  1. Tapping wakefulness gives all the benefits of actual sleep. I'm pretty sure there was a WoB about it, but I can't find it right now.
  2. Thav, The Corridor, The Silver Dagger Thav deposited the 18 boxings and 44 clips onto the counter, thanked the shopkeeper, and walked out of the shop, stashing his purchases in his bag. Once he was a safe distance away, he retrieved the vials of bronze and steel and pulled out some empty vials of his own. He emptied half of each vial into an empty one, mixing together the bronze and steel. Swinging the bag back over his shoulder, he started off once again, heading back to the hideout. @Koloss17 @Karnatheon
  3. That would work for me.
  4. Personally, I would probably want to wrap up the Silver Dagger scene (I’ll try to get to that later today), since that’s almost over. Fenna’s current scene might not end for a while, so we don’t need to wait on that. EDIT: Didn’t get to it today. I should have some time tomorrow though.
  5. Palava, New Hallandren, IRS weapon depot Palava noted Tulen pointedly ignoring Farenah’s hand. She could already tell that working with him might be…difficult. @Stormlightsong @SpiritOfWrath
  6. At this point, you could probably jump in whenever you feel like it. Fenna and Leon have split up though, so you’ll have to pick which, if either, you want Vane to meet right now. In short, whatever you want to do works for me.
  7. Fenna, New Hallandren Fenna brought herself to a sudden stop, then stored weight and threw herself sideways, flipping across the street and landing on the roof on the opposite side. She took off in that direction, hoping the sudden 90-degree turn would throw off the pursuit and buy her a small amount of time. Leaping across another street, she spotted a large building one more street over and launched herself towards it. Tapping weight, she crashed through a window on the third floor.
  8. Fenna rolled backwards as something flashed towards her from the side. Something bounced off her ankle as she did so and spun away. Fenna looked up in anger as Leon launched himself away. She had gone along with this because she assumed he had some sort of plan. But apparently he was just winging it, and now was content to leave her to deal with the aftermath. Fenna stored weight and launched herself forward over the ring on guards. She fired downwards as she passed overhead and landed on top of a nearby roof. Re-holstering her gun and securing the spear to her belt, she took off across the roof. @Koloss17
  9. Fenna whipped around as a dart hit her in the arm. She was forced to drop her gun to yank it out, keeping a firm grip on the first guard. It was unlikely that one dart had enough sedative to knock her out while she burned pewter, but if she took too many it might work. She dropped into a roll, slamming her hostage into the ground, and snatched her gun from the ground along with a fallen spear. Coming up in a crouching position, Fenna leveled the spear at one of the fallen guards and her gun towards those surrounding her. She planted a foot on the second injured guard’s back and tapped weight—not enough to do serious damage—but enough to hurt. This was not a good situation. She glanced at Leon hoping he had some plan. …Though at this point she was doubtful.
  10. I’m thinking that some version of going on the run inside the district. One scenario (kind of boring, but plausible) is Fenna and Leon simply being forced to run and hide. They’re both fast and mobile, and could probably eventually outmaneuver the guards. If @Lord Ruler Sylphrena’s character gets involved, something more peaceable might be worked out. He is a Returned (or at least looks like one), and a Rioter with duralumin. I’m not sure how much authority a Returned has in New Hallandren, but he might be able to work something out, or at the least cause some distraction with a mass duralumin Rioting. This, of course, is all dependent on whether he would want to intervene in the first place. If it’s left up to Fenna and Leon, Fenna will probably follow his lead, (unless that involves going to jail, which she’s unlikely to do willingly in any scenario.)
  11. I'd like to see what @Koloss17 has the Nalthian guards do first, but I'll let you know when I think it would be a good moment. Should be pretty soon, I think.
  12. Yeah, I think that could work.
  13. Fenna felt a spike of annoyance at Leon. Was this his plan? How were they supposed to deal with all of this? With a quick move, Fenna grabbed the guard she had just shot, dragging him upright and tearing his cloak off with her other hand. Locking him in a chokehold, she trained her gun on the guard she had kicked as she joined the fight, who still lay crumpled on the ground nearby. It felt like a dirty move, but, well, Fenna wasn’t supposed to care about that anymore. “Stay back!” she demanded. “I’m giving you one chance to save your friends’ lives.”
  14. Fenna cursed, discarding the ropes and hopped backwards lightly, then drew her gun and fired directly at one of the guards.
  15. Fenna, New Hallandren Fenna crossed her arms, grabbing a handful of rope from the opposite one in each hand and pulled, breaking it into smaller pieces yet. This wasn't exactly what she had planned--she had hoped that breaking the rope would also cancel the Awakening--but eventually, the ropes would become too small to do anything significant. She dashed towards one of the guards, swinging the fragments of rope, she had pulled off--each about three feet long, at his spear.
  16. Fenna, New Hallandren Fenna grabbed the rope as Leon dodged it, allowing it to wrap around her arm and grabbed the other end with her free hand. She flared pewter, ripping it into two pieces.
  17. @Lord Ruler Sylphrena Once your character gets approved, would you be interested in having your character meet Fenna and Leon (as long as @TwinStorm likes the idea)? I thought that could be an interesting interaction.
  18. I'm no physicist, but I think that at best you might get a small aerial boost. Normal jumping works because you're pushing off of the ground, which is far more massive than you are. In contrast, the air is far less massive than you, so I don't think increasing the air's friction is going to keep it in one place well enough for you to push yourself up. If anything, Adhesion might have better luck with this sort of thing, since it's the Surge of Pressure and Vacuum. If you were to pressurize the air beneath you enough, you might be able to get some decent aerial lift, although considering that Windrunners can already fly, this would be practically useless for them.
  19. Fenna, New Hallandren Fenna landed on her side then flipped backwards landing lightly on her feet next to Leon. The guards were disengaging, but not retreating. She grabbed a metal vial from her belt and downed it, replenishing her pewter, which had been running low. Gone were the days where she constantly worried about running out of metal—she carried enough to last several days, and had even more vials stashed back in the Mistwarrens. @TwinStorm
  20. @Stormlightsong Quick question about an ISD, since Palava has one. From my understanding, it works much like A-bronze, but I was wondering how much precision it has. A skilled Seeker could tell exactly what the kinetic Investiture was doing (what metal for example.) Can ISDs do that, or just detect whether or not there is Investiture being used? Also, does the person have to be actively using the ISD to detect anything, or does it work passively as well? I noticed that your character’s IED seems to vibrate when it detects static Investiture, but I wasn’t sure if that applies to ISDs as well.
  21. Fenna, New Hallandren Storing weight, Fenna leapt up to the top of a building, then, with a powerful pewter flare, launched herself through the air, over the wall and into the Nalthian district, landing on top of another roof. She spotted a group of people, on the street a hundred or so feet away. With another leap, she sent herself sailing in that direction. Fenna tapped weight midair, slowing herself down, but allowing her to build up more momentum as she fell. As she neared the fight, she stored weight again, gaining a burst of speed that launched her at one of the guards. She flared pewter and extended her legs for a kick. @TwinStorm @Koloss17
