    The visions? The crow ruffled its feathers happily. Tam sighed under the sand. "It was fun while it lasted." The crow squawked at her and hopped off Bat's shoulder onto the sand, approaching Tam. "Hey, wait, what are you- whoa!" she cried as it used its beak to dig her out of the sand. It picked her up by one of her legs with its beak and flew back to Bat, setting her on his head. "Oh, hey Bat," she laughed.

    Are you okay? She shrugged. "It's probably for the best." Then she turned into a crab and burrowed under the sand until only her eye stalks were sticking out. She giggled. At least her voice was normal.
