Rysn, Axies, Wit, Zahel, Rock, Renarin or Mraize please!!!
Want Rysn / Axies most. They are easily my favourite minor characters in SA, and I would thank Brandon a thousand times for mentioning their meeting in WoR XD
Also happy to see a Jasnah / Lift / Lopen novella, which is more possible =)
Still have hope of a Herald novella. (Strange, but I'd love to know more about Kalak and Taln.)
Or, how about something in spren's POV?

Funniest character: maybe Lopen or Rock
Wit insulting others and Shallan quipping are both funny XD
In WoK:
- Renarin saying "nothing ridiculous"
- Rock telling Kaladin and Teft his true name for the first time
In WoR:
- All the birds are called "chicken"
- Boots incident ("No apologize! Boots!") (and everytime Shallan and Kaladin banter with each other)
- Kaladin learning to ride horse (and what he did with Dreamstorm)
- Pattern telling jokes (I mean what he said in chapter 60)
- Shallan asking Adolin to slay some moss for her
- Adolin admitting that he has shat his Plate three times
- Adolin saying that he wanted to pay to see a happy Kaladin (and everytime these two have interactions)
(Adolin is such a cutie in this book )
- Shallan hugging Wit (This scene made my day, yay!)
That's all I can think of for now

Your take on Adolin is quite awesome! I like it (Yay for Adolin! Because there's just too much Kaladin and Shallan art there )
So far as I know, there's probably not so much art of Nightwatcher around, so every art piece is precious. Hope we will find more about her in the future books!

When reading WoK, I always thought Shin people are dark-skinned... Really don't know why because there're descriptions in book say that they have pale skin. So... my first Szeth fan art is drawn wrong and not until Mr. Inkthinker pointed it out did I realize that I made a huge mistake! (* Facepalm*) Then I would never forget this fact

Stormlight:
In WoR, Jasnah, definitely Jasnah. It was way too shocking for me. I thought of her death before (The thing usually happens on mentors), but still couldn't get over it when reading the book. Not long after grieving for her, I was spoiled that she is actually alive, then I flipped to the epilogue at once... Oh my it was like riding a roller coaster!
In WoK, Tien's death is heartbreaking TAT Also R.I.P. to Kaladin's friends in Amaram's army.

Sometimes I use Stormfather! but then realize the curse word is too long…

Wow, cool idea! Upvoted! I'll be the next
Emperor's Soul stuff ↓

I also do the translation of WoR, so here is a suggestion: in Chinese mainland version, "Unmade" is translated as a word which has similar meaning to "destroyer". (I agree with @dvoraen)

Part 4 comes yay! Incredible as always! Chasm scene is so good! (That chasmfiend *o*) Made me want to see a SA Lego movie! Really anticipate Part 5, which is the most epic part.

Nice work! I reeeally like your depiction of Wit =)

Another change is in chapter 88:
Original:
“Not if it is done before the brain dies. Like a drowned man restored to life with the proper ministrations, you could be restored with the right
fabrialSurgebinding. If I had waited seconds longer, of course, it would have been too late.”Replacement:
“Not if it is done before the brain dies. Like a drowned man restored to life with the proper ministrations, you could be restored with the right
fabrialSurgebinding. If I had waited seconds longer, of course, it would have been too late. But surely you know this. Two of the Blades held by your people allow Regrowth. I suspect you have already seen the newly dead restored to life.”I must apologize for that earlier tumblr post! Now that Brandon officially announced the tweaking, I think it's okay to post this here

I'll say short stories because they're too short and reveal too little of a world. (But I do enjoy The Emperor's Soul after reread.)
For novels, perhaps Warbreaker and Alloy of Law. For no reason, I just couldn't get into the story very quicky. I think my first read-through was too forced. Maybe I just need to reread them =)

The Way of Kings cover is my all time favourite! I just like the epic feeling of it (That highstorm, wow!). As the first book of SA, WoK really makes a good start.

That's the question I desperately want to ask. I always assume he has light blue eyes just like his brother and father, but it's also likely that he inherits his mother's eye color, I don't know exactly. Hopefully we will get some answers later! (A very big fan art problem!)

Thanks! This playlist helps a lot! I'm listening to it while translating the last chapters of WoR and it feels so good

Someone really asked this during signing?! I can never thank him or her enough! So one problem is solved and I can translate this word into my mother tongue properly
(Also thanks, Zea mays, for posting the transcript except!)

Hello all! I noticed this sparkflicker thing when rereading WoK and WoR, but couldn't quite get what it is.
Till now, the word appears twice (emphasis is mine):
He was a short man, with some Herdazian blood in him as evidenced by his dark, crystalline fingernails, though he didn’t wear a spark-flicker. (WoK Ch. 26)
She stopped, grinning at a man performing a show with puppets and a box. Farther down the way, a Herdazian used a sparkflicker and some kind of oil to make bursts of flame in the air. If she could just stop off a little time and do a sketch of him . . . (WoR Ch. 43)
And we also have a saying of Lopen: Flick my sparks! I think this probably comes from the sparkflicker.
“Well flick my sparks,” Lopen said. “Rock, you never said it was so pretty!” (He is talking about Syl.) (WoK Ch. 49)
“Gon, I haven’t been to Herdaz since I was a baby. There are as many Herdazians in Alethkar and Jah Keved these days as there are in our homeland. Flick my sparks, I’m practically an Alethi! Only not so tall and not so grouchy.” (WoR Ch. 41)
My first thought? It can be a typical Herdazian ornament, and I did a search in Coppermind and SA Wikia to see how it goes:- The Coppermind says: A sparkflicker was an ornament or article of clothing that was worn by some Herdazians on Roshar.
- SA Wikia says: A sparkflicker is a type of ornamentation worn, typically, by Herdazians. Havarah, however, of mixed descent, did not wear a sparkflicker.
It seems that I'm on the right track. But how exactly does a sparkflicker look like? Is it kind of a stick or torch used by some firebreathers or something? I couldn't quite imagine it. I also wonder the actual meaning of that Lopen saying. If anyone can muse on this, that will be of great help!

Elantris sequels (plural mind you) are interesting.
Does this mean we'll get more than one book or more short stories?!

A great list!
So I assume I'm currently the only one who comes from Chinese mainland and also lives there? Or is there anyone here??

I come from China and English is my second language as we learn it since childhood. My major in college is Germanistik and that requires me to master the language. The first year was quite horrible because I had never learnt a bit of it. But then I was impressed by the nature of this language. Now I think I can speak German as fluent as English I'm also learning Italian on my own but could hardly speak it.

[*]Mraize/Veil: My guilty pleasure ship, because I am such a Mraize fangirl. I've got a hunch that while the Ghostbloods are morally questionable, they're not as unequivocably "evil" as we originally believed. Mraize has found out her secret, but the fact that the newest Ghostblood recruit also happens to be an influential Knight Radiant in training and the betrothed of a Highprince's heir only makes her more valuable. As Shallan finds out more of the Ghostblood's side of things, she's caught in a conflict of loyalties between the Kholins and the Knights Radiant and Mraize and the Ghostbloods. She starts to see her two identities as more and more separate, allowing her to justify the increasing contradictions in her actions. While Shallan is betrothed and loyal to Adolin, Veil is more of a wild card, and Mraize is oh so fond of his new recruit.
I'm not even going to try to justify that last ship, just leave me here in my pile of shipping garbage and allow me to roll around in this relationship trash. It is every kind of guilty pleasure kind of ship and I don't even care. Renarin/Veil Shallarin shipping is my jam though. Man I love it so much.
WOW I think I'm the only one who secretly wishes this ship to be true!!! Upvoted! There are just so many Shallan ships spinning in my head, and Mraize sounds like an interesting option. Though I doubt the possibility, at least man can hope =)

Feather, thanks for the thoughts =) (I'm always missing things on tumblr…) It will be of great help for those who cannot get the book. Prime sounds quite different and refreshing!

Amazing work as always!!! That chess set totally blew my mind wow!!!
The Axehounds are really cute, by the way =)

I really like Stones Unhallowed, and if Brandon finally decides to use Skybreaker, I'll be a little disappointed. So long as the titel of book three still refers to an in-world volume, I hope it will have something to do with the Shin culture

World misconceptions that are difficult to shift.

I'm of the same opinion as OP. (My headcanon is perhaps not so big as baubles, but definitely bigger than the size of fingernails.)
Some other misconceptions:
- Sadeas: rather thin and Snape-like (I struggled for so long to change my depiction of him, and eventually draw him as fat and reddish, but fashionable at the same time…)
- Dalinar: with NO beard (Just because many people believe he does wear a beard.)
(But I'm not sure if this can be counted as one, since a WoB confirmed that he is clean shaven in most cases, IIRC.)
- Kaladin: very tall and lanky, looks like an athlete (Fleet?) (But by carrying bridges, canon Kaladin is obviously much stronger and more muscular than my mental image.)
- Alethi uniforms (especially Kholin uniforms) are Prussian.
- Vorin havah is a mixture of Sari, Ao Dai, Qipao and Shalwar Kameez, but with NO buttons at the front. (I just can't put those two lines of buttons correctly…)
- Thaylen eyebrows are VERY long.
- The Shins are black. (*Facepalm again*)
- Shardplate: close-fitting, something like a medieval Iron Man armor. (I always get the impresssion that the Shards are not completely made out of metal, but crystal or other things, and Shardblades must be translucent…)
- Syl is blue. Stormlight is white verging on blue. Ivory dresses like a Count Dracula.
