  1. Fenna, Mistwarrens New Hallandren? Well, whatever--Fenna didn't particularly care what the specific goal was. She nodded. "I'll follow on the ground." Thav, The Corridor, The Silver Dagger Thav did as the shopkeeper suggested, though he was pretty well stocked on most items. Some aluminum would be useful, but he couldn't afford to use their limited funds on weapons. He did select some aluminum bullets--it wouldn't be enough to use constantly, but it would be useful for dealing with Coinshots and Lurchers. He waited at the counter for the shopkeeper to return.
  2. Fenna, Mistwarrens ”Spiked?” Fenna’s heart rate, well, spiked. The man spoke of Hemalurgy casually. To Fenna, it was still something dark, and almost legendary—a shadowy idea in the back of her mind. ”No,” she said. “Not spiked. …and…you are?”
  3. Fenna, Mistwarrens ”Allomantic pewter, Feruchemical iron,”Fenna told him. “I’m good at breaking stuff. Like buildings.” Technically, she had only completely destroyed one building, and it hadn’t been intentional, but that was beside the point.
  4. Fenna, Mistwarrens "You want power and control. So do I--that's how we survive. I'm new to this sort of life; you clearly have experience and ambitions. With my support, you can do more than you can without me, and I learn how all of this works. It's beneficial to both of us."
  5. Fenna, Mistwarrens Interesting. “Well either way,” Fenna said. “That certainly didn’t go too well for you.” She crossed her arms, glancing at the injuries he had sustained. “What if I were to offer you my help?”
  6. Fenna, Mistwarrens ”Good. I saw you at the police precinct. You wanted to ally with Perses, but obviously , he doesn’t think you’re quite on his level. ”It’s not surprising—I’m sure you’ve heard a lot about him. The ‘incident’ with the Blood Moon for example?”
  7. Fenna skidded to a stop. “I just want to talk,” she said. “I have an arrangement to propose. Will you hear me out?” From what she had observed, this man seemed somewhat erratic, but hopefully he could be reasonable. If not…well, he was wounded—Fenna felt reasonably secure.
  8. Fenna, Mistwarrens Fenna growled in frustration as her bullet—intended to draw the Coinshot’s attention—was simply deflected. Well, that wasn’t going to work. She re-holstered her gun and dropped lightly to the street. Part of her wanted to stop—this had all been a whim anyway. But she was stubborn. Flaring pewter again, Fenna ran. Before, she had gone at a comfortable speed—which was quite fast with pewter. Now she pushed as hard as she could in a sprint that would exhaust even her after a few minutes. It could be dangerous with her dulled sense of fatigue, but she could risk it for a short time. Fenna sped down the street, breathing heavily. Buildings passed by in a blur as she approached the Coinshot.
  9. Fenna's quarry continued to bound away, apparently reassured that she couldn't do anything to him from a distance. Fine, then, Fenna thought. She whipped out her gun and fired at him.
  10. Fenna twisted in the air reflexively as a coin shot by, grazing her arm. There was no pain—she wouldn’t even have noticed if she hadn’t seen it happen. She landed on the next roof in an awkward roll, but managed to flip back to her feet. Rusts. She had no way of fighting from a distance. She had a gun, sure, but shooting non-aluminum bullets at a Coinshot was a stupid idea. Besides, she wasn’t here to fight anyway. Fenna took off again, keeping a close watch on the Coinshot—as well as she could in the dark—in case he shot another coin.
  11. Fenna, Mistwarrens Fenna stored some extra weight, making herself incredibly light, and leapt on to the roof of a building in a single bound. She continued to run, jumping between buildings in arcing leaps. It wasn’t Steelpushing, but it was close. Fenna doubted many other Metalborn had experienced this—you needed pewter to make up for the strength lost by storing weight. Not only that, but her savantism lent her jumps greater distance than even another with the same metals could have managed. Approaching a large gap, Fenna sped up and stored her weight to the maximum as she pushed off. Her cloak flapped behind her as she flew through the air, her hood falling back. The Coinshot was still a ways ahead, but she thought she was closing the distance.
  12. Fenna, Mistwarrnes Fenna watched as one of the fighters, a Coinshot, took off, bounding on Steelpushes, letting out an unhinged laugh. She glanced back at Perses and the Radiant and Elantrian, but was struck by a new idea. She began filling her ironminds and flared pewter, taking off after the Coinshot at an inhuman sprint.
  13. Thav, The Corridor, The Silver Dagger “Metal vials,” Thav said. “Eight electrum, eight bronze and steel. ”Separate,” he added, hurriedly. “All separate.” That was the main reason he had taken responsibility for purchasing metals—he needed to keep himself supplied with steel, and Jerrin didn’t need to know about that.
  14. Thav, The Corridor Thavel Talin strolled down the streets of the Corridor, on his way to the Silver Dagger, a store for Metalborn supplies. With Jerrin growing more and more obsessive in his search for leads, Thav had taken it upon himself to ensure that they remained supplied with gear. Well, that at any rate was one reason. To give himself something to think about, Thav had decided to try out various shops and test the quality of each. The Silver Dagger was a bit out of the way, but it had a good reputation. Thav burned bronze before stepping into the store--a habit he had learned after countless missions with the team. There were a few random pulses--mostly zinc and brass--but nothing close by. That safety check out of the way, Thav passed through the door and walked to the front counter. @Koloss17
  15. @Koloss17 I haven't introduced Thav yet, and I was thinking an easy way to start off would be to have him stocking up on some gear. Would you want to RP Venser?
  16. Fenna, Mistwarrens Fenna Koss stalked quietly through the Mistwarrens, impervious to the chill night air. She had no particular purpose being out, but lately, the darkness had felt more comfortable than the light of day. As always, pewter burned within her, making her strong—keeping her alive. Suddenly, the night stillness was shattered by shouts and a sudden blast. Cautiously, Fenna hurried forward and peeked around a corner to see what was happening. She was near the old police precinct, and there seemed to be a fight going on inside. Two figures glowed brightly, one of them encased in a bulky set of Shardplate. Radiants? In the Mistwarrens? That was certainly unusual. The other figures were indistinct. Fenna couldn’t make them out— Light from the Radiant floating in the middle of the room flashed across the face of one of the combatants, revealing glinting spike heads and a bone-plated cloak. It was him. Perses. Fenna had seen him once before, on the night of the Blood Moon. His appearance and terrified her then, but now she watched more in fascination then fear. He was what she needed to become—someone willing to take power, to do whatever it took to survive. Fenna stayed back. There was no reason to get involved in this, but she couldn’t help watching. @SpiritOfWrath @KnightSkye @TwinStorm @Koloss17
  17. This is why it worked for Taln to do it alone. We've kind of already explored that idea.
  18. Palava, New Hallandren, Tulen's Residence Palava stared back at Tulen, affronted. "Do you think the directors would assign me to this task if I were unsuited to it?" she demanded. "My mission here is to ensure that your mission is completed with minimal setbacks, and you can trust me to do so." "Now," she continued. "You know the location of our assignment? Are you ready to begin?"
  19. Palava, New Hallandren, Tulen’s Residence ”Tulen Hental, I presume?” Palava said, stepping into the room and surveying the pale man. “Yes, I’m Agent Maves. I was assigned to assist you.” The drab scientist wasn’t much to look at, but she had been warned that he could be intense. ”Shall we commence, then?” Palava asked. “I will stay out of your way until you require my assistance.”
  20. Palava, New Hallandren Palava Maves walked down the streets of New Hallandren on her way to her new assignment. Fortunately, she had been reassigned to the district a few days earlier, avoiding the complications of getting in that the lockdown would have caused. This would be her first real assignment. Back in the Sphere, there had been few operations to take part in. They would get there one day. Palava found the location she had been given, and knocked on the door, keeping one eye on the people passing in the street. @Stormlightsong @SpiritOfWrath
  21. Oh, okay! I didn't realize you already had a second commitment, but that's no problem. If you ever want Kaiden to meet Fenna later, let me know.
  22. @TwinStorm @KnightSkye If you would like, I have a character who isn't doing anything yet that I could bring in. It seems like Kaiden could use someone who isn't actively trying to kill him to help him figure out what's going on in Alleycity. If not, that's totally find. I'll find something else. If it bears relevance to your decision, this is the character I'm referring to:
  23. Yeah, that sounds good!
  24. I have a UFO character now, so she could interact with yours, although it might be better to wait for @Stormlightsong to set the scene for UFO first, ‘cause I’m not exactly sure where or under what circumstances two UFO agents would be meeting.
