  1. The greatest show, from the Greatest Showman.
  2. Ah. I've only read the shadow stuff, never had access to game.
  3. Dang it, you beat me. I really want to read Boatload of Mummies. It checks a lot of boxes: Explore Era 2 Nazh, you know, it's funny (we know nothing about him) (except in IoTE) Explore Mistborn stuff + chromium Title makes me think Hemalurgy will be explored further Get to see what Stewart is like
  4. I doubt it’s just knowledge, as all the Heralds—some of whom were realmatically aware, acted normally. I think yes? It might require more investiture or duralumin or something, but I think so. I mean, Taravangian took the blackthorn who had Dalinar’s memories. Of course, this may be significantly difficult and require Fortune or something, but I think this is for sure possible.
  5. Looked it up, haven’t read it. It does sound interesting. This’ll probably be easy. The palace still shook occasionally as the earth rumbled in memory, groaned as if it would deny what had happened.
  6. Umm… Throw it away? WWYDIYF the One Ring. "What have I got in my pocket?” -Bilbo Baggins
  7. Yay
  8. Aradan Liese, Underground, Meeting Place “Oof!” Aradan fell, dropping the shotgun he held, head spinning. Oh no. I’ve made a terrible mistake in coming here. Blood drizzling down his face, he knew that he was on the edge of unconsciousness. What…was that? Something incredibly large or incredibly strong crashed into me. I have to get out of here. Tapping gold to heal only the most vital injuries and flaring pewter as hard he could, Aradan shakily rose. Blinking, he saw a cloaked woman approaching him with two disguised guards with canes. Pulling out another pistol, he aimed at—the gun was knocked out of his hands by one of the guards wielding a cane. Stumbling back, Aradan grabbed at his quarterstaff, only coming up with splinters. (A rather large one of which stabbed him in the leg, but he doesn’t notice this right now.) This is bad. Pewter and gold the only reasons I’m still standing. Raising his fists, he punched one of the guards in the face, doing damage Aradan was too preoccupied to look at. While he did this, the other guard slammed his leg hard with a cane. Crack. Something’s broken. Probably more than one thing. That man got a fist in the face. A shot rang out in the air, from where he knew not. All Aradan knew was that it ripped through his thigh, embedding itself. Looking up and delirious with pain, he noticed the lights embedded in the ceiling looked damaged, probably from he previous Pull. Pulling on them, he zipped up and grabbed the large chandelier. Scanning the room, Aradan saw many corpses and other shocked, dazed, stunned, and unconscious beings. Heh. At least I gave a fight. Men were shouting, more and more guards flooding into the cavern from direction whence he knew nothing about. Crack. The chandelier fell, and Aradan with it. Perhaps, perhaps I could have done better, even escaped, was I well rested and gold reserves filled. The cavern was plunged into darkness. He rose once again, grabbing the wooden shard out of his leg. He swung out blindly, hearing at least one scream. Slap. Recoiling from the unknown assailant, Aradan’s head hung, whether from resignation or exhaustion, he knew not. He rose again, only for another blow to strike him, body shuddering, ribs cracking. Strong arms came from behind, and held his arms tight. Metal reserves vanished from chromium, the man holding him began dragging him along some unknown path. Everything went black. @Steel Speedster@Mistfallen Soldier
  9. Probably in a lab somewhere. Who do you ship TLR with?
  10. I BEGIN this week’s letter as I awake to a mighty headache. I have no idea.
  11. I thought it wasn’t stronger so much as the DO allowed the Forsaken to use far more of it compared to their regular channeling ability. Honestly, I think the True Power might destroy Nightblood similar to the cleansing of the taint. The True Power is inherently destructive and can destroy cuendillar, something probably similar to Tanavastium. Nightblood would draw more and more of it, eventually destroying itself as the True Power would probably attack it. Regardless of a durability standpoint, I think that Callandor is more powerful, in addition to being designed to channel the True Power. The sa’angreal channels and amplifies the TP, Nightblood would just try to eat it.
  12. I always saw it like a vector. The amount of investiture is your magnitude, and it also has a direction or alignment.
  13. Fahrenheit 451? I’ll go. It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.
  14. I haven't finished licanius, though I hear it's good. Warbreaker is free on Brandon's website. You would burn lerasium? Haha, very funny. Wheel of Time is a big commitment. You don't have to do it all at once. Oh, you have to choose between TWoK through O or TFE as your favorite/least favorite... (They are some of the best). If that's all you've read, I strongly recommend you stay away from the Stormlight, Mistborn, and Cosmere Discussion subforums. There are 6 Mistborn books (and a novella), 2 Stormlight books (and 2 novellas), and like a bajillion other Cosmere books. You will get spoiled in a confusing and major way. Stuff like "x died," "x turned evil," or "x Ascended to a Shard." Spoilers that will significantly change how you view series as you continue through them.
  15. Yeah, you clearly got me beat at Arda lore. I need to reread the Silmarillion anyways.
  16. The Stranger: (if that’s too generic, than we can call him Strang Eres)
  17. Doc, I’m looking through the elim doc, like what? You’re so manipulative. You didn’t even start elim, so you were genuinely trying to be nice and investigate people, but then you turned into a prolific liar overnight (overnight for me at least).
  18. “His name shall be Discord, and they shall love him for it” (Paraphrasing). I think that, clearly, the Terris prophecies still have more. And yet, Preservation’s favorite ruler was the immortal tyrant. Change for the sake of change is bad, but some change is always necessary. Are they well-recorded because they were exceptions? Or is it easy to believe that they were exceptions because those events are well-recorded? You can name a nearly infinite amount of tragedies, misery, death, and unfairness. No, I don’t believe it is. Although Tolkien denied it’s war allegory, it very much was influenced by it. LOTR, Silmarillion, everything else in Arda (I want to be cautious) Spoilers:
  19. Alone in and with a pile of corpses, Dr. Fooled me. I never really trusted Jo, but I did Doc and Mist. Yes, me as well. I looked, and I think the main problem is that your first vote was a jump on a train, then you suddenly switched votes seemingly without reason.
  20. If you were a Returned, what would your Returned name be? If you were a misting/ferring, what power would you like to have the most? Have you read the Wheel of Time? What cosmere books have you read/not read (whichever is shorter)? Least favorite book?
