfortable, then stop. If you give me more information about your tolerances then I can give you more info.
  2. I ALWAYS DO THE SE PLUG Welcome to the Shard! You've arrived at the best place on the Internet, filled with the best people, the best desserts, and the best murderous animals! Here are a couple of tips to help you settle in to your new place as a cog in the Grand Apparatus that is the Shard: 1. Join S(anderson) E(limination). 2. Familiarize yourself with the most important forums: SE, Cosmere Q&A, and SE. 3. Tell us which books you have and haven't read (this helps us avoid spoilers) 4. HAVE FUN! Make friends! 5. As for book recommendations, I really love the Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu (it isn't for everyone, though), and of course Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir is in my top 10. What type of book are you looking for?
  3. Great! I'm almost done with the next section, but I'll give you guys what I've got!
  4. Granted, but instead you feel undeniable lust toward yourself which drives you mad with desire (I couldn't think of any other emotions that weren't variants of hate) I wish that @Ati_Simp knew fae's not alone in faer struggles.
  5. Granted. The market collapses in the next week and you're only insured up to $250,000. I wish for a friend IRL
  6. Moment Zero is probably in my top 3 Sanderson books. The others are okay, but like someone said, they always have a YA feel, which I don't like. I did love Reckoners when I read it, but I don't dare re-read it (having read the Cosmere now) in case it's worse.
  7. Granted, but after you do, every Shard gets a turn torturing you for breaking an agreement. I wish that @Ati_Simp would avoid WaT spoilers
  8. It's not your fault; they look like the same button.
  9. The "Next" and "Prev"? Make sure that you're hitting the words, not the two arrows.
  10. Granted, but your poor wording means that nothing is accomplished because you can't buy something free I wish that I didn't have to post a wish after responding to someone.
  11. Granted. However, the book is reversed and the backwards code is indecipherable except by Sophie from the Da Vinci Code. I wish that this thread was real but without the consequences.
  12. Granted. However they're all body-snatched and you're the only human being left. I wish to do discover the formula for the universe, then publish it successfully in every known language.
  13. You have to do it in about 30 minutes, past that it just leaves them as two.
  14. It doesn't on my phone, so I'm not sure. Also, if you click the three dots in the top right, you can edit your post, which is generally preferred to posting twice. Thanks!
  15. Granted. You just constantly feel small amounts of pain. I wish to actually be motivated to finish my book, and then do it exactly as I want it to be.

  17. Granted. Some are actually bombs. I wish for the Skybreaking Honorblade, as it is at the beginning of WaT.
  18. Granted. You can't choose which body parts you keep when you teleport. I wish that everyone on the Shard follows me and Chaos makes me an admistrator. I keep these followers forever and they never dislike me.
  19. Granted. You can only do it on the other side of the world. I wish for authorized, signed, and leatherbound Tor and/or Dragonsteel copies of all Brandon Sanderson books that are perfectly identical to a perfect copy.
  20. Granted. It's graded on a curve and no one else has homework required (but it's extra credit) I wish for a girlfriend
  21. Some one else feels the struggle! (I love em-dashes). @ThatOneGuyOverThereThe only thing I noticed was that at the end "I" didn't make sense. You hadn't said that you were talking to the future Millennials. Other than that, it was pretty good!
