    Oh noooo heheh the Dihydrogen Monoxide thing last year was pretty funny (idk if they did it for all the FSY camps but they did where I went [basically they told us there was a Dihydrogen Monoxide leak in the dorms and it was a whole thing]) because I knew what was going on but everyone else was freaking out heheheh yikes okay

    Mom: I don't know- go apply for a new job or learn something new or finish your college application or something just get off that computer

    so she does realize that unless she wants me to read a bunch of outdated science books, I need a computer for all of those things, right?

    wow thank you father yk that was just what I needed was to be told that my bad feelings are an inconvenience to everyone and that my mental well-being is not a concern of yours I love you too

     

    parents logic:

    Say nasty and hurtful things about your kids while pretending like you're saying it behind said kids' backs even though you know full well your kids are in the next room and have no trouble hearing the conversation

    and/or

    complain to everyone around them about how awful their kids are without actually telling their kids what the problem is so they can fix it
