  1. I am able to get back to this if other people are.
  2. No problem! As I said, I am not very familiar with Reckoners, so I didn't realize that carrying his Epic weakness would actually disable his power sometimes. In that case, it might be a good idea to sort of know why he does carry it, since otherwise, it seems like a highly illogical choice.
  3. I'm not super familiar with the Reckoners series (nor am I in charge of approving characters), but I can give some feedback. Depending on how his powers works, it might be a bit overpowered or difficult to manage in other ways. If I am understanding correctly, he can teleport any person or object he is touching to any place he has been? The main issue I see with that is that it creates a very easy solution to most conflicts if he could just teleport someone away. Putting some minor limitations on it would probably balance it fairly easily, such as if it consumes a lot of energy to do (perhaps proportional to the mass of the object and/or distance travelled?) The second thing, which you may have already considered, is that it's generally impossible to leave the Alleyverse, which would mean he can't teleport out of it. (As for your note about interdimensional travel in the backstory, while I don't think you could directly access Shadesmar from a universe other than the Cosmere, it's not super important to have a concrete explanation about how your character reached the Alleyverse unless you want to. The easiest way, however, is just that any random alley has a chance of taking you to the Alleyverse. Other than that, it seems pretty solid in my opinion (it seems like he could fit into the current plot pretty well with all the gang and secret organization related stuff going on), but we'll have to wait for @Koloss17 to take a look.
  4. I believe joining mid-Era is perfectly fine! (I started right at the end of an Era.) Welcome! @Koloss17 (Just wanted to make sure if you've seen this.)
  5. Alright, everyone, I'm back! Does someone want to catch me up on what's happening? Otherwise I guess I can just read.
  6. Sorry for disappearing. Things are really busy with school right now, but I'll be completely done in like a week and a half and I'll jump back in here. I don't think any of my characters are currently interacting with anybody, so hopefully nobody was waiting on me.
  7. Thav, Smokestack Gradually, the night grew still. Thav cautiously burned bronze. All the pulses had disappeared. Rusts. He wasn't sure whether Aradan had been there or not. If it was him, Thav wasn't sure what to do. Aradan might have escaped, or he might be leading the way to the hideout under compulsion. If that was the case, Thav needed to get back and warn Jerrin that the base was compromised, though he wasn't looking forward to explaining why. He dropped a coin to the street below and jumped down, Pushing on the coin to slow his descent, then started off towards the hideout.
  8. Fenna, Smokestack Fenna opened her mouth to reply to Eza, but at that moment, her pewter reserves ran out. Without the strength to push herself forward, air resistance kicked in immediately, extinguishing her momentum. Fenna lost balance and stumbled, sliding a short way along the street before coming to a halt. Dazed, she reached for another pewter vial and downed it, restoring her strength, but her quarry had already disappeared. @Lunamor @Qianweilian
  9. Yeah. I can write something in a minute.
  10. Fenna, Smokestack Fenna froze, hanging on the edge of the trapdoor as she heard a new voice outside. She shivered, suddenly flashing back to the bloodstained floor of a constabulary and a horde of reanimated corpses. Suddenly remembering that the Prince of the Alleys was supposed to be a Seeker, Fenna hurriedly extinguished her metals. Her fingers slipped as she suddenly became weak and heavy, but she caught onto the top rung of the ladder, keeping herself from falling. With great effort, she hoisted herself up and onto the floor of the building. Her vision fuzzed as exhaustion started to overwhelm her, and she lost track of the conversation outside. Eventually, fearing she would lose consciousness, Fenna turned her pewter back on. Standing slowly, she saw that there was no one outside the building, but she caught a glimpse of two figures fleeing down the street ahead. There was no sign of Perses, and she half though she had imagined his presence. Gritting her teeth, she stored weight and started off after Aradan and Eza. Thav, Smokestack Thav began to creep in the opposite direction the pulses had come from but hesitated as he heard faint voices. One of them seemed familiar, but he couldn't make out any words. He glanced up and down the street. Seeing no one, he dropped a coin on the ground and jumped, Pushing off the coin to propel himself to the second story windowsill of a nearby building. Dropping another coin at his feet, he Pushed again as he hoisted himself up to the roof. Moving in the direction the voices had come from, Thav placed another coin and leapt to another roof. He dropped low as a figure suddenly flew to the top of a building a block or so away. His blood went cold as he connected the pulses he had felt with the cloaked figure. This was not a safe place to be. But he was fairly sure he had heard Aradan's voice nearby. Thav dared burn bronze. He picked up four sets of pulses. Two people burning iron were moving swiftly away, followed by someone burning pewter. The other was the figure on the roof, burning bronze and steel. Tapping zinc, he completed his analysis in an instant and quickly turned off his bronze again. If it was Aradan, Thav doubted he could catch up. He hoped that he hadn't been detected during his brief moment of power, but he reached for his aluminum pistol and began to scoot backwards. @Qianweilian @Lunamor @Koloss17 @Through the Living Mist
  11. Thav, Smokestack Thav froze as he felt an Allomantic signature nearby. Whoever it was was burning multiple metals. Thav could make out steel and bronze. That meant would have detected him as well. More than one metal almost certainly meant Hemalurgy. Had he been tracked? Thav tapped zinc, thinking through his options, before extinguishing his metals. He was now blind to the other Allomancer's movements, but hopefully they were just as blind to his. @Koloss17 Fenna, Underground Dashing down the hall, Fenna saw Aradan and Eza reach a ladder. With a flare of pewter, she pushed herself even faster. Unfortunately, while her light weight made it easier to propel herself, it also made her more susceptible to drag, limiting her speed. As she reached the end of the hallway, she saw Eza disappear through a trapdoor at the top of the ladder. With a flare of pewter, Fenna launched herself upward, grabbing onto the rim of the trapdoor. @Qianweilian @Lunamor @Through the Living Mist
  12. I don’t think Aradan is spiked. Saitaku is, so maybe it was a mix-up.
  13. Thav, Smokestack Thav emerged from a manhole, finding himself back in the middle of Smokestack. He hoisted himself up and rolled over onto his back, groaning. That was…a disaster. Jerrin was going to be furious, especially when he found out Thav had shown their base to a total stranger, only tor that stranger to be captured by their enemies. Their location was almost certainly compromised, and Thav couldn’t even blame Aradan if he had given up the information. Thav sat up, realizing he could still be in danger. In fact, the hideout could be under attack any moment. He stood up and burned bronze and steel to make sure his surroundings were clear. Fenna, Underground Still surprised by Eza’s presence, Fenna barely noticed Aradan pointing a gun at her, but she made no move to stop them as they ran out of the room. How does this kid manage to always show up at the mist inconvenient time? Mask, followed by Bairn and his thugs, strode into the room. He surveyed the broken cell, frowning. “Did they get out?” he demanded, his voice filled with displeasure. ”I can catch up,” Fenna said immediately, sheathing her dagger. “I need another weapon.” Mask jerked his head, and one of the thugs handed over his gun. Fenna stores weight and dashed down the hallway after Aradan and Eza. @Qianweilian @Lunamor @Through the Living Mist @Koloss17
  14. That would certainly be one way to make things go crazy. I'd be fine with that.
  15. Nothing in particular really. It could just be a brief improvised encounter if that works for you.
  16. I'd be down for that. I was going to pick up with Thav again, and that could add something interesting.
  17. Fenna, Underground, Cell Block Fenna skidded to a halt as she burst into the room. "What are you doing here?" she exclaimed in surprise, panic setting in. Part of her still didn't want to see anything bad happen to Eza, but if she was an enemy of her new employers... Just then, Fenna heard someone coming from behind. She stored weight and leapt aside as Saitaku charged into the room wielding a spike. "What are you doing, you maniac?" she demanded. @Qianweilian @Lunamor @Through the Living Mist
  18. Whenever works for me!
  19. There's a decent number of spikes floating around in this organization. Most of the average grunts are not spiked, but 10 - 20% or so have one.
  20. A spike is the most obvious option. I did have one other possible idea: That's obviously more powerful, but almost no one can use it anyway. This organization would definitely want it for its usefulness in Hemalurgy though.
  21. To summarize, this organization just held an underground recruitment meeting, which was infiltrated by Thav (one of my other characters) and Aradan (Qianweilan's character.) Fenna was also at said meeting, acting as security, and so was Saitaku (Mistfallen's character) as a potential recruit. Chaos broke out, and Aradan was captured. Saitaku was also briefly detained due to attacking other recruits during the confusion. From there, they were taken to their current location, where Saitaku was released. Aradan has just made a break for it in a bid to escape. So, the only prisoners here were the ones just captured. We could have Eza be imprisoned here from an earlier point if we can think of a good reason that they would have left her alive instead of just spiking her. Like you suggested, she could have stolen something, and perhaps hidden it? They would then need to keep her imprisoned in order to try to get that information out of her. I could try to think of something that would be valuable to them. My understanding of what canonically happened following era 8 is that New Hallandren cracked down hard on UFO, so we could just say as a result of that, Eza and Fenna both had to leave the district to avoid being arrested, preventing that meeting from taking place. Does that sound good?
  22. Hello, welcome back! Fenna is still active, so that plot-line is still open if you want. We’d just have to fill in some details, since it’s been a year in-universe.
